Chapter 6900: Blood and Flesh As One

Chapter 6900: Blood and Flesh As One

“Please enlighten us, Your Highness.” Immortal Devourer bowed.

Guangmai gazed at the world’s heart with greed hidden deep in his eyes. Others simply couldn’t see it.

No one grasped just how obsessed he was with this world’s heart. Of course, he wasn’t lying about the possibility of creating a world either.

He wanted it all for himself after thoroughly researching it through the years. He would fuse the heart into his dao, fortifying a foundation to become a celestial immortal.

However, he also needed the alliance’s help. They would become paved steps for him to get there.

All of them, Controller included, mistook him for one of their own. They thought he would be responsible since the alliance was his home.

After all, fallen immortals had nowhere else to go. They were shunned by other worlds and hunted by other alliances.

There was a precedent to this since Mang’s generation. They banded together as forsaken ones for the sake of survival. Zhao Dachui was the prime example of trust.

Therefore, since Guangmai had an even stronger connection to Mang, they had no reason to doubt him.

Guangmai, in truth, only wanted to become a celestial immortal. He could always start a new alliance afterward, one far stronger than ever.

Most importantly, the new alliance would not bear the same infamy as Devouring. It could even be accepted by other worlds. At that point, he would have surpassed his master.

Walking on the corpses of the current alliance didn’t bother him in the slightest. He was delayed due to his injuries after fighting Genesis.

Now, he had become stronger than before. Most importantly, the elusive world’s heart showed up randomly.

Alas, the others had no idea of the ambition and obsession clouding his mind. He simply stared at the heart in silence.

“Your Highness.” Fire Immortal said.

Controller did take note of this strange expression. Nevertheless, he trusted Guangmai since he had risked his life for the alliance numerous times before his sudden appearance.

“We can use Dark Teleport.” Guangmai said.

“To get there? It does reduce the period of illumination.” Big-foot agreed.

“Not only that, let overlords go.” Guangmai stared at the sixty-seven overlords.

They shuddered since they didn’t want to go first.

“Since you are weaker, the dao heart illumination will be weaker. I can borrow your bodies to seize the heart.” Guangmai said.

Since they were one, Guangmai could handle the suppression of the dao heart at the overlord level easily.

Nonetheless, they still feared their heart devil breaking during the process.

“Rest assured, Brothers, I will be swift and obtain the dao heart before the worst.” Guangmai said: “Glory will be ours, so will the new world.”

“For the new world.” The overlords agreed, believing in the primordial immortal.

With new resources, perhaps they would be able to become immortals.

“I want to see how strong the foe is.” Immortal Devourer said.

“Can’t be stronger than our formation unless he is a celestial immortal.” Guangmai said.

“Right.” The others became confident.

They knew all the current celestial immortals and clearly, this person was not part of that list. The true challenge was the illumination. If the person or Golden Lamp were to resist, they would simply destroy both.

“Let us start.” Guangmai was pleased with this development. Everything was going as planned.
