Enjoying Life With Do As You Please System
Chapter 136: War Of Wardrobe
My request wasn’t over the top, but judging by my mom’s reaction, it mattered a lot to her. After being starved for parental all my life, I was finally getting used to her love and now I had to leave.
Obviously, I was going to miss her a lot.
"Oh, Seth...!" Mom gasped out, her voice trembling with happiness. "I will make you the absolute best, most delicious feast in the entire world!! Wait right here!!"
Without waiting another second, Mom turned on her heel and practically sprinted down the hallway toward the estate kitchen to begin her culinary mission.
I let out a quiet, amused chuckle, turning my gaze toward Yoona, who was leaning against the table with a relaxed smile. "So, Madam Student Council President... do you need to head up to your house or something to pack your luggage too?"
Yoona rolled her dark eyes at me, a teasing smirk on her lips. "I am your senior, Seth. I already maintain a private, fully furnished executive suite on the Avalon campus. I don’t need to pack anything."
I shrugged, turning around to face Val and Yerin.
"Well then..." I grinned, offering my hands to my two newly bound wives. "...looks like it’s just the three of us heading upstairs to pack."
...
Packing my bags turned out to be a complete disaster. I thought it would take twenty minutes at most. Throw in a few clean shirts, two pairs of pants, some socks, and call it a day. Simple.
My wives had a completely different plan.
"Throw that away," Yerin said, snatching a dark gray hoodie straight out of my hands and tossing it into the far corner of the room. "You’re the heir to the Fernando family and a top-tier Awakened heading to Avalon, not a depressed college student during finals week."
"Hey, that hoodie is comfortable," I protested, reaching for it. "I’ve had it for three years."
Yoona stepped right in front of me, placing her warm palm against my chest and pushing me back down onto the bed. "She’s right, Seth. The fabric is worn out, and the cut doesn’t do your shoulders justice."
She leaned down, her face inches from mine, her eyes scanning my collarbone before her fingers lingered against my neck. "We need clothes that actually fit your frame. You have a very good body, darling. It’s a crime to hide it under baggy cotton."
[Oho?] Paige chimed in my head, giggling happily. [Look at them, boss! They’re stripping your wardrobe clean! Want me to spawn a golden closet filled with designer suits?]
’Shut up, Paige,’ I replied mentally.
Meanwhile, Val was near the wardrobe, silently lifting heavy wooden storage chests and flipping open my closet doors. She picked up three of my formal jackets, inspected the seams with sharp eyes, and set them aside on a growing ’discard’ pile.
"The shoulders are two centimeters too narrow," Val noted smoothly. "It limits upper-body movement. Ineffective for both combat maneuvers and formal etiquette.."
"See? Even Valerie agrees!" Yerin cheered. She tapped away rapidly on a sleek glass tablet, her fingers moving like a blur. "Don’t worry, Seth. I just placed an order on the high-tier Awakened delivery network. Three dozen customized outfits, silk inner shirts, tailored trousers, and leather boots."
I blinked, staring at her tablet screen. "Direct delivery to Avalon?"
"Yep!" Yerin grinned proudly. "Special spatial delivery array. It delivers straight to our assigned dorm suite at the academy within two hours. Magic and money make everything possible in this world, babe."
"We’re also visiting Uruk’s commercial district before classes officially start," Yoona added smoothly, sitting beside me on the mattress and resting her head against my shoulder. Her soft scent drifted into my nose, warm and sweet. "The high-grade enchanted fabrics there offer far better elemental resistance. We can’t let our husband look plain."
Before I could even answer, Yerin and Yoona practically overturned my entire room. Drawers were pulled open, luggage was emptied onto the carpet, and ninety percent of my stuff was thrown into a pile to be donated or scrapped.
They selected only a handful of personal items, my dark spatial ring, and a few sentimental trinkets.
Yerin crawled onto the bed, sliding onto my lap and wrapping her arms around my neck. Her dark eyes sparkled with playful mischief as her hips rested firmly against mine.
"Since we’re tossing out all your old clothes..." Yerin whispered, her lips brushing against my ear, "...maybe we should test how quickly you can get out of the new ones?"
