Chapter 314: Ch-314: Susan Valemont and Red Obsidian
[Ding Dong]
[You have completed a Legendary Quest]
[You have been awarded a Red Obsidian Production Dungeon]
"!!!" Victor’s pupils constricted to the size of pinpricks when he read the name of the reward he had received, and he could not help but exclaim, "Holy shit, I actually got Red Obsidian!"
Red Obsidian was one tier above the normal Obsidian he used to make Magisteel for the Mechs. He had been pondering for a couple of days how he should get Red Obsidian to make better Mechs and, especially, more powerful defenses after he established a Kingdom, as he was sure that after creating a Kingdom, he would become the target of attacks from other hostile and even neutral Kingdoms.
Even if he did not power up his army and defenses, it could not be called a proper Kingdom. Of course, his Mech army could still contend against the armies of rival Kingdoms, but he wanted to power up his army so they could easily dominate rival armies, ensuring they would not dare target his Kingdom. The best solution was to upgrade the Mechs for his soldiers. Of course, the Mechs he wanted to create required higher-grade Magisteel, and for that, he needed Red Obsidian.
He never expected to get access to these ores through the Records. He honestly thought he had to somehow go off-planet to get them, as this planet simply did not have any Red Obsidian ores.
"Well, at least now I can make better Magisteel," Victor said with a gleam of excitement in his eyes as he looked at a small orb appear in his palm. This was the key to entering and moving the Dungeon given to him as a reward, and he tossed it into his inventory for the time being.
"Hubby, what are you mumbling about?" Amber frowned when she saw Victor mumbling about something.
"Nothing important," Victor said.
"Husband, I will go and prepare for your coronation. A newly established Kingdom should have its ruler crowned in public," Rina said in a serious voice.
"You are right. It completely slipped my mind. We should also be crowned as Queens," Amber said with a glint in her eyes.
"Fine. You two prepare. I am too lazy to bother," Victor said lazily, which caused his wives to snort and leave the place.
He then brought out the Mechanical Life Form Summoning Contracts and used them.
Victor watched them dissolve into thin air as a new row of notifications appeared on his retina.

"Hmm, I should go back to my workshop and start creating better Mechs," Victor said as he closed his tab.

Earth
While Victor was celebrating establishing a Kingdom and obtaining the Red Obsidian, everyone on Earth also received a notification about Faceless.
Angel Wing Guild Base
"I never expected Julian to join Cipher," Andrew said with a sigh as he shook his head.
"That bastard has not only brought shame to his family but also to the top families. How is public opinion?" Rachel asked with a clenched jaw.
Andrew’s face turned grim when he heard the question and replied, "Bad. I mean, really bad. People are questioning whether a top family’s heir can join a terrorist group, and what’s stopping the others, including us, from joining Cipher? Not only that, but they are also questioning the competence of the World Awakener Association. I have heard that Headmaster Lance is travelling across the country to calm the public down."
An heir of a top family joining a terrorist organization had shaken not only the entire country but also the world, and the negative tide against the top families was rising like a powerful wave. The other families were completely furious and were pressuring the Walker Family. The Walkers, in an attempt to appease everyone, had changed their heir and even assembled a hit squad to hunt down Cipher and capture Julian, dead or alive, but they could not calm public anger. The anger and suspicion were also directed towards them, the heirs. The Angel Wing Guild members had also been ordered by the government and the Association to temporarily suspend all dungeon expeditions.
"Damn, because of that bastard, the other guilds will get ahead!" Rachel cursed, biting her nails anxiously. She was worried that the other guilds, which were allowed to conduct dungeon expeditions, would surpass them.
Olivia frowned, looking at Rachel, and said, "Stop biting your nails and stop panicking like a weakling, Rachel."
Rachel looked at Olivia and said, "How on Earth are you so calm? Are you not worried?"
"Not one bit. Do you think trash could surpass the guilds of the top families? They would only get a little ahead. The only guild that can rival us is Zero Wing, and their leaders seem to be absent and have no intention of exploring dungeons for the time being," Olivia pointed out.
"Well, that makes sense," Rachel thought for a second and calmed down, thinking with disdain, ’That’s right. What could those trash do...? I got worked up for no reason.’
"But Olivia, you still lost to Amber," Rachel said in a teasing voice, and Olivia’s expression darkened when she thought about the Black Ice Amber had used and glared at Rachel with a cold expression, causing Rachel to shrink under her gaze.
Just as Olivia was about to say something, her expression froze as she looked at the new notification that appeared on her retina.
"What on Earth? How the hell did this guy suddenly complete a Hidden Legendary Quest?" Rachel complained.
"You are right. This guy had been silent for a long time, and I thought he wouldn’t make any splash anytime soon, but it looks like I was wrong," Andrew nodded in agreement.
"I am more curious about the quest he got... It would have been better if the Records showed what quest he completed," Olivia mumbled.

Valemont Estate
Valerie stood with her back straight, a nervous expression on her face. She kept her head lowered, trying to avoid eye contact with the woman sitting across from her in a luxurious chair.
The woman was extremely beautiful, with a voluptuous and seductive body that could drive any man insane with lust. Her face bore many similarities to Valerie’s, and she looked like an older version of her. Susan Valemont was her name, the current matriarch and head of the family, as well as Valerie’s biological mother.
"Daughter, I gave you a task. Why have you still not accomplished it?" Susan looked at her daughter with irritation and asked in a cold voice.
Valerie flinched and replied in a somewhat low voice, "Mother, it’s not like I’m refusing. I just need a bit more time to get to know him, and he already has two women as his lovers."
Bang!
Susan Valemont slammed her hand on the table and said, "So what if he has multiple women? I don’t think you should have a problem with that. All the women of the top families are trained to accept and tolerate the fact that highly successful men could have mistresses. And now that the age of mana and Awakeners has arrived, the government has also started considering legalizing polygamy. I have even heard reports that many Awakeners have married multiple NPCs in the game... if it can still be called a game."
Susan looked at her daughter and said with an amused smile, "You know, I have some spies in the Academy. They have sent me reports that you are really close to Victor and the two girls, and they say they have spotted you being clingy with Victor."
Valerie’s head snapped upward, and her eyes widened as she looked at her mother in shock. A blush spread across her face. "H-How?"
"Doesn’t matter how or who told me. With your beauty, I don’t think it should be difficult to get him into bed with you, right? If necessary, get him drunk and tell him to take responsibility for you, and..." Susan paused and then added, "Also, tell him that if he takes you, he won’t need to marry into the family, and you will still remain the heir. But your children with him will inherit the Valemont Family."
"Mother, why are you so hell-bent on having him connected to the family?" Valerie asked with a frown, as the conditions she had laid out were something no one in their family history had ever offered to an outsider.
"Heh, don’t you know his identity, the one you’ve been keeping secret?" When Valerie heard this, her breath hitched, sweat dripped from her forehead, and her heart began racing as a possibility crossed her mind. She asked in a trembling voice, "Don’t tell me you know?"
"Yes, I know he is Faceless," Susan dropped the bombshell.
"How?" Valerie asked in disbelief.
"Do you think you’re the only one with a Warlock Bloodline? I have one too," Susan said with a smirk.
