Edith lightly tapped Su Xuan’s head with her fan, then turned and walked toward the rose-adorned door. "You could have wandered anywhere else," she said softly. "Why did you have to come here? This child can’t necessarily withstand the temptations of her own inner desires."

As she spoke, her fingertips traced lightly over the rose-adorned door, seemingly reinforcing a seal to ensure that whatever lay within would no longer affect Ivsha.

Just then, Su Xuan noticed the faint pink aura of Magic Power around Ivsha had vanished. She seemed to have returned to normal.

"Why is that?" Viora asked, tilting her head curiously while clutching a tree branch.

"Because," Edith said calmly, "this place is haunted at night."

"Eek!"

Edith’s words made Viora tremble. You could even see the fur on her deer-like back stand on end in fear.

"In that case, we’ll be going," Su Xuan said, immediately activating the Teleportation Array.
