Chapter 849: Chapter 843: Mom and Dad Are Here 2

Whitney Lynch looked at everyone in front of her with terror.

Sean Thorne was no longer so shocked about her origins.

Only a powerful family like the Fords could uncover events from twenty-one years ago and offer justice to the victims of that incident.

He shook his head, his eyes filled with pallor: "Back then, if you had sent the child back, the Ford family would only have been grateful to you, and it wouldn’t have caused a twenty-one-year tragedy, and I, I..."

At this point, his voice choked up.

He wouldn’t have to now suddenly feel like everything had changed.

Lost his biological daughter.

Even his beloved Tiana might leave him.

In the end, it was the Thorne family that wronged her.

At this moment, he no longer had expectations, feeling desolate at life’s bleakness.

"I really know I was wrong, Sean, we’ve been married for twenty-seven or eight years, don’t treat me like this, save me, I’m begging you, I really was wrong."

Sean Thorne’s wise eyes had long seen through her filthy heart: "If you truly knew you were wrong, you should apologize to Tiana, and to the daughter you harmed, rather than ask me to help you."

After speaking, Whitney’s face grew even paler, and she shivered as she looked at Tiana Thorne.

Tiana, however, skillfully looked away.

In her eyes, Whitney didn’t deserve forgiveness because from beginning to end, she never thought she had done anything wrong.

Whitney was provoked by her cold demeanor, gripping her hands tightly, her nails digging painfully into her palms, unwilling to let go, using this to muster courage.

She fearfully crawled towards Tiana, holding her hand, looking up, her eyes full of tears: "Tiana, no matter what, I was your mother for twenty-one years, I at least worked hard for you. For the sake of raising you, forgive your mother."

Tiana laughed softly: "Mother?"

Whitney nodded again, swallowing, only feeling that now, the sharp expression in her fox-like eyes was like a stone pressing on her heart, making it hard to breathe.

"Do you deserve it?"

All of Whitney’s hopes vanished instantly.

"Raised me? Whitney, some things I don’t refute doesn’t mean I don’t know. You always say you worked hard to raise me, but in my memory, everything before I was five happened at grandma’s house."

She let out a cold laugh, looking down at her: "The phrase ’worked hard’ should be used for grandma, even though I was very young and those memories are hazy, that doesn’t mean I know nothing."

Whitney’s eyes darted around.

She thought Tiana had forgotten, but she hadn’t expected her to still remember.

"Grandma passed away, and you thought you could just steal her credit and erase her from my memory?"

Tiana’s voice was calm, but the chill in her eyes, like the eternal ice on a mountain peak, was impossible to melt.

Suddenly, she reached out, gripping Whitney’s jaw, forcing her to meet her gaze: "Besides, if it weren’t for your selfishness, would I have been separated from my family for twenty-one years? What right do you have to apologize, and what right do you have to seek forgiveness?"

Whitney only felt her inner fear grow more intense.

Tiana flung her off, straightened up, and casually dusted off her hands, speaking with deep meaning: "Whitney, I won’t forgive you, and neither will dad, so tell me, do you think my biological parents will?"
