Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong

Chapter 3040 1660: The Lord's Plan (Part 2)

Leo Ray didn't bother with pleasantries with the other powerhouses and first looked at the dwarven warriors, saying: "Then I'm counting on you to lead the charge."

Among the top-ranked factions, dwarven warriors were undoubtedly the most adept at head-on combat.

"Leave it to us."

The Rock General patted his thick chest armor, a fervent smile breaking through his bearded face. Tunnel Dwarves never feared a strong enemy, regardless of the overwhelming odds.

The Secret Flame Duke also lifted his heavy hammer, looking equally undaunted. Among the Mountain Dwarves, strength defined status. Despite his noble title, he too is one of the bravest dwarf warriors!

Seeing the momentum of the two, the dwarven warriors were equally spirited, raising their battle axes or swinging their giant hammers.

At this moment, Leo Ray had already made complete arrangements for the team.

The dwarven warriors and robust independent powerhouses took the front line. Winged powerhouses and elves adept at melee were deployed on the two wings, other ranged powerhouses with Leo Ray at the center for support, and the last group took the rear guard.

Once deployment was complete, a gentle yet resilient force enveloped everyone present, like a spring breeze. This left the Secret Flame Duke, the Rock General, and the dwarven and winged powerhouses astounded.

The reason they'd made it this far was first due to the limited number of Parasites sent against them, having successfully seen through their traps early on.

Secondly, they carried more [Divine Stone]s than the elven powerhouses, but none among them were the Chosen Son of God, and so they could not share the power to resist "Corrosion".

Amidst their surprise, the dwarves and Winged quickly found the source of the power—it was undoubtedly Leo Ray.

Initially, they thought Leo Ray and the others would be no different, relying only on the holders of [Divine Stone] and the Stone Spirits to attack the opponents, while ordinary powerhouses would at most restrain other enemies.

But unexpectedly, with Leo Ray's power sharing, all the present powerhouses gained the power to resist "Corrosion", which was basically a qualitative leap in their combat power!

"No wonder those elven powerhouses trust Your Majesty of the Humans so much; this is exactly the power we need most."

Thinking this in their hearts, the dwarven and Winged powerhouses became increasingly elated.

Although this power wasn't uncommon in their respective factions, possessed by many epoch-spanning powerhouses and successors, its role here was undeniable!

"Charge!"

At Leo Ray's command, the powerhouses surged forward, closing the distance with the enemy in the blink of an eye.

"A bunch of dying ants, are still audacious enough to attack proactively. It's simply seeking death."

The commanding Parasite on the other side sneered disdainfully, their cruel face full of derision.

With a sweep of their hand, countless arrows shot forth, a barrage darkening the sky.

"Is that all you've got to throw at us? Do you underestimate us that much?"

The Rock General shouted, brandishing his giant axe to unleash a thick crescent slash wave, shattering the arrows into dust.

The Secret Flame Duke swung his heavy hammer, creating a hurricane that scattered the arrows uselessly to the ground.

The other leading dwarven warriors equally demonstrated their abilities, their robust bodies unleashing powerful energy, their wire-like beards dancing wildly in the forceful energy wind.

A split second after they shattered the arrow volley, the dwarf warriors hit the enemy lines like boulders hitting a still lake, causing waves of shock.

The Parasite soldiers who couldn't react in time were sent flying by the heavy hammers or were directly sliced in half by the sharp giant axes: a sight truly stirring.

"No wonder they're called dwarven warriors; their close-combat destruction is at Berserker Level."

Leo Ray nodded slightly, leading other powerhouses into the fray.

"Your Majesty of the Humans, leave the wings to us!"

Aaron, slicing with his long sword hundreds of times over, nodded solemnly at Leo Ray.

As soon as they entered the enemy lines, our forces on the wings, led by the Winged, began pushing the left and right flanks.

Wherever the swift sword lights flashed, the grim Parasite soldiers couldn't even launch an attack before they fell, disintegrating into a stinking mess, leaving only their armor.

Those Parasite soldiers were merely of Tier 6, and it was no surprise they were torn apart by the onslaught led by our Demigods.

With the rapid advance of the frontline dwarves and the wing powerhouses, the clearing where we stood grew larger. Everything seemed to proceed according to plan.

"Just a bit more space, and we can move to the next step of the plan."

Leo Ray instructed the ranged powerhouses to support the advancing combatants, all while calculating in his mind.

However, soon after, our forces finding themselves unstoppable gradually slowed, entering a bitter struggle.

After the initial battle, the cunning enemy quickly gathered many Demigod and Half-step Tier 7 Parasites. Plus, as we advanced, our initially dense lines inevitably thinned, piling more pressure on our powerhouses.

"Heh, a bunch of ants. Although I don't know your intentions, you're simply overreaching yourselves!"

The leading Parasite soon realized our intentions, the crystal cluster-covered face growing even more menacing.

Under their command, more Demigod Parasites and Half-step Tier 7 Parasites arrived, bursting forth with towering killing intent at our powerhouses.

Mind you, we had barely over five hundred powerhouses, while they boasted five entire Legions—a staggering hundredfold disparity.

"Don't think this is enough to disrupt our advance!"

The Secret Flame Duke hammered down a Demigod Parasite with mighty force, but another struck from his blind spot as he was caught off guard.

Just then, an equally robust yet astonishingly agile figure appeared, wielding a sharp blade that easily fended off the attacker.

This figure, a Stone Spirit with a dwarf's appearance yet agile movement, was without a doubt the Secret Flame Duke's Stone Spirit.

Just like the Stone Spirits under Leo Ray, these spirits could communicate with [Divine Stone] holders mentally, serving as their closest battle partners, making their cooperation seamless.

Because of this, the Secret Flame Duke and other dwarven warriors, as well as Aaron and the Winged powerhouses, had successfully made it this far. Meanwhile, Helena and the Elf powerhouses, despite cooperating well with the Stone Spirits, had avoided conflict due to the lack of their numbers against many Parasites, until they met Leo Ray.

Nonetheless, as more Parasite leaders joined the fray, even our tight cooperation with the Stone Spirits was soon pushed to an impasse reminiscent of Helena's earlier struggles.

It wasn't until Leo Ray dispatched the Alchemy Puppets equipped with the Divine Stone weapons that the frontline pressure eased slightly.

"We've pushed this far already, is Your Majesty of the Humans' plan still not ready?"

The Rock General gasped as he fended off a Demigod Parasite.

All around him, many dwarven warriors were fighting with injuries, appearing battered.

Similarly, the Secret Flame Duke on one side and Aaron and the Winged powerhouses on the wings, though feeling the brunt of the fight, couldn't help but show skepticism.

Despite the increasingly unfavorable situation, they continued to press forward. Was this truly viable?

"The time has come!"

As doubt and unease peaked in their hearts, Leo Ray seized the moment, with a grand gesture, a colossal structure rose from the recently cleared ground!
