Chapter 282: Chapter 147: Liu Jinyu, Su Ran, Xiao Wanqing

"...Just regular skincare products, nothing fancy. I do feel like my skin has gotten fairer than before..." Liu Jinyu lay on her stomach on the lounge chair, chatting with Aina on the chair next to her about skincare tips while enjoying her ’little brother’s’ attentive application of sunscreen. "...It’s probably because of the beauty supplements I’ve been taking at home lately..."

Pfft~

Su Ran couldn’t help but let out a laugh. He immediately stifled it when Sister Jinyu shot him a glare. ’She really did get fairer skin from beauty products,’ he thought. ’Wait, no, they’re called ’oral solutions’ and ’injectables’.’

Su Ran gazed at Aina’s face, with its exotic Western Regions features. It wasn’t just pretty—it was stunning.

"Aina, your skin is already great. You don’t need to be any fairer."

"No way! How could I, Aina, lose to that shameless hussy Liu Jinyu when it comes to skin? I have to be fairer than her! Su Ran, hurry up and finish with her, then come put sunscreen on me. I can’t get a tan."

"Just wait, I’ll cover all of you, head to toe."

"Hah, you seem a little too happy to be doing this, don’t you?"

Su Ran looked at the other three bikini-clad beauties on their lounge chairs, looking like they were eagerly waiting their turn. He smiled and said, "I’m just happy to be putting sunscreen on you all."

"Fine..." Aina unwrapped a dried yogurt snack and popped it into her mouth. She crossed one long, straight leg over the other, creating an elegant curve, and said, "Then hurry up and come put some on me."

"Hold on, I’m not done with my Sister Jinyu’s long legs yet."

"Hehehe... You’re such a good little brother," Liu Jinyu whispered, leaning in close with a warning. "I’m giving you a perk, so don’t you go getting any funny ideas with those fingers of yours." She shot him a look that clearly meant, ’No funny business here. Endure it. I’ll unlock your real reward tonight.’

’Man, I love mature women,’ he thought. ’Sophisticated in public, and absolutely wild in private.’

Er...

Su Ran was a smart guy, not an idiot. They were acting way too calm today, being far too nice to him, especially Liu Jinyu and Xiao Wanqing. It wasn’t right. He figured tonight wouldn’t be so simple; he was definitely going to be interrogated by the two sisters.

If it weren’t for cheering up Xie Yiren, Su Ran never would have let them all get together during winter break—especially not Liu Jinyu and Xiao Wanqing, two women he was involved with. ’Ugh, I might just get thrown into the sea to feed the sharks tonight.’

For now, Su Ran would be as obedient and considerate as possible. Maybe then his death tonight would be a little less painful.

’Right now, I’m putting sunscreen on four women in bikinis,’ he thought. ’Hmm, I guess this is my last request before execution?’

Not overthinking it, he squeezed sunscreen onto their bodies and simply got to rubbing.

"All done."

Su Ran patted Liu Jinyu’s peachy bottom.

"Mm."

Liu Jinyu nodded with the air of a big sister, saying nothing as she enjoyed the sunbath.

Next up, Aina.

SMACK. He gave her butt a light slap, making it jiggle.

"Don’t stick your butt out. Lie down properly."

To be honest, while this was the first time Su Ran had put sunscreen on them, they had done spa treatments together countless times before, so he was quite adept at it. He didn’t deliberately touch any forbidden zones, just applied it normally. The four of them were long used to it and didn’t think anything of it.

Different girls have different body types, and naturally, they feel different to the touch. Aina’s skin was very soft; she was a genuine softie, through and through.

As Su Ran applied the lotion, she thoughtfully offered him her coconut milk, and he took a couple of sips.

"What are you thinking about?"

Su Ran looked at Xie Yiren, who was staring blankly beside them.

"Oh, nothing." Xie Yiren forced a smile. Even though everyone had gathered to help her through this, she didn’t want her mood to affect them.

"If something’s on your mind, just say it. Don’t keep it bottled up," said Xiao Wanqing, who was on the far right. Her gaze, however, was fixed on Su Ran. He gave an awkward laugh, inwardly panicking. "Sister Wanqing is right. If something’s bothering you, just tell us."

Xiao Wanqing went "Tch..." and, like Liu Jinyu, said no more. She was just playing on her phone. Su Ran glanced back at Liu Jinyu. Were the two of them chatting with each other?

"What are you two talking about?" Su Ran asked curiously.

"This is sisters’ business. Little brothers should stay out of it."

Xiao Wanqing and Liu Jinyu covered their phones and spoke in unison. They glanced at each other and snickered.

"Okay, I’ll stay out of it. So, Yiren, go ahead. What’s on your mind?"

Xie Yiren sat up, draping a silk scarf over her shoulders. Su Ran’s eyes were fixed on her, his gaze uncontrollably drifting from her cherubic face down to her massive chest, then back to her face, only to be drawn back down to her chest again. ’Sigh... at the end of the day, men just crave a mother’s love.’

Xie Yiren tilted her head, staring at Su Ran with a smirk. Su Ran immediately averted his eyes to Aina’s thigh and continued rubbing.

Xie Yiren smiled and said, "I was just thinking... am I an orphan now? Ah Weng is dead, the previous Saintess was my mom... but what about my dad? Who are his family? What’s their last name? Where do they live? I have no idea."

Xie Song had always told Xie Yiren that her parents were dead and that he had raised her since she was a child. It was as simple as that. But after what happened that night, she knew that wasn’t the case. Now, she desperately wanted to understand her own background and find out where her other relatives in this world were.

Su Ran walked over and sat down, patting her shoulder comfortingly. "Don’t worry, I’ve already asked President Qi to ask the Second Elder for you. He’ll let me know as soon as there’s any news. And speaking of finding relatives, I’ve also been helping Uncle Qin from my village look for his family recently. I hope we can find your relatives and his."

"Mm," Xie Yiren nodded, forcing a smile that held little hope. "Actually, even if I can’t find my family, having a group of good friends like you all is more than enough for me."
