Chapter 529: The Myriad Races Come to Court

  • Next Chapter

In front of the prison beneath Sovereign City,

Felix wore heavy law shackles. Just before he was taken inside, he suddenly stopped and looked back.

Aiden stood on a nearby tower, quietly watching him.

"Aiden."

Felix’s voice carried through the wind.

"You have done something I longed to do for the fifty years I held this position, but never managed to accomplish."

"You gave Earth a future."

He looked deeply at Aiden.

"I hope you haven’t chosen the wrong path."

Aiden stood in the wind. He did not turn around or reply.

But deep in his heart, a firm voice rang out:

"I haven’t chosen the wrong path."

"Because I never intended to walk it alone."

...

At the same time,

at the former site of Celestial Imperial City, the original Pillar of Pride had been rebuilt into Earth’s New Organ of Pride.

Kelsey hovered at the center of the enormous ring of laws, her eyes closed.

Using her terrifying primordial affinity, she carefully sensed the pulse of every law node.

Suddenly,

Kelsey’s body trembled slightly.

Deep within Earth’s New Organ of Pride, in an extremely hidden fold of the law network, she found a strange fragment of information.

It had not been left by Yves.

Nor had it been left by the mysterious "Leon."

It was a message written stroke by stroke in the ancient and noble language of the Dragon Clan.

Without thinking, Kelsey softly read the words aloud:

"The Upper Universe is not dangerous..."

"It is simply very lonely."

...

The Seventh Day After Earth’s Rebirth

The newly rebuilt law network flowed slowly above Celestial Imperial City like a brilliant sea of stars. It gave off a soft yet powerful divine glow.

Outside the city gates, Earth witnessed a scene unlike anything in its history—

The myriad races of the Abyss had come to pay homage!

The King of the Red Dwarves, Malcolm, walked side by side with Syed, the strongest Forgemaster. Under the light of the new laws, the flames of law surrounding them looked gentle and pure.

Beside them walked Rainn of the Miko Clan. She wore the ancient feathered robe of the Primordial Miko. With every step she took, mysterious totems appeared and faded in the void.

Two Primordial Miko allies followed closely behind her, their expressions respectful.

Farther away, the earth began to tremble. Led by Damian, the entire Earth Dragon Clan was moving to the surface in a great procession, leaving the dark lower levels of the Abyss behind for good.

The most eye-catching figure was a young Swarm envoy. He bowed slightly and behaved with great restraint, keeping all his usual brutality under control.

The former ruler of the Swarm, Belith, had already been completely destroyed by the power of the law’s reformation.

Even the Demon Clan, once humanity’s greatest enemy, had sent an elderly Demon elder.

He leaned on a bone staff. The madness and greed that had once filled his eyes were gone. All that remained was the sincerity of a defeated man and his desperate desire to survive.

This was neither conquest nor surrender.

It was the natural result of Earth’s new law ecosystem.

After Earth completed its self-reorganization, its law network was no longer a closed defensive system. It had become an open ecosystem.

Any race could choose to live in harmony with Earth’s law network.

Not as parasites, but as partners.

Buzz—

The void rippled slightly. A young figure in a black robe appeared out of nowhere at the highest point of Celestial Imperial City.

It was Aiden.

He looked down at the representatives of the myriad races. Laws flowed through his twin-pupiled eyes, while a brilliant glow resembling a 10,000x Critical Hit flashed deep within them.

He was no longer merely an Intermediate God. He was also the living reflection of Earth’s entire law garden.

His will was Earth’s will.

"From this day forward, the Celestial Imperial City Pact shall be established."

Aiden’s voice was not loud, but it exploded like heavenly thunder deep within the souls of every being in the Abyss.

He raised one hand and pointed. Countless strands of law intertwined in the void, forming a golden scroll that radiated an immortal glow.

"First: No one may use Earth’s law network for parasitism or plunder in any form!"

"Second: Every race has the equal right to survive and evolve within the new law ecosystem!"

"Third: A Council of the Myriad Races shall be established. Representatives of every race will jointly decide all major matters concerning Earth’s ecosystem!"

"Sign it—or die."

Aiden’s words were short and sharp. They left no room for doubt.

Malcolm took a deep breath and was the first to place the Red Dwarves Clan’s spirit-fire mark on the golden scroll.

Rainn, Damian, the Swarm envoy, the Demon elder, and the other representatives of the myriad races followed. One after another, they offered their soul marks.

Boom!

The contract was sealed. Golden light sank into Earth’s law network. At that moment, the myriad races became fully linked to Earth in a symbiotic relationship.

After the meeting ended, Rainn stayed behind.

"Aiden, the other two Primordial Miko have accepted me as their leader."

Rainn looked at Aiden. Her beautiful eyes shimmered with a faint, barely noticeable warmth.

"After I revealed my complete Primordial Miko form, Winterhold’s Selwyn Family completely withdrew from the competition."

"From now on, the City of the Miko will no longer be part of the Abyss races. It will become one of Earth’s native races."

Aiden nodded slightly. "Good. The Great Shaw Empire will give you the protection you deserve."

At that moment, Malcolm, King of the Red Dwarves, strode over and handed Aiden a black scroll filled with the weight of countless years.

