It was fun to see this nerd finally blush, even if it was very small. It felt like an accomplishment and I loved that her tail gave her emotions away so easily.

[Like a cute dog... Except this is a grown ass dragon woman. Well, it doesn’t matter since she’ll end up in doggy position, hehe~]

"Good to know," I grinned, reaching across the table and casually placing my palm flat over her cool, delicate hand.

Sigrid froze.

Her vertical golden pupils expanded into massive, perfectly round circles. She stared down at my warm hand resting over hers, then slowly looked up into my face, her chest rising and falling in a slightly faster rhythm. She didn’t pull her hand away. Instead, her sharp, manicured hands curled subtly, holding onto my fingers with a firm, surprisingly gentle grip.

"Data point recorded," Sigrid whispered, her glasses slipping slightly down her nose. "Tactical hand-holding yields an unexpected thirty percent increase in heart rate. Further testing is required."

"Take all the time you need, Sigrid," I smiled warmly, squeezing her hand. "We’ve got plenty of time."

Looking at her bright, golden eyes and her totally unbothered, eccentric personality, I knew one thing for sure, my life at Avalon Academy was never going to have a boring moment.

After the hand-holding session, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw a group message from Yerin and Yoona, letting me know they had just finished their administrative paperwork and were free to meet up near the central plaza.

I gently slid my palm away from Sigrid’s cool grip, giving her a relaxed smile. "Well, my free exploration time is pretty much over. I’m heading out to meet up with a few of my girlfriends. You’re welcome to tag along if you want."

Sigrid didn’t answer right away. She raised her silver tablet, her manicured black hand tapping across the glass screen at high speed. Lines of green data reflected off her reading glasses as her vertical golden pupils flicked back and forth.

"Processing request," Sigrid muttered in a flat, serious tone. "Cross-referencing human courtship behaviors with social network integration protocols. Conclusion: establishing positive diplomatic relations with the target’s friends increases long-term courtship success by eighty-four percent. I will accompany you."

I chuckled, pushing my chair back from the table. "Alright then. Let’s go."

Val fell into step right behind my right shoulder, while Sigrid walked directly on my left, still tapping away on her screen.

As we walked down the broad stone avenues toward the central plaza, Sigrid began bringing up various theoretical topics without breaking her stride.

"In order to optimize our future genetic pairing, Seth, we should schedule a comprehensive bloodline resonance test," Sigrid stated plainly. "By analyzing the precise interaction between your core physical parameters and my pureblood dragonkin lineage, we can accurately predict the elemental affinity and spatial capacity of our future offspring."

I looked over at her with a dry smirk. "Sigrid, we’ve known each other for less than three hours. Don’t you think talking about bloodline mixing and child genetics is moving a little fast?"

"Speed is irrelevant when dealing with empirical data," Sigrid replied, adjusting her glasses with her index finger. "Early diagnostic testing prevents biological incompatibilities."

As we walked, our group naturally drew a mountain of attention from passing students. Word about my performance in the testing hall and my one-sided match against Lysander had clearly spread across campus, making people stare and whisper whenever I passed by.

But having Sigrid walking beside me made the stares twice as intense. Students whispered about why the notoriously cold, eccentric dragon princess was walking beside the new transfer student.

Sigrid didn’t care in the slightest. She didn’t even give the surrounding crowd a glance, treating them with complete indifference as she continued analyzing her tablet screen.

Soon, we arrived at the grand marble fountain near the main administrative spire. Standing under the shade of a wide runic archway were Yerin and Yoona.

Both sisters were dressed in the official Avalon Academy uniform, and seeing them in it hit me instantly.

Yerin wore a short, dark pleated skirt with a fitted white collared shirt, a loose navy tie, and a dark vest, giving her a sharp, stylish look that fit her idol persona perfectly. Yoona wore a tailored dark blazer over a crisp white shirt, paired with a longer, high-waisted pleated skirt that emphasized her long legs and posture, looking every bit like the Student Council President.

The sight turned me on instantly. They looked incredible.

"You two look insanely hot in those uniforms," I said directly, not bothering to hide the shameless grin on my face as I walked up to them.

Yerin tossed her dark hair back, beaming as a playful smirk spread across her face. "Glad you like the view, hubby! Though I see you’re already out here picking up new girls on your very first day." She shot a teasing glance toward Sigrid.

Yoona stepped forward, her eyes glittering with amused curiosity as she looked at the dragonkin princess. She offered a polite, graceful hand. "Good afternoon, Princess Sigrid. I didn’t expect my fiancé to cross paths with the Lead Researcher of the Third Wing so quickly."

Sigrid shook Yoona’s hand with a single, firm, precise grip. "President Yoona. Seth and I engaged in a joint spatial calculation session in the synthesis lab, after which we successfully initiated Stage Two of our courtship protocol."

I shrugged casually, looking at Yoona. "For the record, she came to me."

Then, I turned my gaze toward Sigrid, keeping my posture relaxed. "Look, Sigrid, since you’re serious about this courtship thing, you need to know the reality of the situation. Yerin, Yoona, and Val are all my girlfriends, and I intend to marry them. That’s the kind of relationship I have. If you aren’t comfortable with a multi-partner dynamic, you can step back right now. No hard feelings."

I wanted everything to be clear before our relationship took even a single step forward. We didn’t know each other much at this stage so even if we both backed away, no one would be hurt.

That was why communication was important, something a lot of romance novel lacked.
