Chapter 906: Hero Lyon & Declaration of Marital Status

Chapter 906: Hero Lyon & Declaration of Marital Status

Kingdom of Nostria.

Sylviana was lazing as usual inside her garden with her head slumped on her arm. She sighed, “Hey Fei, how many days has it been?”

“Been what, young miss?” said Fei as she lightly sprayed the flowers on the fairly long pots.

Sylviana pulled her own head up before resting her back. She looked up at the sky and saw a bird freely hovering from one cloud to another. “Since he soared.”

“You mean Lyon?” asked Fei.

“Who else,” Sylviana responded with her eyes rolled.

Fei smiled before gently placing the spray bottle in her hand beside the pot. She turned before approaching her young miss with elegance. She reached toward her shoulders before grabbing them. The latter looked up as her face was being swallowed by the shadow of the former.

Fei said, “I think the more appropriate question is why are you asking that question in the first place.”

Sylviana’s cheeks turned a red hue, “F-Fei, stop saying it that way.”

“I wonder what young miss is talking about,” Fei chuckled off her innocence. “Anyway, the rebuilding has been going exceptionally well. Furthermore, the morale in our kingdom has only risen since.”

“With young master Porealus and Zet combined fame, it would only be weird if it was otherwise,” said Sylviana. “But honestly, he could have at least stopped by and seen his homeland.”

“Homeland, huh?” Fei smiled, “Do you think that he would consider this place his homeland? A place where not even the local cultivators could glide the sky? I mean, he came crashing here, remember? Without clothes too.”

“You don’t have to remind me about that last part,” uttered Sylviana.

Fei chuckled, “I might be feigning innocence, but the real master of the feign art is you, young miss.”

“I will pretend that I’m stupid enough to not understand what you’re saying,” Sylviana rolled her eyes, “Speaking of which, I didn’t see older sister Karina after that onslaught.”

Fei sighed, “She lost half of her hand but no matter what items do we have in our treasury, there was nothing that could help her. It’s all up to Lyon, now.”

“You believe that he would bring miracles?”

“I mean, he did revive Luna’s mother, did he not?” asked Fei. “He possessed a gift even the gods would envy, though, her circumstances are indeed not normal.”

“Hm?” a nose was twitching inside of the chambers in the palace.

“Hmm??” a woman who was born with the highest rank of beauty raised her brows. Her eyes were of different colors. One was azure blue while the right one was red. She pulled out the tip of the pipe from her lips before looking at the nearby window. She put down her crossed legs before standing up. She approached the window and watched the city below bustling with their everyday lives before three carriages caught their attention.

“How about that, he came back…” Kyoko smiled.

“Oi, oi, oi, look!” said one of the passing cultivators.

“That’s some fancy carriages if I saw one,” said another.

The three carriages immediately garnered the attention of the people of Nostria. Everyone turned their heads to see, the status that the vehicle brought with them. It was then that they recognize the drivers.

“Holy shit! That’s the hero! That’s gotta be the hero, right!” said one child as he pointed at the carriages with little jumps.

“Why are you spouting bad words on his arrival?” said one of his snotted friends.

“Hmph! I can say what I want,” the child’s arms crossed. His chin raised as he was lecturing him, “In case you didn’t know, Hero Lyon is famous not only for the way of his swords but also the way of his tongue. Legend said that he beat powerful cultivators only using his mighty words alone. Another legend also said that it was his way of garnering the attention of the ladies that have unimaginable status, truly man among men.”

“Woah,” his friends couldn’t help but be confounded by his words.

Meanwhile, inside Lyon’s carriage.

“Would you look at that, even I don’t have such privilege with my status,” said Luna as she watched the enthralled crowd surrounding their carriages.

“Hahaha!” Lyon’s nose grew longer.

“This is so unnecessary,” Lumina frowned. “They can’t maintain order.”

“Hey, Lumina loosen up,” said Lyon as he put his hand around her shoulder. “This is a celebration, I’m not sure for what, but hell, this is awesome! I can feel my feet tingling right now.”

“That’s why it’s unnecessary,” said Lumina despite her head leaning on his shoulder.

