--- Chapter 520 ---
"Wait... if Mu Xi is already Level 35, how high is your Soul Power, Xiao Yuan?"
Although Mu Chen was dazzled by his daughter's staggering progress, he certainly hadn't forgotten that the silver-haired boy sitting before him was far more monstrous than Mu Xi.
Han Yuan smiled faintly. "Just a bit lower than Sister Xi. Grandpa told me that building a rock-solid foundation is important for young people, and that raising my Soul Power too quickly would do more harm than good."
"So... I'm only Level 30 right now."
"Sigh..." Xing Lan covered her helpless face with her palm, groaning softly at his humble-brag. She knew well that this boy could have condensed his third spirit ring a long time ago.
"..."
Mu Chen and Yuan Bao'er stared at him in utter speechlessness.
A seven-year-old Quasi-Spirit Elder!
Such an unprecedented feat was virtually unheard of in history. Even the legendary Angel Goddess, Qian Renxue, who possessed an Innate Soul Power of Level 20, might not have matched such a terrifying pace at his age.
Mu Xi beamed with sisterly pride, neatening as if his achievements were her own. "That's right! My Xiao Yuan can even fight a thousand-year Spirit Beast and completely overpower it!"
"Not only that, he can already perform Spirit Forging, refine high-grade pills, and master every secondary profession!"
It was at this exact moment that Mu Chen and Yuan Bao'er fully grasped the sheer magnitude of Han Yuan's monster-like existence. They had vastly underestimated this silver-haired youth.
Limit Douluo? No, no, no!
His ceiling wasn't capped at the realm of mortals. In the future, he might very well step into that long-lost, legendary realm.
The Realm of Gods!
"Xiao Yuan... please take good care of Mu Xi in the future," Mu Chen said with a heavy, resigned sigh, accepting his reality. In truth, meeting such a boy was the greatest fortune his daughter could ever ask for.
"Yes, she can be a bit playful and reckless at times, but please bear with her," Yuan Bao'er added, giving the boy a deeply affectionate, motherly smile.
"Huh??" Mu Xi tilted her head, looking between her parents in complete confusion. 'Why does it feel like Mom and Dad are handing me over to Xiao Yuan on a silver platter?'
Even Han Yuan was rendered internally speechless.'What on earth are you two talking about? I'm literally only seven years old!'
He knew well that readers in his past life joked that this world was called the "Love Continent" because of how early and absurdly fast romantic pairings developed here, but this was taking it to a whole new level.
Even so... would he refuse?
Of course not!
"Mhm, I'll take good care of Sister Xi!" Han Yuan hummed in return with a polite nod, causing Mu Chen and Yuan Bao'er's smiles to broaden even further.
Lunch ended in a warm, pleasant mood.
Immediately afterward, Mu Chen offered to give Han Yuan a guided tour of the Blacksmith Association HQ. Yet, Mu Xi bristled and swiftly dragged the silver-haired youth away before her father could steal him for the afternoon.
'Go, fight your fight, girl!' Yuan Bao'er giggled in amusement, watching her daughter enthusiastically pursue her young romance.
"Well, it's nice to be young," Xing Lan shook her head helplessly, quietly following behind as the two youngsters set off to explore various scenic spots across Eastsea City.
Holding onto Han Yuan's arm, Mu Xi happily munched on a stick of grilled squid, enjoying her vacation to the absolute fullest. Han Yuan also held a skewer of his own, taking gentle bites.
Truth be told, the local cuisine was genuinely delicious.
Eventually, they strolled down to the shoreline, watching the ocean waves roll against the sandy beach as the sun began to dip toward the horizon.
"Hmm? Sister Mu Xi, what are those people doing over there?" Han Yuan spotted a cluster of locals gathered along the stone pier, holding Spirit Guidance Fishing Rods as they cast their lines into the water.
"Fishing?"
Xing Lan narrowed her eyes slightly. "Huh... that's strange. Eastsea City is a vital boundary between the Federation and the open ocean. I thought there were strict environmental regulations on hunting marine Spirit Beasts?"
