Chapter 463: Face to Face With The Axiom Origin

Sylvia went on to tell him why Meng Ziyi had died and Caelus’s expression darkened as he listened. The Heavenly Lord had driven her to take her own life rather than let him force her into his war.

Then Sylvia reached the part about Adam and Caelus stared at her in disbelief.

"Adam was the First Origin’s other half? That’s who he meant in the recording?"

He remembered the broken message in the hidden ruin. Adam had given them that clue long ago and they hadn’t understood what he was saying.

Sylvia told him about the unknown SSS-Rank Talent and their failure to gain the multiverse’s acknowledgment. Like the Hollow King and Heavenly Lord, both had used Primordial remains to reach beyond Axiom Origin Rank.

Caelus thought about the figure he had seen forming inside the construct. Now he knew how the First Origin had been created and why Adam was connected to him.

He told Sylvia what the vision had shown him. She listened without interrupting as he explained that the paradise memories had come from the Supreme One himself.

"I was watching those children through his eyes. The Axiom Origin used a part of him to create the First Origin and those memories stayed with that power."

Caelus looked toward the distant universes once he finished speaking. For the first time he had both a reason to find the construct and enough power to do something when he reached it.

"Let’s go back to the Axiom universe. I’ll make sure that bastard never gets his hands on the Axiom Origin."

He took Sylvia’s hand and followed the currents leading home. Whole universes passed beyond his sight as the chaos parted around them.

Soon he felt the familiar pull of the place they had left. They returned within its boundary and contained their strength as the surrounding stars came into view.

A passage opened nearby and the Hollow King stepped through. His gaze moved over Caelus before settling on the hand Sylvia was holding.

"So you really managed to become a Primordial."

"I guess yeah." Caelus replied casually. He no longer feared the Hollow King, his power was superior to his.

Sylvia smiled beside him while the Hollow King studied the power coming from them both. Caelus could now sense his strength clearly and understood just how much the transformation had changed him.

"You’ve given us a chance we didn’t have before." The Hollow King looked toward the stars ahead.

"The Axiom Origin rests at the center of this universe. With your Origin authority you should be able to find it now."

Caelus reached out with his senses and felt an answer from deep within the universe. Something immense lay beyond the distant galaxies and his power was already pulling him toward it.

"It’s already responding to my Origin authority."

"Then go to it while we still have time. I’ll return to the Hollow Realm and stay with the Enders."

Caelus nodded and left with Sylvia as the Hollow King reopened his passage. They crossed the space between galaxies until the stars thinned around them and a golden glow appeared ahead.

As they approached, the glow revealed an enormous construct suspended in the emptiness. Vast rings surrounded its center and countless lines of light ran through their surfaces.

Caelus stopped in front of it and felt his Origin authority surge. He had seen this shape in his visions, yet standing before it made his chest tighten.

"So I’m finally here, at the place where all of this began."

The rings remained still despite the power inside them. Caelus could sense that the Axiom Origin was sleeping and had yet to recover everything it had lost.

He moved closer as his authority reached toward its center. Instead of stopping him, the light across its surface drew aside.

[Authority Activated: Origin.]

Caelus held out his hand and one of the vast rings turned toward him. The movement stopped the instant he wanted it to.

His fingers remained raised as he stared at the ring. He hadn’t broken a seal or forced it to submit.

"I can actually control it?"

The Hollow King had said it was possible, but Caelus hadn’t expected the response to be this clear. Something that had shaped so many lives was waiting for him to decide what it should do.

He drew closer and several connections appeared within the golden light. They stretched beyond the construct and reached across the universe toward the Enders.

One led to Sylvia beside him. Through another he felt Freya’s familiar power in the Tier 2 World, while four reached toward the Hollow Realm.

Caelus followed each connection and sensed what lay at its other end. The power the Heavenly Lord wanted them to release in war was still there.

His eyes widened as he realized he could draw it out himself. They didn’t need to fight and die for the Axiom Origin to reclaim what belonged to it.

"Sylvia, I can take back the power in all six of you."

She looked toward the connection stretching from her into the construct. Caelus reached for it and felt the same response from every other connection.

He took hold of them through his Origin authority and began drawing their power toward himself. The Axiom Origin’s light carried it through the waiting rings as he pulled.

Sylvia’s Death power rushed along the nearest connection. Then Life followed from the distant Tier 2 World and the remaining four streams answered together.

Caelus kept drawing until all the power linked to the construct left the six Enders. It gathered before his hand as the last golden lines emptied.

In the Hollow Realm, Bane frowned as he felt his fate powers leaving him. Across the room the Ender of Chaos looked down at his hands and tried to summon his own.

"What’s happening? Where did my power go?"

Will and Order turned toward them as they felt the same loss. Bane hurried toward the Hollow King, who had returned to check on them.

"Something took our powers! It might be the Heavenly Lord."

The Hollow King looked back in the direction he had come from and then raised a hand toward the four Enders.

"Calm down. It’s probably Caelus’s doing."

The enders looked amongst themselves.

Caelus?
