Tang Meng drove Ling Yun’s Land Rover, while Tie Xiaohu drove the black Mercedes-Benz towards the Ordinary People’s Clinic.

Ling Yun left the Spyker C8 at home decisively. It was cool, but it was definitely not something to be taken lightly.

“Big Brother Yun, when do you have time to listen to my business development plan?”

Tang Meng lit a cigarette and took a puff hungrily. He turned towards Ling Yun.

Tang Meng was a brilliant young man who should be properly used. Ling Yun handed all businesses, including the Ordinary People’s Clinic, to Tang Meng to handle. Tang Meng wasn’t stupid. He could already see his beautiful future.

“You do what you deem appropriate. My only condition is not to lose money,” Ling Yun replied offhandedly.

Ling Yun had enough troubles. He really didn’t want to worry about money and affect his cultivation.

“Okay, just take it that I didn’t say anything,” Tang Meng responded after being speechless for quite some time.

His nose was rubbed into the ground again.

They arrived at the Ordinary People’s Clinic after just three kilometers.

The streets were still bustling.

Ling Yun turned his sight to the Ordinary People’s Clinic and found its doors welcoming him. The windows were cleaned, and a familiar figure was busy mopping the floor.

Tang Meng had extinguished the unfinished cigarette and pointed his chin towards that figure. “Big Brother Yun, Sister Rou has been living here since the renovations were done. She has been keeping the place spotless waiting for you to be home.”

Tang Meng was a nouveau riche, but he was deeply impressed by Yao Rou. She could bear anything for Ling Yun. She was too strong.

A tingly warm feeling spread from within Ling Yun’s heart. He got out of the car and went into the clinic.

“I’m here to see the doctor,” Ling Yun said.

“Sorry, our clinic is not… Oh!”

Yao Rou replied out of habit but realized something was amiss. That was a familiar sound, a sound that she had been waiting for. She looked up and gave an excited squeal.

Yao Rou was the only one in the clinic. Ling Yun moved in front of her in a jiffy and embraced her.

“Dang…” The mop hit the floor crisply.

Ling Yun hugged Yao Rou tightly, feeling her heart beating like a drum. He pushed her away gently to look at her face. He raised his hand to wipe away the glistening sweat on her forehead.

“Didn’t I tell you not to work? Not obedient,” Ling Yun chided Yao Rou endearingly. Yao Rou gave a small smile.

She slipped out of Ling Yun’s embrace in a panic when she saw Tie Xiaohu and Tang Meng entering.

It was a clinic, not a hotel.

Ling Yun looked back at them angrily. They found a chair each and sat down as though nothing was wrong.

“The weather is great today.” Tang Meng winked at Tie Xiaohu.

“Yes, the monsoon is late this year. It will probably only start at the end of the month,” Tie Xiaohu complimented smoothly.

“Why don’t the both of you go and die,” Ling Yun said grudgingly.

Yao Rou giggled in shyness and delight.

Ling Yun knew the two of them were joking deliberately. He wasn’t that anxious anyway. He took Yao Rou’s small hand in his and inspected the interior of his clinic.

Ling Yun needed no injections, transfusions, nor medicine for his treatments. There was, therefore, no modern medical equipment typical of that of other clinics.

The first floor of two hundred square meters was separated into three major compartments. One of which was for registration, while the second was for Ling Yun to check the patients.

The third and largest compartment had twelve single beds. The bedsheets were pure white. There was a two-meter high wooden board separating each bed for privacy.

There were several three-meter long benches in the corridor, which were provided for the visitors of the patients.

Close to the main entrance of the clinic, a clean and elegant desk with three chairs was in plain sight. That was where Ling Yun was going to see the patient.

It was simple, neat, and clean. Ling Yun expressed his satisfaction by tickling Yao Rou’s tiny hands as a reward.

“Where is the bathroom?” Ling Yun smiled and asked.

Yao Rou blushed and pointed upwards. “The bathroom is still at its original spot.”

“Let’s go and see!”

The layout of the first floor honestly didn’t matter to Ling Yun. He only needed a few simple beds. He was more concerned about the second floor.

