Chapter 386: The Truth of the System

Rainn’s voice continued, filled with deep awe and fear.

“He used his Inner Spirit as the vessel and the laws of the universe as the flame, turning that heaven-defying talent into an invisible, formless [system].”

“He then forced this [system] into the chaotic currents of space and time, letting it drift through endless dimensions of the universe.”

“It was searching… searching for a savior whose fate did not belong to this world, but who could carry his final will!”

Boom!!

It was as if a bolt of heavenly thunder had exploded directly inside Aiden’s Spirit sea.

The 10,000x Critical Hit System!

Monster drops, loot from kills, and even any action that gained resources could trigger critical hit rewards!

Wasn’t this exactly the purest and most ultimate form of the root talent [Hunter’s Echo], after all its impurities had been stripped away?!

So this was never some random transmigration or a free cheat from the heavens!

He had crossed space and time to arrive on Earth, awakened the 10,000x Critical Hit System, fought his way from The White City to the Sovereign City, and then forced his way into the Abyss…

And behind all of it was a shocking plan laid out by Yves, the strongest god of humanity, across tens of millions of years, using his own life as the price!

“Oh my God…” Cheryl covered her red lips, her beautiful eyes filled with shock.

She stared blankly at Aiden, who stood with his hands behind his back. Even her voice was trembling.

“So…Aiden, you are the final successor chosen by Yves?!”

“You are the destined variable who will bring everything to an end?!”

Faced with Cheryl’s cry of surprise, Aiden said nothing. The aura around him only grew deeper and more terrifying.

The bloody tears at the corners of Rainn’s eyes had already dried. She stared at the final lines of text floating in the air.

“The scroll also says that this special [system] has completely bound itself to the host’s soul.”

“As the host’s level rises, as their soul grows stronger, and as they one day touch the gods’ Force of Laws…”

“It will slowly unlock deeper powers of its origin, until it finally gains the supreme strength to devour the Heavenly of the universe!”

The moment Rainn finished reading the words, the majestic phantom let out a soft sigh of relief, one that seemed to echo across the ages. Then it vanished completely.

The underground palace fell into a dead silence once again.

Aiden stood quietly in place. The air around him twisted violently under the pressure he was releasing without even realizing it.

For a long time, he had always thought of the system as a natural cheat, something that simply belonged to him.

But today, the veil covering the truth had finally been torn away.

He had not come to this world to enjoy a second life in peace. He had come here because fate had chosen him to carry the life and death of an entire world on his shoulders.

He had to face the mad counterattack of the Abyss myriad races rank.

He had to face the cosmic Great Destruction, a disaster powerful enough to erase all gods.

This responsibility was so heavy that it could crush any level 99 Great Venerable.

And now, it had fallen coldly onto his shoulders.

Aiden slowly raised his head. The dark ceiling of the underground palace seemed to reflect the endless starry sky, and the suffocating weight of fate.

He remained silent for a full half minute.

Then Aiden suddenly turned his head and looked at Rainn, who was watching him with deep concern.

“Rainn.”

His voice was soft, but it carried a strange power that seemed to pierce the soul.

“Do you believe in fate?”

Rainn froze for a moment. A trace of surprise flashed across her stunning face.

She looked into Aiden’s dark eyes. They were calm like an ancient well, yet seemed to hide mountains of corpses and seas of blood.

She remembered how she had been trapped in the illusion, tortured and abused.

And she remembered how the man in front of her had shattered all of that falsehood with one punch, pulling her out of that hellish swamp by force.

Rainn took a deep breath. Her eyes became clearer and firmer than ever before.

“I don’t believe in fate.”

“But I believe in you.”

Those words were firm and powerful.

Beside her, Cheryl also nodded hard. Her eyes were red, and she clenched her small fists.”Aiden, no matter what it is—the Great Destruction or the Abyss Demon God—Cheryl will stay by your side no matter what!”

Hearing their answers, Aiden suddenly let out a low laugh.

At first, the laugh was quiet. Then it grew louder and louder, until it became a wild, proud laugh that shook the entire underground palace.

“Hahaha… Good! Very good!”

Aiden took a deep breath.

All the doubt and pressure in his eyes were cut apart by a fierce, fearless light.

Boom!!

A violent wave of Legendary Rank magic power shot into the sky.Golden Sunfire turned into a roaring fire dragon, spinning wildly around him!

“Yves’s will? A savior from some prophecy?”

“I, Aiden, don’t need to follow a script left behind by a dead man!”

He suddenly clenched his right fist.Even the space inside the underground palace cracked under his grip, making sharp snapping sounds as black cracks spread through the air.

“Since the system is mine now, then the rules of all worlds should be decided by me!”

“If the Great Destruction dares to come, I’ll cut down the Heavenly of the universe along with it!”

