Chapter 363: Blood Seal And Extracting The Remaining Golden Pill

Ayame, Freya, Seraphin Lin, and Mason walked inside and sat on the sofa.

Mason looked around the apartment with wide eyes, his gaze moving from the simple furniture to the plain walls.

"So this is where you live, Sir Caelus?" He sounded genuinely surprised. "I thought you lived in a castle or something grand."

Caelus’s lips twitched at his words.

"Nothing like that, Mason. This is just a normal apartment."

"But you are so powerful, Sir." Mason scratched his head in confusion. "I expected gold chandeliers and marble floors at the very least."

"Sorry to disappoint you."

Caelus shrugged helplessly, he didn’t know what else to say.

Mason then straightened his posture and cleared his throat.

"By the way, Sir, I delivered the spatial rings to Elder Sterling as you instructed."

"How did it go?"

"Very well, he was impressed by the quality of the ores." Mason nodded with satisfaction. "He also said that since we are at Tier 5, we should bring King-Rank Level Ores. But I already told him that it’ll take time since our miners are not at King Rank yet."

"Good work."

Caelus gave him an approving nod.

Freya leaned forward with curiosity in her eyes.

"Big Brother Origin, your apartment is so small though. How do you and Big Sister Sylvia fit in here?"

"We manage. It’s enough for two people."

"Do you sleep on the couch?" Freya tilted her head innocently.

Ayame immediately covered Freya’s mouth with her hand.

"Don’t ask questions like that, Freya."

Seraphin Lin chuckled softly at the exchange.

She too wished that she could live with Caelus, unfortunately, that would only be a pipe dream...

Freya’s eyes darted between everyone with confusion, she clearly didn’t understand what was wrong with her question.

Caelus decided to change the subject before things got more awkward.

"How was Tokyo? Did you guys enjoy it?"

"The food was amazing!" Freya immediately brightened up. "We tried ramen and sushi and tempura and so many other things!"

Just then, the bathroom door opened.

Sylvia walked out wearing a comfortable oversized sweater, her silver hair still slightly damp from the bath.

She looked refreshed and beautiful, her crimson eyes immediately finding Caelus.

Without any hesitation, she walked straight toward him and plopped herself directly onto his lap.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned against his chest with a satisfied smile.

Everyone’s lips twitched at the sight.

This girl, how could she do such a thing when there were guests right in front of them?

She had absolutely no shame.

Caelus just chuckled helplessly.

A full grown woman acting like this, he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. But he didn’t push her away either, he just let her sit there comfortably.

Mason just coughed awkwardly and studied the ceiling for a while. He didn’t know how to react to this.

Sylvia didn’t care about their reactions at all, she snuggled closer to Caelus with zero regrets.

"Well then." Freya stood up from the sofa. "We should get going, I’ll help Mason find a place to stay."

"Thank you, Young Miss." Mason stood up as well, clearly relieved to escape the awkward situation.

"We’re planning to go into dungeons to level up." Ayame added. "Freya wants to reach King Rank soon."

Caelus nodded at her words.

"Be careful out there."

"We will!" Freya waved cheerfully. "Bye Big Brother Origin, bye Big Sister Sylvia!"

The group said their goodbyes and left the apartment one by one.

The door clicked shut behind them, leaving Caelus and Sylvia alone.

Caelus looked down at the girl still sitting on his lap.

"You got new skills, right?"

Sylvia nodded happily.

"I got a good amount, I also got some for you."

As she said that, she reached into her inventory and pulled out several golden pills.

She placed them on the coffee table, there were roughly ten of them glowing with a faint light.

Caelus examined them briefly and then looked back at Sylvia.

"You take five, I’ll take five."

"Why?" Sylvia tilted her head. "Shouldn’t you take more since you weren’t there with me?"

"I already have plenty of skills, you lack many compared to me." Caelus smiled at her. "So you deserve it."

As he said that, he leaned forward and kissed her gently on the forehead.

Sylvia immediately wore a pleased expression, her cheeks flushing pink as she hugged Caelus tightly.

She loved Caelus so much, her obsession with him would never end.

Some people’s obsession over someone faded when they officially became partners, but her obsession with Caelus only deepened after being together with him.

Every day she fell more in love with him.

Caelus was happy too, he hugged her back without complaint.

Sylvia was soft and warm, he could hug her just like this all day.

They stayed like that for a while, just enjoying each other’s warmth.

Eventually, Sylvia pulled back slightly.

"Should we use the pills now?"

"Yeah, let’s do it together."

They each took five golden pills from the table.

Sylvia went first, she consumed her pills one by one while still sitting on Caelus’s lap.

Caelus glanced at his new skills with mild interest.

They weren’t particularly strong, but having more options was always useful.

He could also use these for Token Creation later and give copies to his faction members.

Then, Sylvia suddenly had an idea.

"Hubby, I should use my Token of Exchange."

"Go ahead."

Sylvia activated her Token of Exchange, the interface appearing before her eyes.

She selected several of her weaker skills as sacrifice material, including some of the ones she had just obtained.
