The pursuing Li Mu saw this, and his legs went weak, nearly kneeling down.

"Run!"

Even in a fit of rage, the giant snake was very clever. It raised its massive tail and split a towering tree in half, sending the branches, dozens of meters long, crashing down on Bai Chenyao and Li Mu below.

A chilling glint flashed across Bai Chenyao’s eyes. As Li Mu shouted, he pulled Li Mu to dodge under a big tree to the side, just as the branches of the tree split by the snake smashed to their feet.

Because of the brief pause, the enraged giant snake had caught up.

Its blood-red eyes gleamed with a brutal, cold light, its pupils narrowed into slits, appearing exceptionally chilling and intimidating. It raised its enormous tail and slammed it down squarely between Bai Chenyao and Li Mu.

The ground was pounded into a half-meter-deep pit. Bai Chenyao and Li Mu were sent flying by the strike of its tail, and the giant snake quickly pursued Bai Chenyao’s direction.

Li Mu, who crashed into a tree trunk not far away, watched the snake’s movements, his heart nearly leaping out of his throat in fear.

Once again, he grabbed his gun and squeezed the trigger.

Regardless of whether he could hit the snake’s head, he was worried about accidentally shooting Bai Chenyao due to the snake’s movement, so this time he wasn’t aiming for the head but instead at the snake’s vital spot.

The giant snake seemed to have eyes on its back. Just as it was about to close in on Bai Chenyao, it suddenly swung its giant tail again, fiercely sweeping towards Li Mu.

A cold, foul-smelling wind swept by. Li Mu fired another shot but lost his aim due to the sweep of the snake’s tail, hitting the ground instead.

The crimson glow in the snake’s eyes intensified as it turned its head again to attack Li Mu.

Those cold, blood-red eyes became even more ferocious upon seeing the gun in his hand, its forked tongue flicking out, making a chilling hissing sound.

In the blink of an eye, it was in front of Li Mu.

But its enormous tail hadn’t forgotten Bai Chenyao, who caused it immense pain, ferociously sweeping towards him. The surrounding towering trees were smashed by its tail, branches snapping off, snow falling in flurries, looking very beautiful, yet within this extreme beauty lurked deadly danger.

Li Mu’s terrified voice trembled slightly, at the same time, aiming at the giant snake’s massive body, he abruptly fired.

Feeling the pain, the snake’s body violently thrashed on the ground, even its raised form crashing into the nearby trunk, making a loud bang.

Then the tree and the snake’s body simultaneously fell to the ground. The sinister look in the snake’s eyes grew more fierce and violent, hissing with malevolent rage, ignoring Li Mu, and instead started constricting Bai Chenyao tightly with its tail.
