Chapter 104: Request from a Maou

The next day while training with Xenovia and Kiba, learning sword techniques from Kiba and doing mock battles with Xenovia to get used to fighting people with blades, Grayfia entered the room

"Blaze-sama, there is a guest for you" she stated

"A guest for me?" Blaze questioned

"Indeed, if you could follow me, Xenovia-sama should join us too, as from the details that I have heard she may also be required" Grayfia continued

"Me as well?" Xenovia also asked "who is it and what do they want from us?"

"I am not at liberty to say, but I will say that the person in question holds a considerable position in the underworld and that it would not be right to keep them waiting, as such it would be in our best interest to make haste" Grayfia explained

"Ok, just give us a second then" Blaze remarked, wiping herself down with a towel and putting on some deodorant in place of a full wash in order to save time, Xenovia doing the same

After being led to the dining room that served as a meeting room when not in use, Grayfia moved to the side as the doors opened

"Blaze-chan!" exclaimed a voice from the other side as an energetic figure jumped through the doors, wrapping her arms around Blaze's waist

"What the?" Blaze exclaimed, taking a moment to realise who it was "Serafall"

"That's me, but I would prefer you to call me Levi-chan" she chided playfully "but for once never mind that, I heard what you did to Venelana, can you do that to anyone? can you do that to me so that So-tan and I can have lots of lovey dovey moments together" she asked excitedly

"I can and I will" Herm affirmed

Unfortunately for her though, Blaze knew exactly what she was going to say, and due to the amount of times that she had wanted Herm to shut up she had finally found out how to make it so that other people couldn't hear her, but unfortunately for Blaze it only worked for people she wasn't contracted with, meaning that Xenovia heard what Herm had said

"Wait, she ca-" Xenovia began

"Shhhhh" Blaze stopped her, not wanting to make her relationships more complicated, especially since she found effectively having 4 wives as of this moment and having no doubt that Herm would try to force her to have even more in the future, she wanted to hold Herm back for a bit, even if in the future it ended up being pointless

Turning back to Serafall Blaze answered "unfortunately I'm unable to do it myself, especially since I only recently made a contract with Venelana" not technically lying as it wasn't her that made the contracts meaning that it was true that she was unable to do it herself

"Ahhh, that's to bad" Serafall sulked

"Was that the reason you came here?" Blaze continued

"It wasn't the main reason, but I figured that while I was here I would ask" Serafall shrugged "No, the main reason I am here is that I need your help with a job"

"My help? what would a maou need my help for? it's not that you want me to star in magical girl Levi-tan is it?" Blaze wondered

"That's a great idea" Serafall beamed "you could be an extra ranger who only shows up in times of crisis, you could be magical girl futa friend"

"I regret opening my mouth" Blaze sighed "if it's not that then what do you need my help with?"

"Ahem, right, back to business" Serafall coughed, calming herself back down and taking on a more formal tone "actually we have had contact from an interesting source, an island that secludes itself from the world and has a species that is unique to the island that have extended an invitation to you specifically, and as head of interspecies relations the job has fallen to me to ask you for your help"

"Ok, that starts to explain things" Blaze commented "but why me? and why did Grayfia advise Xenovia to come with me to see you"

"That is because of the species that live on the island" Serafall explained "it might make more sense if I tell you the name of the island, it is called Themyscira"

"Themyscira, as in the island of the amazons" Xenovia exclaimed in surprise

"The very same" nodded Serafall "until now they have remained separate from the world, even staying separate to their own mythology, meaning that even though the Greeks and Roman gods have agreed to stop fighting and have chosen peace, the amazons are technically not a part of this ceasefire, as such we don't know much about them, in fact this is the one of the few times that they have communicated with the outside world"

"Then how do they know about me then?" Blaze questioned

"During peace talks with the Greek's we explained about our rating games due to the Greek's enjoying the act of combat as a form of entertainment, seeing it as a good conversation point and saying that if their was peace between our factions that in the future it might be possible for them to take part in the rating games, something that interested them greatly, as such it was decided that we would set up relay circles so that the different parts of the Greek mythology could watch the battles and want to promote peace between our races so that they may join, they must have seen Blaze during one of her rating games and developed an interest in her"

"So they want me for something?" Blaze asked

"Yes, it is unknown what it is that they want you for, but given that they explicitly asked for you and that we have had no other contact since, you are currently our only link to an amazon tribe, I ask for your help" Serafall bowed her head "for the sake of peace between more races I can only ask you of this"

Stunned by how serious Serafall was taking this due to only having interacted with her when she was more in the past, even during the gathering of the young generation of devils where she didn't seem to act this seriously "Ok, I'll do it" Blaze responded

"Thank you Blaze Aurum" Serafall said seriously, showing a side of herself that truly made Blaze feel like she had the aura of a Maou, and that it was not just due to her power that she had been chosen, but also because she truly embodied the position when it mattered

"Then what am I here for?" Xenovia asked from the side

"Amazons respect women who fight with their bodies, as such as the wielder of Durandal and having decent strength yourself, combined with your easy-going nature I believe that you would be able to befriend the amazons best and create a positive impression through battle" Serafall explained

"Then will Koneko be coming with us as well?" Blaze inquired

"I saw her on the way here and offered for her to come with us but she turned me down, saying that she felt like she would stick out to much on an island like that" Serafall remarked

"Why would she feel like that?" Blaze wondered to herself

"Maybe because of all the long legged, thick thighed big breasted women that will be everywhere on the island" Herm suggested with a chuckle "for someone in the midst of their growth being surrounded by something like that would feel like she was being punished for something"

"So it will just be us 3?" Blaze checked

"Actually 4" a voice called from the side as Rias entered the room "although I don't exactly have the physical abilities required to fight as an amazon does, I am still the leader of your peerage and your partner, as such I will also be joining you on this journey"

"Then when do we head out?" Blaze asked

"From the details on the note, the Amazon's will be sending an ambassador to lead us to the island a week from when we received the letter, that means that we need to be at the location marked on this map that was included with the letter by Monday, meaning that we have 3 days, as such we will be setting of tomorrow as the nearest location that we are able to teleport is still a days drive from the meeting location" Serafall told the group "gather what you need tonight and I will return tomorrow to come and pick you up"

"Understood, we will do our best to assist you anyway that we can" Rias responded

"Then see you girls tomorrow" Serafall smiled "bye, and Blaze I'll be in touch about getting you a role on magical girl Levi-tan" waving as she left

"What's this about magical girl Levi-tan?" Rias asked Blaze, confused by Serafall's words

"Something that I hope I don't live to regret" sighed Blaze, having been hoping that the conversation that they had been having would have made Serafall forget about that as the girls made their way to their rooms to prepare for the journey ahead.
