Chapter 6713: Abandoned
Chapter 6713: Abandoned
Primal Yin Immortal Ghost passed away in rage alone, no unwillingness or despair. After all, he expected to be killed by Desolate Ancestor.
However, his ally abandoned him instead of struggling to the end. If he could live again, the first thing he would do is kill Bao Pu, not Desolate Ancestor.
“Bao Pu!” He let out one last roar before suffering a true death.
“Rumble!” Meanwhile, Bao Pu used all of his powers to break the barrier.
He believed in the phrase, rather you than me. His newly gained powers broke through one barrier after another; only one remained.
Alas, Calamitous Edge didn’t wait for him. Everything turned dark except its glint.
The slash gave the feeling of starting a new world. Primal chaos and primordial affinity filled the surroundings. The blade itself was a holy arc purifying everything; Bao Pu feared this the most.
“Open!” He was so close to getting away but couldn’t endure the slash.
Therefore, he utilized his power, along with the redemption ground of Evil Transformation. Within were the resources and treasures of a primordial immortal.
A wall of utmost kindness, an ocean of wisdom, and the greatest natural artifacts emerged.
“Splendor’s End!” Bao Pu built a great defense with them, reaching the primordial level. This was far beyond what he could muster with his cultivation. Resplendent wings belonging to the worm appeared behind him.
“Bam!” The slash struck the redemption ground containing Evil Transformation’s resource accumulation across the epochs.
It cut through the wall of kindness, the ocean of wisdom, and the other treasures. Nevertheless, Bao Pu had a chance to breathe.
He saw hope after surviving the first slash and said: “Immortal Corpseworm Dao!”
He wanted to see if an ambush from the worm would be enough to kill her, completely reversing the tides.
“Whoosh!” The worm soared behind her but retreated the moment it felt Calamitious Edge’s aura.
“Immortal Corpseworm Dao!” Bao Pu didn’t know why the worm stopped but he activated his powers again, forcing the worm to attack.
Something unbelievable happened – the worm and its wings coiled into a ball before ripping away from Bao Pu.
“Ahgh!” Blood spattered everywhere amidst his screams and the worm’s shrieking. It broke free but still had pieces of his flesh clinging on.
The worm did this of its own volition. In a sense, the two were one, indistinguishable from each other. Thus, it paid a heavy price to get away.
Nevertheless, it didn’t care at all and sped away, breaking through the final barrier and disappearing into space.
“No!” He roared while spectators watched in astonishment.
Bao Pu relied on this worm taken from a primordial immortal to obtain a similar power. He created a unique path toward the immortal realm.
Without it, he couldn’t have controlled Evil Transformation’s redemption ground or devour his flesh.
No one expected the worm to break away from him, enduring grievous injuries. Bao Pu, least of all, found this unfathomable.