Yoona let out a low chuckle, her fingers tracing a line down my chest, stopping right at my belt buckle. "Now there’s a practical test I can support."
Val stood near the wardrobe, her cheeks turning a faint pink as she quickly turned her head away, coughing into her fist. "We... we still have a schedule to keep, Lady Yerin."
"Party pooper," Yerin pouted, though she gave my chest a firm, playful squeeze before sliding off my lap.
Ten minutes later, Yerin called in her personal beauty and styling team. Three professional stylists walked into the room carrying silver cases filled with high-end enchanted cosmetics, potions, and hair tools.
They set to work immediately. They washed, cut, and styled my dark hair into a sharp, textured look that brought out my eyes and jawline without looking overly slick. They applied subtle skin-toning creams that cleared every trace of fatigue from my face, making me look fully refreshed.
Then came the suit. Yerin handed me a tailored three-piece suit, a dark navy vest, fitted trousers, and a matching jacket.
I put it on, keeping the top two buttons of my crisp white shirt undone and wearing the vest slightly loose, skipping the tie altogether. I checked myself in the full-length mirror.
I didn’t even look like the same guy who used to work eighty-hour weeks at a cheap restaurant. I looked like a top-tier international model straight off a magazine cover.
The moment I turned around to face my wives, the room fell dead silent.
Drip.
A literal line of red blood dripped straight from Yerin’s nose. Her eyes were wide, staring at my chest and waist with a shameless, lewd grin plastered across her face. "Holy... sweet mother of divine beauty..."
Beside her, Yoona tried her best to maintain her cool, composed posture. But the air around her suddenly shifted, growing dense and warm. A sweet, intoxicating wave of dark pheromones leaked into the room, and two small, sleek obsidian horns sprouted from her hairline. Her eyes gleamed with intense hunger.
Val stared at me, her face completely flushing red all the way down to her neck. She raised a trembling hand and gave me a firm thumbs-up.
"A... a lethal attack, Seth," Val muttered, her voice slightly strained as she adjusted her dark collar. "My defensive focus has been thoroughly breached."
I looked at the three of them, a shameless, satisfied grin spreading across my face.
"Glad to know I still have this kind of effect on you ladies," I said smoothly, running a hand through my styled hair.
Yerin wiped the blood from her nose with the back of her hand, grinning wildly. "Effect?! Seth, you look so hot it’s illegal! But honestly, it would be way better if you were completely without clothes!"
SLAP!
Yoona slapped the back of Yerin’s head, letting out a long, heavy groan. "Shut up, Yerin! Stop arousing me with your shameless words before I lose control right here on the carpet!"
"Ow! Unnie!" Yerin whined, rubbing her head.
I chuckled, adjusting my vest. "Alright, is there anything left we actually need to pack?"
"Sex!" Yerin blurted out instantly.
SMACK!
This time, it was Val who stepped up and slapped Yerin’s back.
Val let out a sharp cough, holding her hand in the air with a rigid, professional expression. "Apologies. My hand acted on instinct and went out of control."
Yerin glared at Val, wiping her nose again while pouting furiously. "You backstabbing blonde! Just wait, I’m taking my revenge on you later tonight."
Yoona shook her head, letting out a soft sigh as the horns on her forehead receded into her hair. The thick pheromones in the air slowly dissipated.
"We should head downstairs and spend time with our family," Yoona suggested, looking at me with warm eyes. "Since we’re heading to Avalon soon, it’ll be a while before we see each other again.’"
"I agree," I nodded. "Let’s go."
We walked down the grand marble staircase to the main living hall. Mom was sitting on one of the plush velvet sofas, looking completely relaxed. The living room table was cleared, and a large holographic screen was floating in the center of the lounge. Alice looked up, her face lighting up as she noticed us.
"Mom," I called out, walking over and sitting beside her. "Are you done packing?"
"Everything is taken care of, darling," Alice said with a smile, reaching over to pat my arm. She looked at me with soft maternal warmth. "I’ve packed up everything and had the guards load it into the transport."