"Aiden, these are the old man Syed’s forging notes from his entire life. I’m giving them to you."

A relieved smile appeared on Malcolm’s rough face.

"From now on, the fire of the Red Dwarves won’t be used for war anymore."

"We’ll use it to build things."

Aiden took the scroll. His heart trembled slightly, and he gave Malcolm a firm pat on the shoulder.

Roar—

A young yet incredibly powerful dragon’s cry suddenly rang out.

Faye flew out from Aiden’s sleeve. As she rose into the wind, her body rapidly grew until she became a Heaven-Devouring Mystic Dragon that covered the sky!

Mythic Rank—Heaven-Devouring Mystic Dragon!

Her noble, massive body twisted through the clouds, releasing an overwhelming pressure that made every race tremble.

Damian’s face filled with excitement. He dropped to one knee.

"Your Majesty, the Earth Dragon Clan pays its respects!"

"From this day forward, the Earth Dragon Clan officially returns to the Dragon Clan!"

Faye raised her head and let out a dragon’s roar that pierced the soul.

"ROAR—!!!"

In an instant, all the dragons of the Earth Dragon Clan roared together. Their vast dragon aura became a solid golden wave of sound and shot straight into the sky!

The roar broke through Earth’s atmosphere and traveled through the vacuum of space at an unbelievable speed, reaching the edge of the Upper Universe!

Under the new law ecosystem, this was the first time the entire Dragon Clan had ever answered as one.

The roar slowly faded. Faye’s enormous body quickly shrank until she became a small golden dragon no bigger than a hand. She gently landed on Aiden’s shoulder.

She rubbed her little head against Aiden’s cheek, but her voice trembled slightly.

"Master... my father heard that roar."

Aiden froze.

"Your father? But wasn’t he..."

He remembered that Faye’s father—the Dragon Emperor who had once tried to lead the Dragon Clan against the Heavenly Demon—had already been killed by a single attack from the Heavenly Demon.

"Yes. He really is dead."

Faye sounded sad, but a strange light shone in her eyes.

"However, with the help of the laws of the universe, the Dragon Clan’s united roar can travel ten thousand times farther."

"The roar just now triggered an echo in the laws of the universe..."

"Before he died, my father left his final voice deep within those laws."

Aiden’s expression became extremely serious.

"What did he leave behind?"

Faye took a deep breath. In her young voice, she repeated the six words she had heard in the echo from the universe:

"The door is not... an exit."

"It is... an entrance."

...

The dragon’s roar had shaken the world, but its echo still lingered.

Three full days had passed since the representatives of the myriad races had come to Earth and Faye had triggered the echo of the universe.

Deep inside Celestial Imperial City, in a quiet secret chamber, a faint crimson ripple suddenly appeared in the void.

It was a law fluctuation unique to the Crimson Mosquito Clan. However, after being cleansed by Earth’s new laws, it now carried a purer, more primal aura.

Aiden sat quietly on a meditation cushion. A divine light flashed in his twin-pupiled eyes, instantly locking onto the source of the fluctuation.

"Master..."

With a slightly hoarse yet deeply seductive whisper, Irene, princess of the Crimson Mosquito Clan, slowly opened her eyes after months of sleep.

Her once-depleted Great Venerable aura began to rise rapidly. In the void, red light gathered and slowly formed blood-red lotuses.

"You’re awake," Aiden said calmly. His voice was quiet, but filled with unquestionable authority.

After standing up, Irene had no time to calm the surging power inside her. Her pretty face was filled with seriousness.

"Master, I dreamed of the Transmutation Altar."

"It reacted to the new law ecosystem. It is... actively searching for you."

Aiden rose to his feet, a sharp light flashing in his eyes.

The Demi-Sacred Artifact, the Transmutation Altar!

Without the slightest hesitation, he took Irene and Faye—who had transformed into a small golden dragon—and tore through the void.

In the Middle Abyss lay the former territory of the Swarm, once a forbidden zone for humanity.

Now, after the death of the Swarm’s ruler, Belith, and the signing of the Celestial Imperial City Pact, the entire region had fallen into silence and submission.

When Aiden and the other two arrived, countless powerful members of the Swarm immediately fell to the ground, trembling in fear.

Following Irene’s guidance, the three of them passed through an ancient ruin covered in a thick mist of laws.

At the center of the ruins stood a six-sided stone platform about three meters high.

The platform looked ancient and simple. Its surface was covered with countless law patterns that resembled the veins inside a human body. They gave off a faint but stubborn glow.

"This is the Transmutation Altar."

A feverish light flashed in Irene’s eyes as she looked at the platform.

"Its true purpose is neither war nor healing."

"It is law grafting."

"In the age of the old laws, Earth and the Abyss were incompatible, so the altar had no use."

"But under the new law ecosystem, it can build an everlasting bridge of laws between Earth and the Upper Universe!"

Aiden stepped forward and landed firmly in the center of the Transmutation Altar.

He closed his eyes and released all the power of an Intermediate God within him.

"Open, Law Garden!"

Boom!

A dazzling Law Garden suddenly unfolded behind Aiden. Countless streams of divine light intertwined and instantly resonated with the patterns on the Transmutation Altar.

Aiden remained there for the entire night.
