Chapter 3885: One to Another

The Worldly Laws then lasted for 2 more hours on the outside, or 30 hours inside the platform.

While that was a short time, those 2 hours were the best Alex had ever cultivated since the day he brought on the Heavenly Principles. With the strength of the True Water Dao, the speed at which Alex ended up cultivating was far faster than anything else he had done until now.

A single hour of cultivation inside the platform was equivalent to nearly 3 weeks of regular cultivation. In those 30 hours, he ended up cultivating nearly 2 years’ worth.

With the previous 6 hours of cultivation, Alex had cultivated the equivalent of 4 years in a single day.

Even when the Worldly Laws retreated, they left behind enough aura for him to cultivate for some time longer, but since there was no replenishment to that Energy, Alex ended up using it all in no time.

When that was all gone, all Alex was left with was a pitiful amount of Qi in his surroundings and the understanding of all available Water Daos, as he had finally learned the True Water Dao. There was a sense of satisfaction to it all present in him at that moment. After all, learning a True Dao was an incredible feat for everyone.

The last time Alex had learned a True Dao was the Metal Dao back when he was still in the 3rd Major Spirit World, and that was long before he became an Immortal. And now, he had gotten his third one.

’It’s been a year since I stopped cultivating to learn the Daos. Now, I’ve gained as much cultivation as I would’ve had if I had continued for 3 more years,’ Alex thought. ’If I can keep doing that, it would be great, but I don’t think there’s any other Dao that I can learn as easily as this.’

That was the issue Alex had now stumbled upon again. He could try and learn a new Dao, but unless he was learning a strong Dao, it wouldn’t allow him to bring down the Worldly Laws for long enough that he could cultivate with them without it being a waste of time.

’But then again, what choice do I have?’ Alex thought. ’All I can do is either this or simply keep eating more beast cores to help cultivate.’

Alex didn’t like either option, but the situation forced his hand to choose one. For now, he chose to continue with the beast cores. The Sunhearts took no more than a few days to infect the beast cores, at which point Alex could easily consume them and continue his cultivation.

It hurt him to waste beast cores like this, but he still did the best he could with the situation and cultivated to the best of his capacity. While he cultivated that way, Alex thought of other Daos he was close to learning.

There was the Dao of Heaviness that accompanied the Dao of Gravity, though learning it might take longer than he wanted and be more of a waste.

There were the Daos of Space and Time that he had gotten closer to learning throughout his time absorbing the Voidgates, but at the speed at which he learned them, it would take years to properly learn all of those Daos. While the Daos themselves would be worth the time, his cultivation base would not improve at all. And that was his main focus for now.

There were several Daos of Wood and Daos of Earth he could try, as well as the Dao of Yin that he could give a shot. But the one that kept pulling Alex’s attention toward it was the Dao of Yang.

Yin and Yang Daos were incredibly difficult to learn, and the fact that he had only learned two Yang Daos at all was quite impressive in and of itself. However, as the Sun God, those two were far from being enough. He needed to learn more.

Alex wasn’t sure how much the Fire God had learned in regard to Yang, but it was bound to be more than just 2, surely. As such, Alex had to try and learn more as well.

As for how he was going to do that, before Alex even had to come to a decision, he was already doing it to begin with.

The beast cores he ate, which were infected by the Sunhearts, created intense Yang Energy that he consumed and learned from constantly. Of the Nine Yang Daos, Alex began with the auras that were given off most intensely by the cores he ate.

Those happened to be an aura of destruction, as well as an aura related to emission and heat.

It took Alex a short while to realize which of the Nine Yang Daos those auras belonged to.

They were the Dao of Purging and the Dao of Radiance.

The Dao of Purging referred to the destructive property of Yang and its ability to destroy anything and everything. Though, from the perspective of the aura itself, it was more so an ability to cleanse something or remove all that was bad.

Alex’s own body had this property, as it removed anything and everything his body deemed foreign and harmful to him. It cleansed everything that was harmful, leaving behind regular Energy that he could instead use.

It was this property of the sun that made it impossible to travel in outer space as well. The sun purged all properties from Qi, reducing it to a point where it was unusable. It was an incredible Dao.

The Dao of Radiance was the outward emission of light, aura, and presence. It was through this Dao that the sun managed to give away its powerful auras to all worlds despite the distance between them.

Both the Dao of Radiance and the Dao of Purging were incredible Daos, which Alex was more than looking forward to learning about. And to help with that, he brought out that which contained all Nine Yang auras at the same time.
