Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3000: Scarlet

Chapter 3000: Scarlet

“Oh my god! You’re finally here!”

Scarlet screamed in happiness when she saw the three. She flew out of her room the moment the door opened, taking all three into her embrace.

Alex felt the warmth of her fiery body and embraced her back.

“Sister!” Whisker cried out as he climbed onto her and hugged her neck.

Pearl smiled brightly as well, happy that the four were finally together.

Scarlet kept them in her embrace for a while before finally letting go. “What took you guys so long? I heard you came here months ago.”

“We did, but we had some things to do before we could come find you,” Alex said.

“More important than me?” she asked with a pout.

“Well, we’ll leave you to decide that,” Alex said. “I had to wait for my Master to go through her Immortal Tribulation. Pearl had to talk to the White Tiger Patriarch, and then he had to go to the Azure Dragon Palace to talk to the other Patriarch. Those three pretty much took all of our time.”

Scarlet paused for a moment. “Okay, maybe it was more important,” she said. “But wait, your Master?”

Alex smiled. “We have so much to catch up on.” For more chapters visit N0velFire.et

Scarlet let Alex and the rest into her room where they could chat freely. She then turned to her grandfather and bowed. “Thank you for saving him from Mother. Was she going to kill him?” she asked.

Feng Ningzhu chuckled. “She might have tried to if I didn’t make it there in time,” he said. “But don’t worry, she’s been persuaded.”

Scarlet turned to her mother. “I told you so, Mother. He’s talented. You just had to give him a chance.”

“Fine, fine,” Scarlet’s mother said. “Now go talk with your friends. I’ll have the servants bring some refreshments.”

Scarlet grinned with great delight and went back into the room.

Alex looked around the room, surprised how almost everything was bare and made out of Sun Stones. “Phoenixes must not be a vain creature,” he said out loud.

Scarlet gave an awkward smile. “We are. My mother just took away everything as punishment.”

Alex raised an eyebrow. “Have you been trapped in this room since you returned?” he asked.

“More or less,” Scarlet said. “Mother lets me out when I ask her to, but she stays by my side at all times, so I much rather prefer just staying here.”

Alex nodded slowly, focusing on her cultivation base. “Have you not had the time to cultivate or what? You’re only in the Immortal Origin Realm.”

“Hmph! Speak for yourself. You left the lower realm much earlier than I did. How come you’re only just as strong as me?”

“Well… that is a long story,” Alex said.

“Tell me. I’ve been dying to hear what you’ve been doing all this time. I really need to know what took you so long to come here,” Scarlet said.

Alex nodded and began explaining what he had been doing since he left the lower realm upon becoming an Immortal.

He started with the Fighting Poison Guild and how that turned out to be a Demonic Sect. Then he spoke of his time where he opened the Dawn Apothecary, followed by him joining the Blue Silk Sect.

After that, he spoke of meeting his Master, Silvermist, who took him to the Medicine World, where he participated in the Alchemy Tournament that he won.

Then, he spoke about being sent to Hell, and his time there, how he managed to survive and ended up finding the tree. Then he explained how he got out of Hell, but ended up being stuck in a place where he lost his memories.

In the end, he finally escaped that place but lost a lot of time in the process.

And finally, he came to the Land of the Blessed Sun because that was the only way to leave the lower realm.

Scarlet was left in awe for a long while after Alex was done speaking. “You… went through all of that in such a short time?” she asked. “And you even lost a thousand years on top of that?”

Alex shrugged. “If not, we would’ve likely come here around the time you guys left the lower realm,” he said. “And most likely, I would’ve been so much closer to the Divine Realm.”

“Well, at least we’re close in cultivation now,” Scarlet said. “You two are a little further ahead than me, but it won’t be long before I catch up. My Origin is already about done being filled with my Phoenix Flame aura, so I will breeze through the next Realm.”

Alex’s face changed suddenly and so did both Pearl’s and Whisker’s. Bai Jingshen sighed a little, shaking his head.

Scarlet felt confused by the reaction. “What? Did I say something wrong?”

“You missed a great opportunity, that’s all,” Bai Jingshen said.

“What opportunity?” Scarlet asked.

“Did you really choose Phoenix Flames to be your Creation?” Alex asked.

“Yes,” Scarlet said. “It’s flames left behind by our progenitor. It’s quite strong, so almost everyone makes it their Creation. Is there something wrong with that?”

Alex sighed. He pulled out the Provenance Duality: Division technique and handed it to her before explaining what she had missed.

Scarlet read through the talisman and listened to Alex’s explanation. As she did, her eyes slowly widened at the things that were said.

“You… you have more than one Origin?” she asked.

“I have eight,” Alex said.

“I have four,” Pearl added.

Whisker lowered his head. “I only have two.”

Scarlet began panicking. “How… how was I supposed to know I had to wait?” she said. “I even spent years consolidating my cultivation base just to make sure my rebirth hadn’t made things worse. I… what do I do now?”

Bai Jingshen shrugged. “There is nothing you can do,” he said. “Unless you can be reborn again, there is no way.”

“I can’t,” Scarlet said. “I will die.”

“No,” Alex intervened. “That’s not the only way.”

He quickly went through his Soul Space and found what he was looking for. The reward for him winning the Alchemy Competition.

The Second Chance Pill.
