Liora wasn’t surprised by how quickly the news had spread.

After all, death within the Land of Origin was not true death for Ancient Devils. Their Thrones remained intact unless one went out of their way to destroy them.

Given enough time, they could reconstruct their physical bodies and return to life.

As such, news of their "death" would naturally spread through her victims.

Even if some wanted to keep it a secret, unwilling to let others know about their weakness, Ancient Devils with allies or powerful backgrounds would spread the news to seek revenge.

"Thankfully, I’ve already changed my aura and taken the form of the Dragon of Time. No one should suspect that I did this."

"What does the Dragon Devil have to do with the Primordial Sin Demon Lord?"

"If you want to seek revenge, you should look for it, not me." Liora thought.

She waved her claws, destroying the corpse in front of her.

Then, she closed her eyes.

Her consciousness sank into the dark void, and the white light expanded even further.

"Plundering and devouring really are the easiest ways for a Devil to grow stronger. If I had practiced normally, it would have taken me centuries to reach this point."

Liora looked at the Imprinting column and shook her head.

When she had first entered the Land of Origin, the "road" had been less than three centimeters long. Now, however, it had almost reached sixty centimeters.

The actual increase in her fundamental strength was minuscule.

What Liora truly valued was the improvement it brought to her One Across Eternity technique.

By now, she was confident she could seriously injure even the most powerful Primordial Devil.

Although Liora had many thoughts on her mind, she did not linger here any longer.

As the Mountain Demon Lord had mentioned, news of this Primordial Devil’s death had already spread. It was highly likely that their allies would soon arrive at this place.

Even though Liora was not afraid of them, she had no intention of confronting them recklessly.

Thinking of this, her figure became translucent.

As though she had turned into an illusory river, she blended seamlessly into the chaotic flow of time around her.

Not only was she unaffected by it, but she also seemed capable of guiding it for her use.

"I can sense that I can borrow some of the Land of Origin’s power, inputting it into my attacks."

"Although the amount is barely noticeable, the power I can borrow should increase as my Dragon of Time form becomes more complete."

Over the past few days, the Ancient Devils had been far from her only victims. In fact, most of her opponents had been native creatures.

As she devoured the time fragments they left behind, the patterns on her scales became increasingly complete.

Her control over time had improved significantly.

Even the speed at which her split consciousness "paved the road" had increased, giving Liora greater expectations for the future.

Yet that was far from the only change this improvement had brought.

What interested Liora most was the call she had felt in her mind, as though a distant creature were trying to summon her.

She had sensed this call ever since she set foot in the Land of Origin. As her Dragon of Time form grew more complete, that call had become even more intense.

By now, Liora could even pinpoint its exact location.

...And for some reason, she felt an urge to seek it out.

Thinking of this strange feeling, Liora narrowed her eyes.

Although she consciously suppressed the urge, she still moved toward the source of the call.

In another part of the Land of Origin, two small armies were engaged in battle.

On one side stood corrupted humanoid creatures with black and golden wings. On the other were illusory beings made entirely of patterns and symbols.

In the sky, their respective leaders faced each other.

A young man with an ordinary aura.

A middle-aged scholar with a strange symbol on his forehead that resembled a third eye.

Two of the three most feared powerhouses of the present era.

The True Angel Demon Lord. The Original Truth Demon Lord.

These two powerhouses had met inside the Land of Origin. And just as they did in the outside world, they immediately clashed.

Although they stood still, seemingly doing nothing more than watching the battlefield, countless phantoms flashed around them, clashing with one another before fading away and reappearing.

"Your Fallen Angel army has grown stronger since the last time I saw you. Could it be that you’ve activated the Fallen Angel Pool again?" the middle-aged scholar asked with a faint smile, flipping through the pages of the book in his hand.

With every movement of his fingers, the phantoms around him grew stronger.

Meanwhile, the True Angel Demon Lord remained motionless. Runes flashed in the depths of his eyes, and the phantoms surrounding him merged, unleashing even greater power.

"Original Truth, we both know why we’re here. Why are you blocking my path?"

"Even if you want to fight, it should be once we arrive at that place," the True Angel Demon Lord asked coldly.

In response, the scholar shook his head.

"True Angel, you’re the one who attacked us first. I merely sought you out to discuss something. How could I have known you would suddenly become so violent?"

The True Angel Demon Lord did not argue. In fact, he had already guessed the scholar’s purpose. It was nothing more than seeking an alliance.

"That place can only be entered by one person each time. You should know there’s nothing to discuss."

The Original Truth Demon Lord’s eyes flashed with disappointment. He looked at the young man like a father who was disappointed by his son.

"You’re still as brainless as ever..."

"Don’t I know that there’s only one spot to enter that place? That’s exactly why I wanted to meet you."

"Don’t forget, besides the two of us, there’s also another person who has a chance to enter that place."

"You mean that madwoman?" The True Angel Demon Lord thought of his other longtime rival.

"Even if she tries to compete with us, she won’t stand a chance. She only dares to challenge us because of her special nature. Within this place, her immortality is meaningless."

"Indeed," the scholar replied with a nod. But soon, his expression changed, becoming solemn.

"However, have you ever wondered about the origins of that madwoman? It’s said that she was born a few billion years ago. I’ve already investigated the matter and found something shocking: the Land of Origin opened only a few decades before she appeared."

"Before its opening, she was unknown. It was only after its appearance that she became famous."

"You mean...?" The True Angel Demon Lord’s eyebrows rose.

"I suspect she was lucky enough to enter that place and obtained a treasure from inside," the scholar finally revealed his thoughts.

"Think about it. Had it not been for that, how could she have possibly competed with the two of us for so long? Even if she has reached the Absolute Beginning stage, it should have been impossible."

"You should know our true identities better than me. No Absolute Beginning Devil can contend with us..."