Ling Yun emphasized that the second floor was a place for rest and living. The decorations were made according to the requirements of a home.

That was why the renovations took so long.

There were four rooms and a living room. The living room spanned over sixty square meters, there was a master bedroom, a study room, two spare bedrooms, and a spacious public restroom.

“Where are you staying?” Ling Yun’s fingers explored Yao Rou’s tiny waist cheekily.

Yao Rou blushed a deep shade of red. Her heart raced as she pointed to the largest bedroom.

Ling Yun pushed the door open, his hand still on Yao Rou. His eyes brightened at the scene before him.

The master bedroom was huge. It was at least fifty square meters, taking up more than a quarter of the entire second floor. There was even a separate bathroom.

A large king-sized bed, a luxury genuine leather sofa, a mahogany coffee table, air conditioning, and even a television…

It was done in accordance with Ling Yun’s wishes.

The most stunning of all were two sexy nurse outfits drying near the window.

“Great, great, great, I like it!” Ling Yun sang his praises. His hands had minds of their own. They had long jumped onto Yao Rou’s huge boobs.

Yao Rou’s body shivered in ecstasy. “Not here…” Moans escaped, and her breath quickened.

Ling Yun wasn’t planning to do it here. He was just teasing Yao Rou. He released her and walked towards the window.

Ling Yun raised his hand to feel the new nurse dress. It was real silk and was so much better than the one Yao Rou wore previously.

Yao Rou noticed Ling Yun’s movements, causing her face to turn even redder. Her head bowed, which made her long black hair cascade down her face.

“When should we start operations?” Yao Rou changed the topic. She couldn’t take the atmosphere.

Ling Yun smiled and looked out to the southwest corner of the intersection. The clothing store he took over from the Xiangxi people was already in operation.

“On the twentieth or twenty-first…” Ling Yun looked at those days before, they were a Saturday and a Sunday.

Yao Rou nodded, and a beautiful smile appeared on her face. The clinic she had worked so hard to renovate was finally going to have its grand opening.

She knew that Ling Yun wasn’t short on money, so it wasn’t imperative to start operations. Ling Yun would appear more often in the clinic once it was open. She would be able to see him every day and not so sparingly.

That was the worst torment for Yao Rou.

“Hire a few nurses,” Ling Yun smiled and said to Yao Rou.

Ling Yun didn’t want Yao Rou to service patients like she used to. That didn’t mean she shouldn’t wear her nurse uniform. A Yao Rou in a nurse’s uniform was too tempting.

Yao Rou nodded again, wondering what kind of nurses would satisfy Ling Yun.

Ling Yun wouldn’t care about their professional skills if they were young and beautiful. However, that would possibly threaten her status.

The more experienced wouldn’t pose a threat to her, but she was afraid that Ling Yun would be upset.

“Rou Er, did anyone come over yesterday?”

Ling Yun was asking about Lin Menghan. He was worried that she might be bored alone, so he asked her to come over yesterday to help.

Yao Rou recalled a beautiful lady who barged in yesterday afternoon. Her heart stung, but she nodded without any change in expression.

“Yes, there was a woman. She said her name was Lin Menghan. She stayed for a few minutes before she left.”

“Didn’t she say anything?”

“She only asked for my name and my relationship with you before leaving…”

Ling Yun was very surprised. That shouldn’t be happening.

He didn’t know that Lin Menghan’s heart almost stopped when she came over to the Ordinary People’s Clinic yesterday.

That wasn’t because she was jealous. It was because she understood that this clinic wasn’t somewhere she should be with just one look at the busy Yao Rou.

Yao Rou was in charge of the clinic from the start. She had become one with it. It was her turf, and no one could enter.

That was the intuition between women. The same would happen if Ling Yun were to bring Yao Rou back to Lin Menghan’s villa to make out.

Lin Menghan exchanged some pleasantries with Yao Rou before she withdrew herself. The clinic didn’t need her help.

Ling Yun didn’t understand, but he didn’t ask any further. He got up and went downstairs after whispering sweet nothings to Yao Rou.

“I have some things to settle. We’ll open the clinic once I’m done with them!”