Luna scratched her ear with a finger, with a wry smile seeing the two. ( These two are really odd together sometimes ).

“No, this is necessary,” said Rui as she revealed herself on top of Lyon’s head.

“Mother,” Lyon called out.

“Status is not by any means bad, it unravels power before the true strength,” said Rui. “It keeps weaklings away from standing in front of your path.”

Lumina couldn’t refute Rui’s words and closed her eyes instead. Fighting her would be a losing game.

Meanwhile inside the local bar.

A rushing soldier was heard before finding his captain, “Captain! He returned!”

“Who?” Zhask frowned after chugging one down.

“Lyon! Oops, he goes by Hero Lyon now,” said Lukas.

“Damn!” Zhask chugged another one down before wiping his lips with his hands. “Bartender put it in my tab! The road is going to get crazy!”

The bartender sighed after he watched them two rush outside, “What crazy is that, this is the middle of the day and he finished twenty shots already.”

“Overseer!” a joyful shout reverberated throughout the palace before bustling steps approached Kyoko’s room. The door was slammed open with one hand but Kyoko didn’t bother to turn around.

The woman had vibrant orange hair, something rarely anyone had never seen before.

“It’s him right?! It’s hubby right?!” said Ryona.

“Well, who else could it be?” Kyoko smiled before she froze. “Wait a minute Ryona!”

“Eh?!” Ryona was already an inch away from bursting out the window. “What now?!”

Kyoko frowned before slightly pulling her shoulder back. She took a step forward before squinting her eyes. In one of the carriages, she saw a sharp gaze through the window. Her heart immediately thumped the moment she met the eyes that represented the vast ocean. Her skin immediately crawled back in and out multiple times in this one exchange. No words but her instinct alone. The fright of unfathomable power was revealed in her right eye.

“Overseer…. OVERSEER?!”

“Huh?” Kyoko snapped back into reality.

Ryona frowned, “Are you alright? You don’t look so good.”

Kyoko had cold sweat adorned her forehead before she forced up a smile. “Look’s like he brings in one hell of a monster back.”

“Monster?” Ryona frowned.

“Well a woman, but she is really on a different level,” said Kyoko. “It’s better that you don’t haste, Ryona. We’ll meet him formally, then you will see.”

“That sucks,” Ryona rolled her eyes and put her hands behind her had.

Kyoko turned before nodding, “Good, let’s get outside before—”

Her breath was instantly taken away as soon as she heard the shatters of the window right behind her. Her neck bore the weight of the mountain as she tried to turn, but alas, it was time that slowed her down.

“Ryo..!” Kyoko couldn’t utter her name quickly enough before everyone under the sun saw the gliding woman from the palace

Her hair fluttered greatly as she spread opened her limbs. Her smile turned into a grin, unfazed by the height that would leave a mark.

“Hubby!!” Ryona shouted as if the kingdom was her own.

“Hm?!” Lyon raised his brows. “Ryona?!”

However, the carriage that was driven by Kesya suddenly opened its doors. Sword was in her hand as she was already in a squat position. Her blue eyes streak across the orange-haired woman that was falling.

“Selena wait!” shouted Zelena.

Selena leaped before Zelena could confront her twin. The deafening momentum immediately courted everyone’s alert instinct as they saw Selena zip the air toward Ryona.

“Hm?!” Ryona frowned before she flipped and brandished her ax toward the incoming blade. The clash gave birth to a shockwave before Ryona was propelled back.

“Such immense raw power!” said Kyoko with a frown before catching Ryona.

The Kingdom of Nostria was brought to silence with one single woman hovering above the city. Every eye that peered through her blade only see how they would die by its sharpness.

“T-Thankyou, overseer!” said Ryona as she closed one eye in pain.

Kyoko looked down and noticed Ryona’s hand was trembling from the initial impact. She turned before looking at Selena whose chin was raised. She was indifferent despite petrifying the whole kingdom.

“Who are you?” asked Kyoko.

Selena smirked, “Of course, there is only one identity that matters in this world to me.”

“I’m that man’s husband,” said Selena as she pointed at Lyon whose already outside the carriage with gaped lips.
