Chapter 409: Sylvia’s new powers

Sylvie nodded.

"Yeah, I do know her. I once found her in the Star King World."

"She was only at the Emperor Rank back then. She approached me because she thought I was Sylvia."

As she said this, Sylvie looked down slightly.

"She was disappointed when she realized I wasn’t Sylvia. Someone looked like her, but it wasn’t the person she was searching for. She left dejectedly."

Hearing this, Caelus and Sylvia exchanged a look.

"Do you know where she went?"

Sylvie shook her head.

"No. I have no idea. But I saw her near the forest you found me in. Meaning it was very close to where I lived. Maybe she lives nearby."

Hearing this, Caelus nodded.

They would have to use the Star King Administration’s power to find her it seems like and now that he had a clue he will not hesitate.

Immediately afterward, Caelus contacted the Overseer of the Star King Administration.

Once the connection was established, he brought up Mia’s image and showed it to him.

"This person is somewhere in the Star King World. Can you find her? She is near the vicinity of the forest you found me and sylvia at."

"This is extremely crucial. Finding this person should be top priority."

Hearing this, the Overseer immediately understood the importance of the request.

"Leave it to me, Star King. We will begin the search immediately."

Caelus thanked him.

With the Star King Administration searching for Mia, their chances of finding her had greatly improved.

Meanwhile, Caelus turned his attention toward his own strength.

Reaching the Overlord Rank in only three days was already absurd, but he was not satisfied.

He wanted to reach Origin Lord as quickly as possible.

At the same time, Caelus had grown tired of dealing with the political matters surrounding the Star King World.

Sitting around and waiting was pointless.

With that thought in mind, Caelus turned toward Sylvia.

"I think we should use this time to conquer one of those hidden ruins."

Hearing this, Sylvia immediately agreed.

"Yeah. It might be the best way to reach Origin-Lord Rank."

"But I think we should chill out and check out the place first. We just came to the Tier 2 World After all."

Caelus nodded. He agreed with her idea.

While the Star King Administration searched for Mia, they explored the Tier 2 Star King World.

Soon afterward, Caelus, Sylvia, and Sylvie returned to their quarters.

Once they were alone, Caelus remembered the enormous changes caused by Sylvia’s transformation into the Ender of Death.

With that thought, he turned toward her.

"What powers did Sylvie unlock as the Ender of Death?"

Hearing his question, Sylvia answered,

"There weren’t as many changes as you might expect. The biggest ones were becoming the Ender of Death and transforming into a Death Spirit."

The Death Spirit transformation gave Sylvia abilities comparable to Freya’s Life Spirit abilities.

Freya was the Life Spirit, while Sylviea was now the Death Spirit.

Both could summon beings and create armies.

Like Freya’s summons, Sylvia’s summons could also become as strong as Sylvie herself.

Sylvia could transform dead beings into summons, but only if they willingly joined her army.

Because of that limitation, she could not force every powerful dead individual to serve her.

As a result, finding suitable summons with enough strength and willingness would be difficult.

Even so, Sylvia’s previous abilities remained available after her transformation.

Her former Blood Doppelganger ability had evolved into Death Doppelganger.

Its function remained mostly the same, allowing her to create clones of herself.

Sylvia then mentioned another ability.

"I also regained the Bond-Share ability we had back in the Abyss."

It was an ability she had that allowed her to transfer her own HP to him in emergency situations it was pretty useful.

Hearing this, Caelus understood that the bond between him and Sylvia remained extremely useful, even at their current level.

"Her main Talent also evolved."

[Death Ascension (Upper SS-Rank)]

Her previous MP-to-HP conversion ability of True Vampire Progenitor had become even more powerful.

It now followed this ratio.

1 MP = 2 HP. Before it was 1 MP = 1 HP.

Sylvia could convert her MP into twice as much HP.

Combined with her enormous reserves and other abilities, she had become a truly undying entity.

She now possessed the abilities necessary to grow into the terrifying existence associated with that title.

Despite being impressed by Sylvie’s power, Caelus soon began thinking about the larger situation.

So far, he had encountered Death, Life, and the remains of Fate.

But what happened to the remaining Enders?

A war was supposedly imminent, yet events were not unfolding as he expected.

The Enders should naturally oppose one another because their concepts were destined to clash.

However, Freya was calm and collected and despised war.

Sylvia was also against it.

More importantly, Freya and Sylvia were close friends.

Because of that, there was no reason for Life and Death to fight when the people representing those powers had no desire to battle each other.

Caelus understood that the situation had already deviated from the pattern he expected.

Things were not going according to plans.

For now, however, he decided not to overthink it.

There were too many unknown variables.

He would deal with them as they appeared.

Meanwhile, while Caelus and the others discussed their next move, the Overseer contacted them.

"Star King, we found Mia."

Hearing this, Caelus immediately focused on the message.

"Where is she?"

"She is currently with the Divine God of Boundless Light Faction."

The search was finally over.

Immediately after hearing this, Caelus told Sylvia and Sylvie that they were going to retrieve Mia, and the group immediately left.

Soon, Caelus, Sylvia, and Sylvie arrived at the territory of the Divine God of Boundless Light Faction.

The territory was unlike anything Caelus had seen before. It seemed like they had a great footing in this world.

Enormous towers of pure white crystal rose from the ground, stretching so high that their peaks disappeared into the clouds. Each tower radiated a soft golden glow, casting warm light across the entire region.

The buildings were constructed from pale marble and luminescent stone. Every surface seemed to shimmer faintly, as though sunlight had been permanently woven into the architecture itself.

Overall, the entire territory felt sacred and ancient.

Naturally, their arrival immediately attracted attention.

The faction members were bewildered by the sudden appearance of the Star King Administration.

Soon, guards in gleaming white armor approached them cautiously, while ordinary members stopped what they were doing to watch.

As more people noticed their arrival, whispers spread through the crowd.

"The Star King Administration?"

"Why are they here?"

"What business do they have with our faction?"

Just then, the Overseer of the Divine God of Boundless Light Faction approached them.
