Chapter 1315: The First Lunar New Year’s Eve After Marriage (Part 3)

After watching a food show, Shen Tiancheng sent Mu Tiantian to the kitchen and told her to cook.

Compared to being trapped in Shen Tiancheng’s arms and forced to sit there watching TV, Mu Tiantian would much rather go cook in the kitchen, even though her whole body was aching right now.

The kitchen in Shen Tiancheng’s villa was open-plan, so even when she was cooking, Mu Tiantian could still see what was going on over in the living room.

But if she could avoid seeing Shen Tiancheng, Mu Tiantian naturally didn’t want to see him, so she focused all her attention on cooking.

The kitchen utensils were all fully stocked, and there were vegetables, fruit, meat, seafood, everything. Judging from the labels and dates on them, they’d all just been bought this afternoon.

To make herself forget where she was, Mu Tiantian concentrated on cooking.

While braising the pork, Mu Tiantian even felt a little dazed.

It was like she’d gone back to those days with Bai Chenyao in Jinxin Courtyard. Back then it was just the two of them, and Bai Chenyao had specially moved there from Golden Bay so they could live in their own little world.

She cooked, and Bai Chenyao would sometimes lend a hand.

Although at that time she still hadn’t fallen in love with Bai Chenyao, compared to the disgust and hatred she used to feel toward him, because of Bai Chenyao’s care and thoughtfulness, her opinion of him had changed a little for the better.

Thinking back on it now, a bitter smile tugged at Mu Tiantian’s lips.

"About to cry?"

Shen Tiancheng’s voice suddenly sounded behind her. Pulled out of her memories, Mu Tiantian jolted, shocked.

"No!"

Without looking at Shen Tiancheng, Mu Tiantian glanced at the half-finished braised pork in the pot. She turned the high flame down to a low simmer; a faint fragrance was already drifting out.

Shen Tiancheng closed his eyes, that delicate, androgynous face wearing an expression of enjoyment.

"Smells pretty good. Let’s see what it tastes like once it’s out of the pot!"

"Of course... if it doesn’t taste good... you’ll have to be punished, you know?"

As Shen Tiancheng said this, he gave Mu Tiantian an extremely suggestive, blatant smile.

"Punishment means: whatever you least want to do, that’s exactly what I’ll make you do."

Mu Tiantian’s expression instantly went as black as the bottom of the pot.

Seeing this, Shen Tiancheng couldn’t help bursting out laughing. He reached out to pinch Mu Tiantian’s white and tender cheek, then frowned.

"Too skinny."

Mu Tiantian clenched her teeth, just about to snap back, when she heard Shen Tiancheng lazily add, "You’re a bit hard to hold on to."

Mu Tiantian: "..."

Because Shen Tiancheng suddenly ran over to the kitchen area, throwing out a few lines now and then that made Mu Tiantian both embarrassed and furious, she no longer had the time to reminisce about the days she’d spent with Bai Chenyao.

She could only keep focusing on the dishes. After the braised pork was done, she made a simple stir-fried baby bok choy, tomato scrambled eggs, and a clear crucian carp soup. With three dishes and one soup finished, Shen Tiancheng really did seem hungry; before Mu Tiantian had even carried the food out, he’d already started taking the dishes over to the nearby dining table.

Clearly they were enemies, but the way they were getting along right now...

Thinking about being forced to cook for Shen Tiancheng, Mu Tiantian felt suffocated with anger.

She’d originally wanted to dump in more salt and salt Shen Tiancheng to death, but worried that if his crazy side acted up she’d be powerless to stop him, she could only give up on that idea.

And after tasting Mu Tiantian’s cooking, Shen Tiancheng was obviously very satisfied.

"From now on, we’ll cut two hours off your daily sparring and you’ll cook for me instead."

Mu Tiantian: "..."

Seeing Mu Tiantian’s cold expression, Shen Tiancheng curled his lips in a wicked smile.

"Of course, I’ll stay with you the whole time. I won’t let you feel bored alone."

Mu Tiantian: "..."