“If the Abyss myriad races rank dares to stand in my way, I’ll slaughter every Demon God in the sky!”

Aiden coldly swept his gaze across the void.He looked like a true peerless demon emperor descending into the mortal world.

His overbearing voice exploded through the depths of the Abyss.

“Whether it is salvation or destruction, my will is the only truth in this world!”

Aiden’s fearless declaration was still echoing through the depths of the underground palace when a sudden change happened!

Boom, boom, boom!

A deafening explosion erupted from outside the underground palace. The huge palace, built from Abyssal Black Gold, began to shake violently.

Countless stones fell from above. The once-silent underground space was instantly filled with wild waves of energy.

The Primordial Miko Eye on Rainn’s forehead suddenly opened, and a crimson light flashed wildly.

“What a thick dark aura!” Frost covered Rainn’s beautiful face, and her voice was filled with cold killing intent. “It’s the Crow Miko’s people!”

Aiden’s face remained calm. With a light swipe of his slender fingers, he put the dark-gold scroll that held humanity’s greatest secret into his system space.

“Focus.”

Aiden spoke calmly. A phantom of Golden Sunfire burned in his deep eyes.

“Get ready to welcome our guests.”

Bang!!

The already damaged Abyssal Black Gold stone door was completely blown apart by several terrifying dark spells.

Among the black stones flying through the air, dozens of dark figures rushed into the palace hall like ghosts, each one wrapped in a strong aura of death.

The leader wore a black feather robe, as dark as the night itself. Half of her face was covered by a hideous crow mask.

Behind her were six black-robed Miko, each giving off a lifeless aura, along with dozens of dark-element death warriors with empty eyes.

“So this is where you were hiding. I had quite a hard time finding you.”

A hoarse, sharp voice echoed through the underground palace. It sounded like a rusty saw scraping against bone, making people shiver.

The Crow Miko slowly raised her head. The only eye visible beneath her mask stared greedily at the Primordial Miko Crown above Rainn’s head.

“The fourteenth Crow Miko…” Rainn took a step forward, and the spiritual pressure of a level 90 Venerable burst out from her body. “You sinners betrayed our ancestors, and you still dare to show yourselves here!”

“Sinners? Hahaha…”The Crow Miko laughed wildly, as if she had heard the funniest joke in the world.

“Back then, what right did that fool, the thirteenth Primordial Miko, have to seal away my ancestor forever?!”

A huge wave of hatred erupted in the Crow Miko’s eye. The terrifying aura of a level 89 dark-element Venerable swept across the hall like a black tide.

“Our bloodline has been passed down for generations. We have hidden in the darkness all this time for one reason—to wash away the shame of that day!”

As her power burst out, the six black-robed death warriors behind her stepped forward at the same time.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Six powerful auras, all above level 80, shot into the air. Dark curse runes spread wildly beneath their feet.

“Hand over the Primordial Miko Crown, and that Battle Miko armor!”

A withered wooden staff appeared in the Crow Miko’s hand, wrapped in a ghostly green light. She pointed it straight at Rainn.

“Once I have them, I will be the true ruler of the Miko clan. I will fulfill our ancestor’s final wish!”

“The Miko clan was meant to protect the pure land of the Abyss for generations. Why would you side with Demons and betray your own people?!” Rainn demanded angrily.

“Protect? What a pathetic joke!” The Crow Miko sneered, her face full of contempt.

“In the Abyss, the strong eat the weak!”

“The Miko clan should be ruled by the strongest. Only absolute darkness and curses can lead us to survive among the myriad races rank!”

“Since you refuse to understand, then you and that foolish human boy can become dead souls under my staff!”

At that tense moment, with killing intent filling the air—

“Are you done?”

A cold voice, completely emotionless, suddenly cut off the Crow Miko’s rant.

Aiden had his hands in his pockets as he slowly walked out from behind Rainn.

His dark eyes were calm like the Abyss itself. It was as if the level 89 Venerable and the dozens of death warriors in front of him were nothing more than trash he could sweep away at any time.

“Aiden…” Rainn turned to look at him.

“Villains die because they talk too much. Heroes are no different.” Aiden tilted his head slightly, his voice sharp as a blade.

“They’ve already put a knife to your throat. Why waste words?”

A cold, cruel smile appeared on Aiden’s lips. At the tip of his right finger, a dazzling golden light suddenly lit up.

“Kill them all. Leave no one alive.”

Boom!!

His Legendary Rank passive skill, “Magic Mastery,” activated instantly. With just one sentence from Aiden, all the magic elements in the underground palace went completely wild.

The Origin Eye on Rainn’s forehead shot out a soul-shaking red light. She released the full power of a level 90 Venerable without holding anything back.

Cheryl raised her staff. Behind her, the dark phantom of a Battle Miko quietly appeared, its cold killing intent locking onto everyone in the hall.
