Chapter 6618: You’re The Best
Chapter 6618: You’re The Best
“Damn, Li Xingchen, did you channel all your power to this seal?!” Calamities shouted.
The core didn’t stop at all, creating more mirrors to repel the bolts.
“No, your whole life, you bastard! Why don’t you just live and let live?!” Calamities cursed.
The only things answering him were more visual phenomena.
Of course, Calamities had too much pride to give up, not wanting to become a joke losing to a treasure. Moreover, he could go all out since this was an internal world. No one else was going to get hurt.
Thus, he found joy in freedom despite cursing Li Xingchen repeatedly. The latter couldn’t respond due to the metamorphosis. He had shed down to the ocean of Myriad Star Water, wanting to become the Lord of All Things. Perhaps he didn’t know what was going on at all.
“Brat, I will break your dog head the next time I see you.” It had been a while since Calamities last went all out.
“Hurry up and become this Lord of Creation or whatever or we’ll all die from old age, no one will play with you then!” He summoned the strongest tribulations and shook the core violently.
Li Xingchen, Calamities, Supreme Black Ancestor, and First Vine were overlords on the side of Life and Death Heaven.
They participated in wars together and had deep ties despite the rare meetings. Alas, First Vine passed away and Li Xingchen transformed, leaving behind Supreme Black Ancestor and him.
Supreme Black Ancestor was tasked with protecting Life and Death Heaven, unable to travel anywhere. As for him, he had to live reclusively due to his tribulations.
Therefore, seeing World Seal and Li Xingchen was akin to seeing two old friends despite the fight. Others couldn’t grasp what he felt at this moment.
“Got enough?” Li Qiye appeared and asked during the stalemate.
Calamities became startled because no one else should be here. He turned around and couldn’t believe his own eyes, shouting: “Damn, Boss!”
During his daze, the tribulations around him flooded toward Li Qiye, enough to destroy anyone.
“Boom!” Li Qiye summoned the primordial and prevented the bolts from approaching.
“It-it’s really you, Boss!” He stammered.
“Your remnant tribulations can’t do anything to me.” Li Qiye smiled and sent the bolts back to their owner.
“Bam!” Calamities was sent flying with all the tribulations contained within. The backlash kept him on the ground for quite a while.
When he stood back up, he looked down in disbelief. All along, he was surrounded by tribulations despite his best efforts. Bolts always leaked out and engulfed him painfully.
“Boss, you’re the best!” He shouted.
His true form could finally be seen. A youth wearing plain clothes with several cloth bags sewn on top. He had a high-standing bun and a bowl-cut hairstyle despite not being a child any longer, making him look comical.
He had a large, round face and a cheerful smile – one that made people feel a sense of familiarity. However, the most conspicuous thing about him was a black stone on his chest. It had pierced through the flesh with tendrils extending above his shoulders and down to his back. It clung tightly like a backpack, always attempting to merge with him.
