Without any delay, taking advantage of the rubble, the man turned around and rushed to escape.

The man’s expression changed as he felt something stabbing right in the back of his ankle.

Painful scream echoed as he fell on the ground, smashing his face on the rocks. Jia Hao waved his hands as he swirled another dagger with wind elemental power.

The dagger shot out like an arrow as it pierced the skull of the man, killing him instantly.

Suddenly, Jia Hao’s expression changed as he saw the woman lying on the ground, her body curled up as if she was shivering.

Jia Hao was truly perplexed of what happened to that girl. However, he had no time as the city guards of Blood Leaf City were already approaching.

Picking up the girl, Jia Hao sprinted away into the city. Thankfully, me managed to sneak inside the city in time.

’ This is weird, her body feels like it’s getting hot.’ Jia Hao thought inwardly as the woman suddenly clung to him.
