Chapter 416: Dire Future[AVAILABLE FOR FREE!]

Jay returned to his room on the third floor and sat on the bed, lost in thought.

He still couldn’t understand how someone like Zeix, who could enter Phantom Form and escape through the Inventory Plane, could still end up dying.

All the preparations he had made were enough to save almost everyone in his faction, and Idran’s talent confirmed that. Which meant whatever Zeix faced in the future would be so powerful that escape wouldn’t even be possible.

Jay wanted to find out more, and now he had the means. With Idran choosing to become a Minor Sigil Holder, Jay gained access to║CIPHER║, while Drogor chose to refuse.

If it had been earlier, Jay might have seen it as a loss. But now, with his ability to use Strength Energy thanks to Pompa, Drogor’s talent held little value.

As for Drogor’s bloodline, Jay paid it no mind since he couldn’t use any bloodline anyway. His only hope lay in awakening his dormant Orpheus Bloodline, though he had no clue how.

Perhaps he would find a solution in the Bloodline Realm. But that wasn’t the priority right now. He needed to better understand the threats in the Bloodline Realm and prepare in advance.

Before using Idran’s talent, Jay synchronized with Stage-6 Mastery of║CIPHER║and learned everything he needed to understand how it worked. It allowed him to access information from the past, present, or future by spending one use, provided it fell within the scope of its mastery.

Idran’s attempts to learn about the Bloodline Realm directly always failed, as it required higher mastery, likely Grade-9 or even Grade-10.

Still, he found a workaround by looking into the future of those who would soon enter the Bloodline Realm. However, the information was vague, and the visions were brief, costing more uses of║CIPHER║.

At Stage-6 mastery, the uses increased from 15 to 21 and refreshed every 24 hours. Idran had already spent more than half of his charges, but it didn’t matter for Jay. He had his own set of 21 uses, just as skill cooldowns didn’t overlap between Sigil Holders.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Only a few talent resources, like Zeix’s Inventory Space or Vral’s Perpetual Stamina Reserve, were shared.

Jay spent one of the 21 uses to see if the outcome had changed. He got his answer soon after, but it only showed who would die and when, not how or under what circumstances.

The outcome remained the same as Idran had mentioned earlier. Three members would die. Zeix was foreseen to die in 23 hours, while the other two would die at 6 and 9 hours respectively.

Hey Folks, sorry for the inconvenience. I wanted to give a small update regarding Volume 4 and future chapter releases.

To be honest, because of piracy concerns, I seriously considered not releasing the remaining chapters of Volume 4 publicly anymore. But at the same time, I don’t want the current readers who have been supporting and following the story consistently to miss out either.

So from Chapter 401 onwards, I’ll continue doing weekly releases here, but only around the first one-fourth of each chapter will be posted publicly.

To read the full chapter, you can simply join my Patreon’s free tier. The complete chapters will be available there, and it doesn’t cost anything to access them.

You can give it a try if you’d like. And honestly, more people joining the Patreon, even through the free tier, would really encourage and support me to keep going consistently.

Thank you for all the support so far. I truly appreciate everyone who’s been reading the journey until now.
