Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3360 Tidesweep

Chapter 3360 Tidesweep

Alex used his Sword Domain, causing sparks of Qi to fly all around him in a sphere, seemingly capable of cutting through anything and everything. His Sword Domain was slightly different than a regular swordsman’s, mostly in the fact that this Sword Domain wasn’t exactly his actual Sword Domain, but rather an emulation of one created through his Sword Heart.

Only he understood that, however, and to anyone looking at it from the outside, it was virtually indistinguishable, so there was no harm in showing it.

“Strike me with those threads again. It will be easier to explain what a Sword Domain is that way.”

Deathrime was still very much in a state of awe from the previous incident, but he quickly grabbed hold of himself and did as asked.

White, silk-like threads made of pure Ice energy coalesced around the dragon’s talons as he swung them in Alex’s direction.

Alex watched the incoming attack, doing nothing himself, but relying entirely on the domain. When the ice threads reached him, the Sword Qi inside the domain immediately gathered before him, destroying the ends of the threads.

Deathrime stared in surprise, unable to believe how easily his frost silks were being dismantled. He continued attacking, but it simply didn’t work. There was seemingly an unending amount of Sword Domain for Alex to use, from the looks of it.

In the end, the dragon could only give up.

“Would you mind returning to the stands and letting someone else have a go at this?” Alex asked the dragon.

Deathrime nodded. “Thank you for the lesson,” he said before returning.

Ashenfog took a moment to react. He too had been quite shocked by Alex’s Sword Domain, as any individual in the Immortal realm with a proper Sword Domain had to be a prodigy with the sword.

He couldn’t imagine that his grand uncle had brought home a human because of his sword skills, so this was something even his grand uncle didn’t know about. He kept those thoughts to himself and called another dragon to come forward.

This time, he called a slightly stronger one, who would hopefully be capable of contending against Alex.

At the Immortal Spirit 2nd realm, Tidesweep believed himself to be a bit too strong for Alex.

Alex was definitely stronger than he looked, but compared to Tidesweep, he could only fall a little behind.

“Greetings, human,” the dragon said as he landed on stage. “If we are to fight fairly, I should let you know that I have a battle power of 3. I am a little too strong for you, so I will be using the restricting formation.”

Alex raised an eyebrow. “I can’t lie, even with my battle power, you have certainly beaten me in a fight of cultivation base,” he said.

“That’s right,” Tidesweep said. “As such, I will be-“

“But you’re already forgetting my first lesson,” Alex said. “Humans are unpredictable. You don’t know what they can or cannot do. You cannot underestimate someone just because they are weaker than you.”

“But…” the dragon hesitated. “How would it be a lesson? Do I just let you hit me?”

Alex chuckled and turned toward the stands. “Pearl, can you come here? I need you to fight this one.”

Pearl was slightly taken aback, but he didn’t waste any time arriving atop the arena. Many of the dragons hadn’t noticed Pearl’s presence,

so when he finally landed there, all eyes turned on him.

The dragons had known about the White Tiger being there, but… was this really a White Tiger? What was up with the jagged blue stripes all across his body? That certainly didn’t belong to a tiger at all.

Ashenfog was slightly in the know about Pearl. As his grand uncle had explained, Pearl was the first descendant of a White Tiger and an Azure Dragon, giving him a combination of bloodlines where either one could have made someone powerful.

He looked toward Tidesweep, understanding that the junior couldn’t even begin to imagine what sort of bloodline his next opponent would

have.

“Transform. They are here to train against a human,” Alex said, and Pearl quickly changed.

He had long, flowing golden hair with a white robe covered in blue, stripe-like marks left by several lightning strikes.

Alex turned toward Tidesweep. “Since you seem to believe strength is all that’s necessary, I will let you fight Pearl here. While you are correct that strength is important, it is not all.”

With a simple gesture, blood pooled out of Alex’s body, taking a long and thin shape until it took the form of a simple spear. “Use this,” he said, handing it over to Pearl.

Pearl grabbed hold of the spear, weighing it and checking its balance. It wasn’t that great a spear, but it wasn’t bad at all.

“Don’t use any of your beast skills unless you have to,” Alex told Pearl. “Fight like you are a human.”

Pearl nodded.

Alex turned toward Tidesweep and then toward the stands. “The first one to hit the other three times wins the match. Does anyone have

any questions?”

“I do,” Tidesweep said. “If he isn’t using his skills, then what is he

doing? Unless he has a battle power of 15, he isn’t winning this.”

Alex explained. “He isn’t using his beast skills because that would make things far too simple.”

Tidesweep narrowed his eyes, clearly doubtful.

Alex shrugged and turned to Pearl. “Alright, just for once, use whatever you can to win. You just need to hit him once.”

Pearl nodded.

Alex turned back to Tidesweep. “You ready?”

Tidesweep nodded.

“Then start.”

The moment Alex gave the go-ahead, Tidesweep’s body glowed with a

bright blue light as it took the shape of a dragon. It formed into a

giant ice dragon that flew toward Pearl.

Before it could land, however, Pearl disappeared from where he stood

and arrived right next to the dragon.

Before the dragon could react, he lightly struck the side of the

dragon’s body with just enough power to knock him backward.

Pearl returned to his spot.

“Do you want to continue like this twice more, or can we continue

our way?”
