Chapter 6750: Three Divine Artifacts

Chapter 6750: Three Divine Artifacts

In the present, the so-called divine beasts here differed from those found in Divine Firmament. The latter didn’t recognize them due to their diluted bloodlines.

Moreover, true divine beasts had incredibly long lifespans. Most would return to Divine Firmament in time with Qing Ji being a rare exception.

Unfortunately, despite putting up numerous stealth barriers and escape methods, Empress Hong Tian still found it.

“So the bones of that divine beast.” Phoenix Emperor understood.

“Yes.” Li Qiye nodded.

“Hmm…” He pondered: “This happened too long ago so we know little of the details. Rumor has it that some of these bones have been refined into artifacts. I can’t speak with certainty on this matter.”

He didn’t wish to divulge the wrong details lest he waste Li Qiye’s time.

“We’ll know after taking a look.” Xiaoyue said.

“Immortal, I don’t have them. There should be three, one is in Sky Zenith, another is in Yellow Sky Sect, and then the last…” He paused momentarily: “The last should be in Venerable Dragon Kingdom but it went missing.”

“That’s fine, just have to go there.” Li Qiye said.

He felt his scalp tingling because these were ultimate heirlooms. The other parties wouldn’t just take them out for no reason. Of course, this immortal could wipe them out in the blink of an eye.

“Immortal, I have connections in Yellow Sky Sect. Would it be alright if I go ask if we could borrow it from the ancestor there?” He said. Although he was prestigious in this world, it wasn’t to the point where he could casually borrow divine artifacts.

Moreover, Dragon Ancestor of Yellow Sky Sect was stronger than him. Yu De of Sky Zenith was also stronger, potentially being the strongest cultivator in Beastmaster.

Nevertheless, he didn’t wish for them to anger this immortal and be wiped out. All of Beastmaster might suffer as well, his kingdom included.

“We will take them, no need to ask.” Xiaoyue said.

“Immortal, please be merciful and give me a chance.” He bowed to Li Qiye.

“Out of appreciation for your kindness, you may go borrow them. Of course, these artifacts might not be the ones I want.” LI Qiye said.

“At least one of them should be made from divine bones.” He smiled: “I will go to Yellow Sky and Sky Zenith. The last one is missing but Veneragon Dragon Kingdom is under our jurisdiction. I will command its lord to look for it.”

“As you wish. I will go to Venerable Dragon Kingdom to look for the third.” Li Qiye said.

“Please do, Immortal. If it is still there, they will hand it over with both hands.” He said. The other two artifacts aside, he could command the current lord of this kingdom to give the artifact to Li Qiye or seize it himself.

“I hope so.” Li Qiye said.

“I will do my best.” He felt nervous about this ordeal. Borrowing divine artifacts wasn’t easy.

Dragon Ancestor was one thing since they were friends. He could persuade the ancestor but not the cultivator behind Sky Zenith.

“I am relatively confident about Yellow Sky but not Sky Zenith. As far as I know, they have a supreme overlord behind them.” He decided to tell the truth.

“An overlord is not qualified to speak before the young noble.” Xiaoyue remarked.

“Yes, of course.” He nodded immediately: “But, this overlord might be from Ancient World, potentially part of a primordial immortal’s lineage.”

It would be problematic if this overlord were a member of a primordial immortal’s faction in Ancient, one of the nine major worlds.
