Having the Goddess of Nature in their Empire was going to bring a ton of benefits. But from the beginning, the Celestial Terrain wasn’t interested. The Empress was very overprotective of her daughter. The Empress made it clear that Riya would only marry someone from her race. But two years later, Riya ended up being engaged to the Emperor of the Istarin Empire. This whole thing felt like a slap to the face of the Emperor and the Crown Prince. Because of this reason, the Emperor and the Crown Prince kind of held a grudge against the Celestial Terrain, the Empress, and the Goddess. The Dune Sovereignty would have attacked the Celestial Terrain if the Empire did not have any connections to the Main Continent. The Celestial Terrain had a lot of connections even in the Main Continent. The consequences would have been troublesome. So the Emperor decided to slowly increase their military powers before pressuring the Celestial Terrain. But unexpectedly the Goddess was engaged to the Istarin Emperor. As the 9 carriages passed by Riya and the villagers, everyone became curious about the people sitting inside the carriages. “I wonder who are they?”
