Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1505 - 1546: Unease
The mother and her two children suddenly burst into tears together.

After Isabella Yowell massaged Mrs. Landon for a while, Mr. May walked into the room, only to see Mrs. Landon reclining on the sofa, resting with her eyes closed.
"How is your mother?" Mr. May asked.
"She seems a bit tired, but she’ll be fine after a rest." Isabella replied, glancing at Mr. May, "Uncle, could you please look after my mom? I’ll go take Mireille to wash up and let her sleep early."
"Go ahead." Mr. May said, having already prepared a room for Isabella and her children.
This time, Mrs. Landon and her two children were going to stay here for a few days, and Mr. May had arranged everything properly.
Isabella didn’t take much effort to find her daughter, who was lingering around Jeremiah May, although Jeremiah looked uninterested in her.
This sight made Isabella’s heart sink, as if she saw the shadow of another person. Her daughter and Jeremiah now, wasn’t it just like her and that man back then...
She had racked her brains trying to make that man love her, but what about that man? Even though he treated her well on the surface, his heart was never with her. And later, when he found out she had deceived him, he became ruthless and merciless towards her.
She had deceived him, but so what? Didn’t she also spend ten years of her youth? Besides, she really loved him! She wanted to be with him forever! How could he be so heartless to her!
"Mireille, let’s go back to the room and get ready for bed." Isabella Yowell stepped forward and said to her daughter.
Mireille Yowell looked reluctant, and after Isabella urged her again, she unhappily said goodnight to Jeremiah May before following her mother upstairs.
Jeremiah May didn’t even glance at Mireille; his eyes were just gazing in the direction of the servants’ quarters outside the window, wondering how that little one was. Did her mother scold her?
The little fool couldn’t even speak, probably couldn’t even say the usual sweet things little girls say to please adults.
Mireille, who kept looking back every few steps, noticed that Jeremiah wasn’t looking at her, and immediately became furious again, still angry even after returning to the room with her mother.
"Alright, don’t be angry, it’s not a big deal. You’ll be able to see Jeremiah every day here at the May family, just talk to Jeremiah more. But don’t act like your little princess self in front of him, okay?" Isabella said.
"But Jeremiah seems to like that fool!" Mireille pouted, having heard from other servants that the girl who collided with her was a fool.
"Is she a fool?" Isabella was a bit surprised.
"Yes, the servants said that the girl’s head was injured and she became foolish." Mireille said.
"Since she’s a fool, you don’t need to worry." Isabella said, "You are the little princess of the Landon Family, aren’t you better than a fool?" But that fool made her feel as if her appearance was somewhat familiar.
Was it really just because, as Uncle May said, the fool somewhat resembled her mother?
Or was there something else... Why when she saw her mother holding the little girl today, did she feel such a strong sense of unease in an instant? It was the first time she saw her mother cry, apart from when her mother went mad, and it was because of a stranger’s child.
