The Evernight Realm Conquest Division was one of the most active divisions within the entire Sanctuary, as its responsibilities were enormous, including discovering secret realms.

Not only that, but it was also responsible for recording their spatial fluctuations, establishing Realm Gateways, sending exploration teams, organizing conquest operations, maintaining conquered realms, and monitoring the stability of every Realm Gateway.

Most importantly, it ensured that every secret realm under the Evernight Council’s control remained accessible while preventing those connections from becoming a threat to the Sanctuary.

After all, the Evernight Council could not afford to leave its Realm Gateways unguarded, for every Gateway represented a connection to another world, which means a weakness; a potential invasion route. But all things aside, it was also an enormous opportunity.

The Realm Conquest Division therefore maintained many Realm Gateways throughout the Sanctuary, as some connected to conquered secret realms, others to resource-rich worlds, and others to ancient ruins.

Some led to secret and dangerous regions that even Evernight Council members were forbidden from entering without sufficient authority.

The division also served another important purpose: allowing members of the Evernight Sanctuary to enter those secret realms.

After all, the Sanctuary possessed countless cultivation geniuses, ancient treasures, and dangerous training grounds.

But even the Evernight Council couldn’t possess everything because some secret realms contained unique Laws, some contained ancient remnants with unclaimed law inheritances, and some contained resources that couldn’t be found anywhere within the Sanctuary.

Moreover, some were simply dangerous training grounds where cultivators could temper themselves through life-and-death experiences.

Therefore, as long as a member possessed enough Evernight Coins, they could apply for permission to enter one of the Council’s controlled secret realms.

Evernight Coins were a special currency circulated within the Sanctuary.

The Evernight Coins were made with the combination of Tier-6 Abyss Gems and Abyssal Crystal Lattices. They were combined using a secret technique of the Evernight Maker Sanctuary and carved with secret arrays to ensure no one could counterfeit them.

Not only could the Evernight Coins be exchanged for cultivation resources, inheritances, information, entry permissions, treasures, and countless other privileges, but they could also be used to cultivate, as each one of them carries a dense and refined Abyssal Qi, even helpful for an Abyssal Lord.

Anyhow, Evernight Coins were also for entering a secret realm, and it was one of the more expensive privileges.

Every Realm Gateway required maintenance and monitoring, not to mention that every expedition consumed resources, and some realms were dangerous enough that even the Council had to maintain strict restrictions.

Thus, the Realm Conquest Division was one of the most important organizations within the Evernight Sanctuary, and it was also one of the busiest.

Scattered throughout the region were enormous Realm Gateways; some were dormant, some glowed faintly, and some were constantly monitored by hundreds of Abyssal Rune Crafters of the Evernight Sanctuary.

Some were so ancient that even the Half-Abyssal Kings responsible for this division treated them with extreme caution.

At the heart of the region stood an enormous black palace, and its walls were covered in countless spatial runes. Above its entrance were three ancient characters.

"EVERNIGHT REALM CONQUEST!"

Inside, many figures moved between formation platforms, commands echoed, formation arrays flashed, records were being updated, spatial fluctuations were being analyzed, and numerous Realm Gateways were constantly being monitored.

The division was chaotic, but it was an organized chaos.

At the very center of the enormous control hall stood a tall fiend wearing a dark robe. His violet head was bald, with a pair of slightly twisted horns, and a unique black marking covering half of his violet skin.

His fiendish face was thin, while his violet infernal eyes were deep, and a profound spatial aura surrounded his body.

He was a Half-Abyssal King, one of the hidden powers of the Evernight Council: Count-Duke Finedloin!

He was one of the current three Vice Masters responsible for the Evernight Realm Conquest Division.

For countless years, Finedloin had remained in the Sanctuary, and he rarely appeared outside, let alone participated in external conflicts.

Yet his name was known among the higher echelons of the Council because if anything happened to the Realm Gateways, he was responsible.

At this moment, Finedloin stood before an enormous formation projection, and hundreds of Realm Gateways appeared within it. Some were stable, some were fluctuating, some were temporarily closed, and some were marked with warning symbols.

But for some reason, his gaze was fixed on a peculiar realm gateway, and his expression was both solemn and agitated.

When Finedloin heard that news, even he couldn’t fully believe it, but the harbinger of news was none other than the Division Master of the Evernight Realm Conquest Division, the Midnight Duke!
