Emperor’s Domination

Chapter 6859: Min Ren’s Battlefield

Chapter 6859: Min Ren’s Battlefield

Li Qiye only smiled and didn’t answer, gazing into the distance.

“You want to go now, Young Noble?” The bear asked softly.

“I should take a look.” Li Qiye nodded.

“I know the battlefield is there but I can’t enter.” The bear said.

“Min Ren’s Battlefield?” Thunder Emperor became emotional.

“That’s the one.” The bear nodded.

“So it’s right here in Golden Lamp.” She had heard of this legend before – the battle between Immortal Emperor Min Ren and Mang.

Everyone knew how Min Ren’s alliance disrupted the opponents with one battle after another. Eventually, their leaders died in battle.

Few details were known, only that the final battle took place in Stygian. No one was able to find the battlefield.

Some cultivators had speculated that it took place in Golden Lamp. However, logic was against this theory. After all, both were celestial immortals. It was expected that their battle would destroy worlds, Stygian included. How did Golden Lamp survive the fight?

“Where is it?” She looked around the core but didn’t notice anything.

“Right in front of us.” The bear said.

“In front of us?” She still didn’t notice anything.

“Don’t bother, I couldn’t come up with a way to open it.” The bear shook his head.

The emperor gave up because she was only an emperor.

“The power isn’t something you two can endure.” Li Qiye sighed and told the two.

He suddenly pulled their hand and everything turned dark.

“This is…” She felt a devouring presence, akin to a sardine being swallowed by a whale. The inside of the stomach was dark but it knew what had happened.

The devouring power was unfathomable. Bear Immortal couldn’t last long despite being protected by his master’s banner.

Fortunately, Li Qiye’s will prevented actual damage. An alligator might be able to chomp through any foe but not a boulder.

They heaved a sigh of relief while following behind him.

“Mang’s birthplace.” Li Qiye said.

“Not the battlefield?” This confused the emperor.

“We’re at the end of the river of time.” The bear said, instantly understanding the situation.

The river of time took them back to Mang’s origin – a place that lower existences couldn’t spy on. Only celestial immortals and above could do so.

“He needed to return to his origin and transform it into a dark power, one pure enough to swallow the dao heart here.” Li Qiye explained.

“Could he have done it?” The emperor shuddered.

“It’s a battle between the oldest entity and the dao heart’s determination. From what I can tell, Golden Immortal didn’t truly reach the stage of being indelible so Mang could have done it, given enough time.” Li Qiye said.

“It’s a good thing Immortal Emperor Min Ren was there.” She said softly: “It was almost over.”

“Yes, the world’s heart couldn’t have escaped then. This world would have been finished, not even a true immortal could save it then.” Li Qiye said.

“What is the world’s heart?” The bear asked.

Li Qiye didn’t answer and continued onward. Meanwhile, the duo felt something pulling them in.

This river of time had been infected by darkness. One step could be a century or ten thousand years…

The duo had never seen a dark river of time before. Who knows how long it had been, but they eventually saw light.

“Clank!” They heard the hymn of a saber.
