Walking up to the neat row of fireworks Shen Tiancheng had lined up, Mu Tiantian frowned so hard she could’ve killed a mosquito between her brows. Seeing Shen Tiancheng over there still busily setting up more fireworks, Mu Tiantian bit her lip.

She went closer to one tube of fireworks and took a look. When she saw that the fuse really was, just as Shen Tiancheng had said, extremely long—well over a meter—Mu Tiantian finally breathed a sigh of relief.

But lighting them all in a row like this, the ones up front weren’t scary, the ones in the back were.

Shen Tiancheng seemed to know exactly what she was worrying about. Still holding a box of fireworks in his arms, he smiled and said to her, "Light however many you want. I’ll take care of the rest."

Mu Tiantian felt like she’d just received a royal pardon and nodded quickly.

She walked up to the first tube of fireworks, found the long, thin fuse, and lit it.

Watching that bright yellow spark flare to life, Mu Tiantian quickly turned around and walked back. By the end she was basically running.

The villa’s courtyard was huge, and since it was a standalone house with a private gate, there was no way they’d disturb any other residents.

Plus, Shen Tiancheng’s villa sat at the highest point halfway up the mountain—there were no more villas behind it, and the one in front was at least five hundred meters away. They were setting off fireworks in the backyard garden of the courtyard, so the safety distance was excellent.

After lighting the first firework, Mu Tiantian ran back to the safety zone, and then saw that Shen Tiancheng had already started lighting fireworks on the other side as well.
