Eternal Life Starts from Tai Chi

Chapter 574 - 558: I’ll Remember You, Mo Family Divine Power Puppet

Many people are utterly ordinary. They blend into a crowd, impossible to pick out. They’re just common folk, the vast majority of the teeming masses.

But some people are the opposite, standing out and shining brightly even in a crowd. These are the prodigies, destined to be the favored children of Heaven.

The Saint Sons and Saintesses of the various Holy Lands are all such individuals, their futures holding infinite possibilities.

Yang Chan, however, had no desire to be one of these favored children. He only wanted to achieve eternal life, to be invincible for all time, to sit by the river of time and watch the teeming masses strive for transcendence.

Therefore, until he reached that stage, he naturally had to be an ordinary person and go with the flow.

The talent he displayed was worthy of nurturing, but not so outstanding as to draw too much attention.

He never expected, however, that a single sentence from him would cause the Merak Saintess to remember his name.

’Cautious. How interesting.’

The Merak Saintess smiled faintly and thought to herself.

She had seen countless people fight tooth and nail over opportunities. This "cautious" approach was truly rare, unless it came from someone old, with no potential left, who had lost all ambition.

But for someone as young as Yang Chan, who had already become an Intermediate Pharmacist, to have such a mentality was very unusual.

Still, people like that usually lived for a very long time.

Sometimes, just living a long time was a talent in itself.

Some people had outstanding talent but died young, ultimately amounting to nothing. In contrast, those who lived long might be the ones to have the last laugh.

’Yang Chan, I’ll remember you.’

After a glance at Yang Chan’s retreating back, the Merak Saintess continued on her way at an unhurried pace.

A Bone Marrow Cleansing Grandmaster could move very quickly, but the Merak Saintess and her group were in no rush. This surprised Yang Chan.

He had originally expected the Merak Saintess and her group to rush toward the Solitary Void Trial Array, enter it, and seize their opportunities, not travel so leisurely.

’Some people are truly hard to figure out,’ he thought. But Yang Chan wasn’t anxious either. After all, he was just a Pharmacist with an External Refining Steel body.

His Martial Arts Cultivation was ordinary; his only notable talent was in being a Pharmacist.

Only when Yang Chan and the others arrived before the Solitary Void Trial Array did he finally understand why they had been so unconcerned.

The path ahead was blocked by several Magic Arrays. The direct route to the Solitary Void Trial Array had been destroyed, so to proceed, they had no choice but to break through the arrays in their way.

The Merak Saintess and her group hadn’t been in a hurry because other, closer powers were already working together to break the Magic Arrays, all aiming to enter the Trial Land as quickly as possible.

As for who had caused the destruction, it was easy to guess: the Celestial Sword Sect had acted, their goal obviously being to get a head start.

The Merak Saintess was clearly aware of the situation, which was why she wasn’t worried. They would have to break through these Magic Arrays upon arrival anyway.

If they were already behind schedule, accelerating now wouldn’t help. If they were on time, they could still catch up regardless.

Besides, some opportunities couldn’t be obtained simply by being one step ahead of everyone else.

When Yang Chan’s group arrived, they didn’t go directly to the Solitary Void Trial Array. Instead, they joined the combined forces to help break the arrays.

This greatly increased the efficiency and speed of their efforts.

Yang Chan saw one powerful faction after another: the Celestial Wind Imperial Dynasty, the Great Zhou Imperial Dynasty, the Thousand Seas Realm, the Glacier Snow Country, the Rising Sun Empire, the Supreme Sect, the Celestial Fragrance Sect, the Purple Mansion Sacred Land, and the Myriad Beasts Dao, among other mighty powers.

These were either Holy Lands and major sects or powerful Imperial Dynasties. It seemed that basically every major power was now present within the Purple Void Secret Realm.

This was the first time Yang Chan had ever seen so many factions gathered in one place. Every single one of them was an existence that could annihilate the Cyan Yuan Sect with ease.

Among these powers, the Cyan Yuan Sect was utterly insignificant.

An overlord of a single province was nothing before these mighty factions; the difference in strength was simply too vast.

For instance, the upper limit of the Cyan Yuan Sect’s Combat Power was probably on par with a mere disciple from a Holy Land. There was simply no comparison.

Some Sects from the Great Zhou and Celestial Wind Imperial Dynasties had also come to the Purple Void Secret Realm, but they could only search for opportunities on the periphery. Alternatively, as Affiliated Forces of the Holy Lands, they could tag along, but the opportunities available to them were few.

However, with so many factions working together, it didn’t take long to break through these large, obstructive Magic Arrays. They arrived before the Super Array only two days behind the Celestial Sword Sect.

The Grand Array spanned several thousand meters, its sheer scale terrifying. No one knew its depth, as it was impossible to reach its rear.

A five-colored curtain of light hung over the Array, completely obscuring the situation within. However, the fluctuations of aura coming from it were enough to deter anyone from trying to force their way through.

The entrance to the Array had been opened by the Celestial Sword Sect. It had taken them a full day to do so, which meant that even though they had a head start, it was only by a single day.

The reason everyone knew these details was that the members of the Celestial Sword Sect who had been left behind outside the Array had told them.

The Celestial Sword Sect naturally wanted to get a head start, but they had no desire to provoke all the other factions. After all, these were all major powers at the Level of Holy Lands and Imperial Dynasties. Even with a Martial Saint holding the fort, the Celestial Sword Sect wouldn’t dare to antagonize so many powerful groups at once.

These members who stayed behind were tasked with sharing information about the Solitary Void Trial Array, partly as a way to appease the anger of the other major powers.

After all, no one would pass up a chance to get a head start.

The entrance to the Array of Solitary Void was several hundred meters wide, like a colossal gate that reached for the heavens, soaring straight into the sky.
