He dreamed again of a little fox who loved to drink.

It was very mischievous, hiding outside Chang’e’s palace every day, trying to wait for her to leave so it could steal the rabbits of her home.

Once, he caught it and held it captive.

The little fox was unyielding, glaring at him defiantly, looking adorably fierce.

Seeing the fox’s intelligence, he worried that when Chang’e returned she might throw it down to the mortal realm, so he adopted it and brought it home.

He thought the little fox would be grateful for being adopted, but who would have thought it turned his palace into chaos?

The little fox loved drinking, and it was very particular about its drink, refusing even a drop unless it was the finest liquor.

If it was a peerless wine, then there was no way he’d be able to have any; the fox would drink every last drop before he could.

After getting drunk, it would secretly run back to Chang’e’s palace, eyes shining at the immortal rabbits, ready to take a bite when he caught it.

The little fox, dissatisfied, started a drunken frenzy, climbed onto his back, and bit his shoulder hard.

The feeling of pain at that moment was so vivid, as if it wasn’t just a dream but a real bite.

He suddenly opened his eyes, reaching out his left hand to touch the spot on his left shoulder where the little fox bit in the dream.

There was no sense of pain from the dream, as if it really was just a dream.

He turned his head to the side; the space beside him was empty.

Sitting up from the bed, he heard the sound of running water from the bathroom.

He got up and walked to the bathroom, standing at the doorway, and saw her washing her face.

"Why not sleep a little longer?"

Tiana’s face was covered in foam, and she didn’t dare open her eyes to look at him; she just said, "Going to meet Third Brother today, I’m a bit excited, which made me wake up early."

"Mm."

After washing her face, Tiana thought of yesterday’s events, feeling refreshed as she looked into the mirror, blowing a small puff of air.

In the misty fog, her beautiful and charming face could vaguely be seen.

"Fourth Brother."

Tiana, seeing him lost in thought, didn’t suspect a thing, merely smiled: "Looks like I’m even more beautiful today; you’ve been stunned by my beauty."

With that, she walked past him and went out.

Aiden Shaw leaned against the bathroom door, watching as she reached the sofa, absorbed in applying skincare products.

Inexplicably, he recalled last night’s dream.
