Emperor’s Domination

Chapter 6009: I Only Want One Treasure

Chapter 6009: I Only Want One Treasure

Dragonform’s arrival shocked everyone, weak and strong alike. Although he didn’t use his imperial aura to intimidate the crowd, they still trembled with fear. Some dropped to the ground, unable to stand straight.

He was among the five Grand Emperors in Enigma, ranking top two.

“Half-step apex.” The desolate gods feared him.

For many cultivators, obtaining one dao fruit to become a Grand Emperor seemed impossible enough.

When one had twelve, they could craft an immortal shell and eventually find anima, creating an anima tree. The tree's strength was often the deciding factor in battles of this level.

After obtaining the tree, there were stages for anima - infancy, sturdy, stately, and world’s canopy.

Reaching the stately stage was the goal for most emperors. At the canopy stage, one could enter the half-step realm before the apex.

Dragonform was in the half-step realm, so someone such as Ironthorn Grand Emperor still became frozen in his presence. The gap was insurmountable.

“I only want one treasure, will you be kind enough to part with it?” He gazed at the fortress and said.

Goldvase Angel and the manager became tense after hearing this powerful cultivator.

“Splendor Square always adheres to the principle of fair trade. If that is your wish, then we welcome it. If you wish to use force, we will not acquiesce a single step.” The manager remained steadfast.

They could be destroyed by him but their principles would not be broken.

“I only want Grand Wisdom Wheel.” Dragonform repeated.

Ordinary experts have never heard of this but Ironthorn and his peers became emotional.

“Visceraless Young Noble’s remnant treasure.” Ghost-eyed Desolate God murmured.

“Sure, as long as you pay.” The manager said.

“Looks like you want it the hard way, don’t blame me for being rude then.” Dragonform’s eyes gleamed menacingly, seemingly freezing the battlefield.

“Just take down the fortress first.” The Ouyang Clan Master shouted, feeling emboldened. After all, Dragonform hailed from his clan.

“Break!” Ghost-eyed, Ironthorn, Mountainbreak, and Innumerable led the charge.

“Rumble!” These powerful cultivators unleashed devastating attacks, leaving chasms on the ground.

“Crack!” The energy citadels cracked under the constant barrages.

“Break!” Dragonform joined with a draconic punch, crushing through laws with the image of a great dragon.

Spectators felt as if they were the ones being punched; their flesh and soul obliterated in mere seconds. They turned pale and dropped to the ground.

“Bam!” The damaged defenses of the fortress crumbled with this final attack.

“Retreat!” Goldvase and the manager had expected this but when the time came, they had to give the order.

“Kill them all!” The invaders rushed into the fortress and blood began to spill. Screams could be heard everywhere.

Members of Splendor couldn’t maintain the barriers and began scaling the layers while fighting.

Alas, their utter defeat was only a matter of time since their opponents were powered by greed.

“Ahh!” Nevertheless, they put up a valiant effort and took many down with them.

Rivers of blood and mountains of corpses took over the fortress. Eventually, Goldvase and the manager along with a group of survivors made it to the third layer of treasures.

The most powerful invaders have arrived and surrounded them. Death was inevitable.

“Boom!” The strongest Dragonform immediately entered the oceanic layer, passing through the seals to make it to a particular treasure.

He removed the seal and took it out - a heavenly wheel emitting waves of light that didn’t belong to this world.

“Grand Wisdom Wheel.” Others salivated and became envious.

Jealousy and envy aside, none dared to rob him of it.

“Fellow Daoist, surrender now and open the treasuries, we will spare you then.” Ghost-eyed Desolate God said.

“We would rather die before opening them.” The manager refused.
