Chapter 6700: Chongming’s Immortal Step

The primordial power frightened all living beings in Three Immortals, enough to kill other immortals.

“Limitless Devouring.” Li Qiye raised his head, seemingly becoming a divine beast with no limbs, only wings.

It had no distinct front or back, just a gaping maw from either side.

“Rumble!” It accepted all the incoming primordial power without growing larger. It burped afterward, seemingly only a bit full.

“A true gluttonous beast at full completion shouldn’t have been able to devour the primordial like this.” Taichu remarked.

“Yes.” Li Qiye appeared again and smiled: “My dimensions are indeed larger but in the forgotten time, one beast was able to reach the limit of the primordial stage.”

“A celestial immortal.” Taichu knew.

“That’s it.” Li Qiye nodded.

“I see. Well, here is another!” Taichu laughed and conjured primordial laws. They turned into spears and soared forward.

They were sharper than any immortal weapon. Even Fiendish Ground’s spear paled in comparison.

They also sealed time and space in their trajectory, preventing anyone from hiding.

“How will you dodge this when heaven and earth are against you?” Taichu said while releasing the rain of spears against Li Qiye.

An immortal could only hope to endure the barrage but somehow, Li Qiye’s movements were faster than the spears.

He rose into the air and stepped gracefully, always taking the initiative and landing somewhere else before their destructive impact. He flawlessly evaded the rain and closed in on Taichu.

This was a beautiful display of apogee – flawless yet subtle mastery beyond calculation.

“What is this, Sacred Teacher?” Taichu asked.

“Chongming’s immortal step.” Li Qiye said. [1]

“Steps can reach this level?” Taichu couldn’t help but say.

“This is what it means to know yourself and the enemy.” Li Qiye said: “This is at the celestial stage, I am always one step ahead while following your rhythm.”

“So you stole my path and left me no room to walk.” Taichu laughed.

As they conversed, they traversed through countless spatial and temporal dimensions. Even overlords couldn’t keep up with them.

“Yes, there is no path left for you.” Li Qiye broke Taichu’s rhythm, preventing him from moving: “Take this punch, back to the origin!”

As he raised his fist, a bestial roar echoed. It was so simple and unadorned – just the dao without any law or profundities. Nevertheless, this punch blasted everything back to the origin.

“Primordial Heaven Seal Fist!” Taichu roared and struck back with all of his power.

A hole appeared in the sky above, revealing tribulations. This punch enraged the high heaven due to its potential.

If he dared to aim it up, the high heaven would send more tribulations down in retaliation.

“Bam!” The punches collided in full force. Shockwaves slashed through the battlefield like divine rings, slicing everything instantly.

The battlefield couldn’t withstand the aftershocks and had cracks everywhere.

The two fists remained locked together, neither side had the upper hand.

“Impressive.” Li Qiye praised.

He used the innate dao of a kun peng, the power of the origin. However, Taichu still blocked it successfully – a testament to his mastery.

“This isn’t all, Sacred Teacher!” Taichu smiled and harnessed the power of the primordial tree behind him. The tree shouldered three thousand worlds. Now, a tree appeared in each world.

His power erupted as a result, adding more strength to his punch.
