Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3403: The Three Continents

Chapter 3403: The Three Continents

Learning that Flamestride was one of the Beast God’s bonded beasts was enough to answer a few of Alex’s questions.

Most importantly, his master had successfully convinced the Beast God to protect him instead of sending him to the Storm God. He couldn’t help but wonder what she had done to make that happen.

Had she threatened the woman to do this, or had she somehow managed to pull her to their side using words alone?

’Senior Grimsight was holding his own against her, so she isn’t that strong, right? She’s one of those gods that gained their title on the basis of their profession rather than their cultivation,’ Alex thought as he remembered the past.

However, after a few seconds, he changed his mind. ’No, I can’t use Senior Grimsight as a basis for any judgment. He’s far too strong to be compared to a normal Divinity. The Beast God is strong. She’s just not in the Celestial realm.’

As Alex was lost in his own thoughts, he looked back up to see Flamestride staring at him with a very curious look.

“Is something wrong, Senior?” Alex asked.

“No. Not wrong,” the man said slowly. “I was just curious about something, but I have to be clearly wrong, so ignore me.”

Alex wondered what had caused the man to show such a reaction. Was it something about his face?

’No, it’s probably about my aura,’ Alex thought. Had the horse noticed his new aura as the Sun God?

Alex didn’t ask the man. With something so important, he had planned on asking his master if it would be right to start calling himself a god or not, or if that would somehow offend the existing 33 gods of the Human realm.

If he were to be honest, he wouldn’t mind offending any of the 33 gods, but until he was strong enough, he didn’t want to invite any more trouble than he already had.

“Where are we right now?” Alex asked as they passed the prairie and entered a settled tropical region.

“This whole area is called the Southern Tropics. Up ahead, we’ll go beyond the Icefox Mountain Range and arrive at a place called the Beast Capital, which is where Mother’s palace is.”

“I see,” Alex said, wondering if he could ask why he called her Mother instead of anything else. Would that be too insensitive?

He had met a decent number of people who had beast companions, but never had that been anything other than master and servant, friends, or like him, brothers and sisters.

That too he would have to ask his master.

“What is this continent called?” Alex asked.

“The continent is called the Holy Beast Continent, or just the Beast Continent,” Flamestride said. “Is this your first time in the Sacred Lotus Dominion?”

“I came from a lower realm, Senior. It would be my first time in almost every Immortal realm,” Alex said.

“Really?” the man asked, somewhat surprised. “Well, the Sacred Lotus Dominion has three continents. Two large ones in the east and the west, and a tiny island continent separating the two. The Holy Beast Continent is in the east. The one in the middle is called the Jade Lotus Continent, and the one in the west is called the Drunken Spirit Continent.”

“Drunken Spirit?” Alex asked with a light chuckle. “Who named it that?”

“The Wine God did,” Flamestride said seriously. “It’s where he lives, so we also call it the Wine Continent.”

“Oh… right,” Alex said as his laughter vanished. He had known the Wine God would be here too, just not that he would have an entire continent to himself.

“I heard the Wine God was more scholarly and didn’t like involving himself in war or politics. Such a person as him has a continent to himself?”

Flamestride snickered. “Don’t let some simple descriptions of the man delude you into thinking he’s a nobody. Not everyone has the capacity to become a god.”

Alex blinked for a moment before nodding quickly. “Of course. Of course.”

Flamestride focused ahead for a bit before turning toward Pearl and Scarlet.

“May I ask if you two are just with him, or if you are bonded to him?” he asked.

“We’re bonded,” Scarlet answered.

“Really?” he asked, quite surprised. “So far as I’m aware, it is very difficult to bond with a Heavenly Beast. Not only do they have their own pride, but the bond also tends to fail most of the time. How did you two come about bonding with him?”

“We were newborns when he found us and thus unwise. Now we’re stuck with him,” Scarlet said.

“True. I don’t even remember what happened back then,” Pearl added.

Whisker looked at the other two before joining in. “I wasn’t even born when he bonded with me.”

Flamestride’s face held an awkward look. “Re-really?”

Alex glared at the three beasts. “Come on! Don’t make me sound bad.”

Scarlet stuck her tongue out. “We’re joking,” she said quickly. “We initiated the binding in the first place. Although, we did so while we were young, so maybe that is the reason why we succeeded? Although, there is another reason.”

She turned toward Alex, letting him take the lead on that.

“We can talk about it after we reach the palace, can’t we?” Alex asked. “We’re already at the mountains.”

Flamestride looked ahead and nodded. He could see the mountains, and not long after that would be the Beast Capital.

There were no more conversations after that, so the group remained silent as the ship took them to their destination.

Past a multitude of cities and settlements, they finally arrived at a city with massive towering structures, with all sorts of beasts flying all around.

There were as many beasts as there were humans in this place, making Alex wonder for a moment if he had ever left the beast realms in the first place.

“This is the Beast Capital, the nexus point of the Holy Beast Continent,” Flamestride said. “Home to our Mother, the Beast God.”
