Chapter 753: Holy Land

Even though the Holy Land Demon Lord’s blow was only a casual attack and was not aimed at them but at Liora, all the Ancient Devils that had the chance to observe the battle broke out in a cold sweat!

Just by taking a look at the spear’s outline, they felt their demonic nature quiet down, while the souls within their soul spaces froze.

They could be certain.

As long as the spear landed on them, they would be directly obliterated.

Not merely in physical terms.

Their Thrones would explode as well, giving an eternal end to their lives.

As they snapped back to reality, one Ancient Devil looked at Liora with pity and shook their head.

“I didn’t expect that such a powerhouse would perish not long after emerging. If she hadn’t acted so recklessly, she might have had a chance to reach the Primordial stage in the future.”

“Hehe. This is the price of arrogance.” Another Devil chuckled.

“Had she acted cautiously and established a Demon Layer normally like the rest of us, she wouldn’t be facing danger now.”

“Unfortunately, she dared to provoke the Fallen Angel lineage. Even then, her luck was bad. Who would have thought that the Holy Land Demon Lord would awaken?”

In fact, everyone could see that Liora was powerful.

To dare to act so arrogantly in the Demon World, they could be certain that she must possess several trump cards.

She might even be able to contend with Primordial Devils.

However, the Holy Land Demon Lord was not an ordinary Primordial Devil.

She was someone who had lived for billions of years and killed multiple Devils at the same stage.

Her power was terrifying!

Even Primordial Devils had to yield before her!

The person who understood this most clearly was none other than Liora.

Faced with the approaching Spear of Order, she could sense the extent of the Holy Land Demon Lord’s power better than anyone.

But she didn’t back down.

The Pride Avatar stretched out its hand, a black light flashing across its finger like lightning.

A second later, the Spear of Order froze in mid-air.

Several black marks appeared on its surface, gradually spreading to the rest of its body.

“Hmm…? A curse?” A surprised exclamation came from the Holy Land Demon Lord.

She recognized that the Sin Avatar’s attack was what had previously obliterated the Fallen Ancestor’s traces.

The Holy Land Demon Lord had already witnessed its strange properties upon her arrival and knew how deadly it was to Ancient Devils.

However, she had never expected that Liora’s curse would be strong enough to affect her abilities too.

“It seems that I underestimated you.” The Holy Land Demon Lord raised her head.

Although cold, her eyes were no longer as indifferent. A trace of appreciation flashed across them.

“You have a reason to be confident into stir up trouble. Your strength has reached the Primordial stage. You can be considered a powerhouse even in the Origin Sea.”

“Unfortunately…” She shook her head.

The Holy Land Demon Lord allowed the Spear of Order to disperse, preventing the Curse of Pride from spreading any further.

Then, she took action again, this time no longer as casually.

Golden light erupted from her figure and spread to her surroundings.

Although all powers in the banks of the River of Time were suppressed, the golden light quickly covered several kilometers, creating a powerful Domain.

Holy Land—the Holy Land Demon Lord’s exclusive ability, and the one that had granted her this title.

Seeing the golden Domain expand and sensing its power, even Liora had to take it seriously.

The reason was soon revealed.

“Within the Holy Land, I’m the absolute ruler.”

A voice echoed as the Holy Land Demon Lord unknowingly soared into the sky and hovered above the Domain.

She looked down at Liora and spoke solemnly.

“Everything inside this world will act according to my will.”

“For example…”

“Chains of Order!”

The moment that words fell, the entire Holy Land trembled violently.

Several whooshing sounds rang out, as though something was whistling through the air.

Golden chains materialized out of nothingness, shooting toward Liora from every direction.

They froze the space around her, preventing her from dodging their attack.

“Spear of Order!”

The Holy Land Demon Lord did not give her a chance.

Before the chains had even landed on Liora, she activated another ability.

Then another. And another.

“Hand of Judgment!”

“Heroic Spirit!”

“Holy Light!”

“Holy Citadel!”

Before anyone could react, Liora was surrounded by a myriad of abilities.

Weapons. Descending palms. Even summoned creatures and strange structures.

Each blow carried the might of a Primordial Devil.

When striking at the same time, they would make even other Primordial Devils pale.

Liora’s crimson eyes reflected the golden hue of the incoming attacks.

She didn’t move to evade them, as though locked by the Chains of Order.

Yet just as everyone thought she had accepted her death and was ready to die, the massive phantom standing behind her suddenly changed.

“Roar!” A thunderous growl resounded as the mask on its face split into seven, falling onto its body and squirming across it.

With their activation, the sin in the surrounding area was affected.

As if it had met its ruler, it rushed toward Liora and the Sin Avatars.

The light around Liora immediately retreated, replaced by a deadly crimson mist.

But that was not the end.

Only a split second later, the Sin Avatars let out another, even more deafening roar.

They struck with all their strength, each displaying its own unique ability.

The Wrath Avatar blessed its physical body. Six crimson arms formed and stretched from its torso, meeting the approaching weapons.

The Gluttony Avatar opened its mouth wide, swallowing the summoned creatures with a single gulp.

The Envy Avatar copied the enemy’s attacks and imitated them, using the Holy Land Demon Lord’s attacks against her.

In the blink of an eye, the situation had changed.

Two terrifying domains collided in the River of Time.

One of order. The other of sin.
