Liam was satisfied with how much he had grown after receiving his rewards.

His evolution had changed his race from Cursed Eye King to Lesser Evil Eye, raising his racial rank from E-Rank to D-Rank and granting him the new racial ability, Evil Eye of Reversal.

Several of his existing skills had also evolved. Dark Cutter had become Dark Scythe, Cursed Flames had evolved into Abyssal Flames, and Blood Bat Summoning had transformed into Blood Wolf Summoning. He had also gained three new Epic-Rank skills: Dark Magic, Familiar Contract, and Dark Storm.

Once he had finished checking everything, Liam returned to the Northern Forest.

He soon reached the tree where Miriel was sleeping. Sylvia followed him and appeared beside him, quietly observing her surroundings.

Liam looked at Sylvia and then pointed toward Miriel.

"Sylvia, I need you to keep her safe while I’m gone."

Sylvia looked at Miriel before nodding.

"Understood, my lord. I will protect her."

Liam nodded.

"Good. I don’t know how long I’ll be away, so make sure nothing happens to her."

Sylvia walked over to Miriel and carefully examined her.

"Don’t worry. I won’t let anyone harm her."

Liam felt relieved after hearing her answer.

He then looked at Miriel, who was still sleeping peacefully under the tree.

"She should be safe with Sylvia."

Liam had originally captured Sylvia because he needed someone powerful enough to protect Miriel. Now that Sylvia had become his servant, he could leave the Dream Dimension without having to worry about Miriel’s safety.

Liam turned his attention back to his own plans.

"There are still many things I need to figure out."

He looked at his new body and moved his arms slightly. He was still getting used to having a humanoid body after spending so long as a floating eyeball.

"First, I need to get used to this body."

He then opened his status screen again and looked at his remaining free attribute points.

"Sixty-nine points. I should probably save them until I know exactly what I need."

After closing the status screen, Liam looked toward the distance.

His trial was over, and he had gained much more than he had expected.

Now, he could finally return to the real world.

’After midnight, I should be able to return. I wonder how Mom is doing,’ Liam thought.

He waved his hand, and his Black Crystal Silk immediately moved according to his will, forming a soft mattress.

Liam adjusted its softness until it became comfortable enough to sleep on. He then lay down and looked toward the sky.

The trial would officially end in only a few hours.

With nothing else to do for the moment, Liam closed his eyes and rested.

Sylvia, however, remained awake.

She glanced at Liam for a moment before looking at Miriel, the human child she had been ordered to protect.

’Why would an anomaly like him care about such a worthless blood bag?’ she wondered as she looked at Miriel with some disdain.

Ever since she had met Liam, Sylvia had considered him an anomaly.

His abilities simply did not make sense to her, and his growth was far beyond what she considered normal.

Just as she was lost in thought, Liam suddenly sat up and looked at her.

Sylvia was startled by the sudden movement.

"M-My lord, do you need anything?" she asked.

Liam looked at her for a moment before asking, "What is the hierarchy of bloodlines among vampires?"

He remembered that vampires had different bloodline levels, with stronger bloodlines generally belonging to higher-ranking vampires.

Sylvia blinked.

"Umm, I possess the third-lowest level of vampire bloodline."

She paused before explaining.

"The lowest is the Half-Vampire bloodline. Above that is the Commoner Vampire bloodline, followed by the Noble Vampire bloodline."

"The Noble Vampire bloodline begins with Baron and then progresses to Viscount, Count, Marquis, Duke, Prince, King, Imperial, Empyrean, Ancient, and finally Progenitor."

Liam listened carefully.

’Hmm. If Sylvia’s bloodline is the third-lowest, then reversing it might allow me to turn it into one of the highest bloodlines.’

He considered the possibility for a moment before standing up.

"Don’t resist."

Sylvia looked at him in confusion.

"My lord?"

Liam walked over to her and placed his small, childlike hand against her forehead.

He then activated Reality Reversal.

A strange power entered Sylvia’s body and reached her bloodline.

However, the system immediately responded.

[ Insufficient Authority. ]

Liam frowned.

’Tch. I guess I’m still too weak to reverse her entire bloodline.’

He withdrew his hand and looked at Sylvia’s status screen instead.

Since he couldn’t directly alter her bloodline, he wanted to see exactly what kind of power she currently possessed.

Liam carefully read through the entire status screen.

’Level 100 and Tier 2. She’s much stronger than I am right now.’

He looked at Sylvia again.

’She’s also an A-Rank creature.’

Liam rubbed his chin as he thought about her bloodline.

’If Reality Reversal can’t reverse her entire bloodline, maybe I can reverse something smaller.’

His eyes moved back to the status screen.

’There should be a way to improve her strength without directly changing the entire bloodline.’

Liam then remembered the Evil Eye of Reversal he had just awakened.

’Maybe I can combine it with Reality Reversal later.’

He decided not to experiment any further for now.

"I’ll figure out a way to improve your bloodline later," Liam said.

Sylvia looked at him in surprise.

"You intend to improve my bloodline?"

"Yes."

Liam nodded.

"But for now, just focus on protecting Miriel."

Sylvia bowed slightly.

"Understood, my lord."

Liam returned to his mattress and lay down again.