Mu Xi nodded between her bites. "Well, there are, but those regulations mostly apply to commercial fishing fleets."
"Those people are just local hobbyists. Besides, there is always a risk of hooking a hundred-year or even thousand-year Spirit Beast out there, so not many people dare to go too deep."
"Though I've seen some brave fishermen swim directly into the sea to catch raw seafood."
"Is that so?" Xing Lan nodded in understanding.
Even though land Spirit Beast habitats like the Star Dou Forest had been pushed to the verge of destruction by humanity's rapid expansion, the ocean was too vast and deep, housing Spirit Beast populations that reproduced faster than humans could track.
Of course, unmonitored hunting would still inevitably drive ocean species toward extinction. Several Title Douluos had already hunted their ninth spirit rings there.
After all, raising 10,000-year-old Spirit Souls to 100,000 years old is too expensive.
Standing near the water's edge, Han Yuan felt a sense of tranquility wash over his mind. As the Primordial White Whale, he actually felt close to the ocean.
At the same time, within him pulsed life near the saltwater, a direct benefit of the Deep Ocean Demonic Whale King's bloodline fused into his body.
The water element felt like a natural extension of his limbs, harmonizing perfectly with his affinity for lightning and darkness.
'Hmm... I sense something over there.' His silver eyes flickered as he saw a deformed, black metallic rock drifting through the tide, rolling onto the damp sand just a few dozen meters away.
"Sister Xi, let's go check that out."
"Alright!" Mu Xi trotted alongside Han Yuan as he reached down to pick up the smooth, pitch-black stone.
"Oh?" Xing Lan's eyes brightened as her powerful spiritual power swept over the object. Detecting the staggering energy signature contained within, she probed deeper and gasped in genuine shock.
"Xiao Yuan... your luck is truly terrifying." She exhaled sharply. "Let's head somewhere private first... and then inspect this treasure properly."
Mu Xi grew immensely curious upon hearing her teacher's tone. Han Yuan, however, had already seen straight through the object's outer layer. His Eyes of Truth easily pierced its hidden depths.
The trio quickly rented a private oceanview bungalow nearby, placing the pitch-black stone squarely onto the wooden table. Xing Lan compressed her deep spirit energy, carefully slicing open the rock along its natural fault lines to reveal three radiant objects inside.
"As expected..." Xing Lan marvelled under her breath. "Spirit Bones!"
"Spirit Bones?!" Mu Xi gasped, staring at the glowing, crystalline bones lodged inside the fractured stone in sheer disbelief.
She whipped her head toward Han Yuan. "How did we just take a casual walk on the beach and randomly pick up Spirit Bones?!"
"Xiao Yuan... is your luck stat maxed out or something?!"
"Luck..." Han Yuan shook his head with a subtle sigh.
Rather than luck, it felt far more like a direct, deliberate gift.
Someone was bestowing these treasures upon him from the shadows, yet there were no malicious karma strings or hidden traps attached to them. It was as if they were guided straight to his feet by the currents of fate itself.
'Is it the Douluo Plane's Consciousness?' Han Yuan pondered silently. 'It must be trying to establish contact with me while taking advantage of Tang Hao's suppressed state.'
"Spirit Bones? No... these aren't ordinary Spirit Bones, Xiao Xi," Xing Lan suddenly corrected, her voice trembling slightly. "These are... 100,000-year Spirit Bones!"
"And one of them clearly originates from an extremely dominant oceanic predator, a 100,000-year Evil Spirit Orca!"
"Besides the Spirit Bones, there's even a lump of 100,000-year Whale Glue! Consuming this could temper your physical constitution to a level capable of rivaling a Spirit Saint!"
Xing Lan took a deep, steadying breath, gazing at the silver-haired youth in profound awe. "This isn't merely good fortune... this is like the heavens dropping a plush pillow right as you were growing sleepy."
"I never imagined an impromptu vacation to Eastsea City would yield such an incredible windfall."
"Xiao Yuan..."
"You truly might be the Son of Luck himself!"
