Jord remembered many things of her past, sighing as she looked at Amethyst sleeping… Until she looked at the dunes, and how they began to move… slowly, trembling.
“Hm?”
The tremors only intensified, each second that passed, the dunes trembled more and more…
Her eyes widened, as she felt an immense energy coming from underground.
“Wha…!?”
BOOOM!
The dunes exploded, as Jord’s Divine Spirit Formation barely protected Amethyst from the eruption of not just sand, but miasmic and demonic energies.
Jord’s eyes widened, unable to believe her eyes, just as she was thinking about the bastard…
“I can’t believe it…! His forces are here?! But how did they find us?! We’ve been living in seclusion for over a year!”
She looked at Amethyst, still asleep, the girl was so tired she couldn’t even wake up from all the commotion, Jord quickly slapped her face with a hand made of sand.
“Amethyst! Wake up! We have to run, quickly!”
“W-Wha…? What?!”
Amethyst woke up, looking at the skies as the formation that protected her exploded by an attack coming from the distance, a mass of black miasma emerged above the night sky, and hundreds of Divine Undead Monsters emerged amidst it.
“The Undead?! Wait, are they back to fight me some more?”
“No, they’re not the same as before, they’ve been corrupted by his power!”
“His? What do you mean with… Ah!”
Amethyst’s eyes widened, as she felt his presence, even when he wasn’t even here, he had found her through his powers, and his minions… amidst the cloud of miasma, the Undead monsters, skeletons, zombies, and specters fused into an aberrant monster with countless draconic heads and hundreds of limbs, made of black bones, black rotten flesh, and black crystals and stones.
“I HAVE FINALLY FOUND YOU, HYBRID GIRL.”
“UMBRAL?!”
Amethyst gasped in disbelief, stepping back as she saw the monstrous aberration look down on her, the demonic and dark powers of the one that killed her mother had finally found her.
The dragon’s eyes widened, as her sharp teeth were shown, her Divine Aura erupted, the power of both the Earth Dragons and Light Dragons Bloodlines seamlessly fused into a single power, Light and Earth as one.
She was the only one among all Dragons that had managed to be born as the “perfect hybrid” between Light and Earth Dragons, this fusion embodied into her very body, as she was covered by glowing crystals scales capable of producing holy light.
“Bastard! You’ve sent one of your minions instead of coming yourself?! What are you so afraid of, huh?!”
“HAHAHAHA! I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED YOUR PERSONALITY. YOU’RE THE PERFECT MATERIAL I NEED FOR MY ASCENSION. BUT I DON’T HAVE THE TIME TO WASTE ON THE LIKES OF YOU. SURELY, THIS LITTLE THING I SENT SHOULD BE ENOUGH. SEEING AS HOW YOU HAVE NOT EVEN GROWN STRONGER SINCE THE LAST TIME I SAW YOU.”
“I-I have grown stronger! I’ll show you right now!”

Amethyst’s powers erupted from her body, as she faced the gigantic Undead aberration, which rushed down with ferocious power, her light emerging as she manifested two swords of glowing crystals.
“No! Amethyst, I told you to run! We can’t handle this!”
“Shut up Jord! I’m going to fight and show this bastard that a little familiar isn’t going to beat me! I am much more than he thinks I am! I WILL AVENGE MY MOTHER!!!”
“{Divine Holy Diamond Blades}!”
Amethyst didn’t listen to Jord, as she pointed her claws forward, both glowing swords rushed forward, piercing through the countless limbs of the Miasmic Undead Aberration, slashing through its body and beginning to rapidly burn it with holy light.
“Heh! How do you like that?! The power of light will always triumph against darkness, Umbral!”
“How interesting… yes, I am well aware of my weakness… but thankfully, I’ve learned of ways to counter it. I have to thank your mother for that.”
“What?!”
FLAAASH!
The dark tendrils of the abomination changed, revealing countless glowing scales of golden light, as the light of Amethyst’s attacks reached the monster that Umbral was controlling, these mirror-like scales easily reflected the light away, bombarding the nearby dunes instead.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Amethyst’s eyes widened, realizing those were the scales of her mother’s body, the bastard had somehow made them part of his own power, and had imbued them into the monstrous corpse creature to counter her own daughter’s attacks.
“Do you like them, Amethyst? Aren’t they pretty? I refined all of her scales into my own Soul Armor! With this, my greatest weakness against light is gone! Hahaha… And that even expands to my Familiars! Now enjoy the show, I’ll be leaving you, I am quite busy right now, you see… there’s some new resources for me to harvest with all these new spatial cracks bringing countless treasures to my doorsteps! They’re from “Zipangu” or whatever… How interesting, right?”

Amethyst screamed while crying, but the monstrous Umbral’s presence was completely gone, the creature was left to do as it pleased, rushing down towards Amethyst and shaking the desert with its sheer body proportions. The dunes shook and exploded, as miasma spread everywhere, turning the surroundings into a corrupted swamp.
From the swamp, more Undead from the Dry Sea started emerging, confused at first, but quickly consumed by the Miasma into monstrous Miasmic Undead Monsters, their power more than tripling as not only Miasma but Demonic Energy coursed through their bodies.
“GROOOHHHH!”
Amethyst gritted her teeth, reinforcing her body with her scale armor, and fighting the hordes coming after her, tearing them apart with her blades and her piercing spear scales, while firing beams of light from her body constantly. Even with their new power, the small fry was still small fry.
However, the problem came when the giant monster attacked her again, its massive claws trying to stomp over her body as she barely evaded, its draconic jaws opening, firing beams of black and purple flames, burning through the floor and turning the sands into glass crystals one by one.
