Chapter 857: Chapter 851: Her Fate 4

Upon hearing this, Georgia Thorne frowned even deeper and looked at her, perplexed: "What do you mean?"

Tiana Thorne raised an eyebrow: "The literal meaning."

Georgia looked at her suspiciously, her eyes filled with a vague sense: "Do you think what I said was wrong?"

Tiana remained silent.

"If you think what I said was wrong, then it proves that in your heart, you don’t think my mother was wrong. So why do you bother coming back to the Thorne family to punish my mother? Isn’t that self-contradictory?"

Tiana crossed her legs, as if only this way could ease the slight pain in her foot.

Leaning back a little, she finally looked at her, her eyes clearly defined with a cold intent: "Because anyone can say that, except you."

Georgia was stunned, then heard her continue: "Regarding what happened with me, my sister, and dad, she indeed made a mistake, a big mistake, it’s unforgivable, so she deserves punishment, no matter how severe."

"I’m just stating a fact, is that wrong?"

Tiana didn’t even want to answer her, she continued from the last sentence, "For you, no matter what she did, you’re not the victim in this matter. You can condemn her for her mistakes, but you shouldn’t hate her."

She wasn’t pitying Whitney Lynch, just stating what she observed.

Once again, she spoke slowly and steadily: "Even if she harmed everyone in the world, she always held a wholehearted heart in front of you. From beginning to end, she held you in the palm of her hand, so the one with the right to hate is me, and you—you’re not qualified to stand in my shoes and hate your mother."

Even if there’s hatred, there should be struggle.

She had none. Now that Whitney Lynch had fallen, she calmly detached herself like an unconcerned stranger.

Georgia’s face stiffened as she finally understood the meaning behind her words, her gaze lowered.

"Do you really think she made a big mistake? No, you’re just going with the flow."

As if her innermost thoughts had been exposed, Georgia’s face turned slightly pale.

Tiana’s voice continued: "If you truly cared for this mother, now knowing she made a grave mistake, even if you don’t stop her punishment, you shouldn’t be so cold.

In a child’s eyes, parents are their life.

So, when many marriages encounter fundamental issues, like infidelity, leading to divorce,

the child, knowing infidelity is wrong, still doesn’t want to see their parents separate, using tears to express an unwillingness to be a child of a single parent.

They just hope the wrongdoing party can turn over a new leaf.

In the eyes of others, this child seems terribly annoying.

But from the child’s perspective, their parents are the closest family, who have been with them since birth. How would they want to see their once beautiful and happy family broken?

This is true humanity, with feelings and emotions.

But Georgia, throughout this whole affair, displayed a logic too rational to be considered normal, without human emotions, and overly indifferent.

Especially when she noticed a detail.

When Whitney Lynch was taken away, she showed no reluctance or pain, only looking at her biological parents with even a hint of fervor in her eyes.

That fervor, she didn’t want to interpret, but it further confirmed her previous judgment.

Georgia is not kind.

Beneath her gentle and charming appearance lies a selfish, indifferent, and cold heart.

Just then, Dr. Winslow came over with a few of his nurses.
