One needed sufficient life force to endure the slash power until it dissipated. Heavenfall tried to do so and barely survived, having to discard the body.

Primordial immortals turned pale at the sight of the slash. However, there was Splendor’s light as well, illuminating the nine major worlds and three thousand minor worlds. Everything touched by this light became petrified.

“It’s the end.” A primordial immortal felt hopeless.

Spectators within Dusk were shocked enough. They had just escaped the petrification, only to see Li Qiye stop the slash.

Heavenly Whale was the most astounded out of them all. All the miracles seen by him previously couldn’t amount to this one.

“Is he still an immortal?” One immortal dropped to the ground.

If Li Qiye claimed to be an “immortal”, no other immortals would agree since he appeared to be on a different plane of existence.

“That’s it!” Heavenly Whale fled right away.

Alas, Li Qiye pulled him back and forcefully separated him from Incineration. The body then fell on top of the platform.

Heavenly Whale’s two tendrils flailed desperately as if trying to escape.

“What now?” Li Qiye raised him in the air.

“Do as you will. If I even let out the slightest frown, I’m no man.” Heavenly Whale knew he couldn’t escape.

“You’re not a man anyway, just a clownfish.” Li Qiye smiled.

“You’re the clown, your whole family is full of clowns!” He cursed since he couldn’t be forgiven.

He hated it when others called him a clownfish. After all, he was Heavenly Whale, an immortal among fish and a king among immortals.

“Still acting tough, I see.” Li Qiye was amused.

“I am tough, death isn’t anything to be afraid of, just kill me.” He said.

“Yes, there’s something more frightening than death.” Li Qiye said.

“So what, everything’s going to be destroyed anyway. Take what you want.” He said.

“That’s fine, I’m going to get some useful information.” Li Qiye smiled.
