Chapter 498: Extreme Light Bearer Training Method

[A true Light Bearer Path would have the Universal Law of Everlasting Light as the basis for the Universal Law of their Inner Light. Of course, other light-attributed Universal Laws would suffice, but the most optimal choice was the Universal Law of Everlasting Light.]

[With that in mind, as early as Spark rank, your Inner Light and the light you created must have the characteristics of Everlasting Light.]

[’A spark is fleeting, not everlasting. It’s only at the third rank, which is the Candle rank, that it focuses on making the Light Bearer sustain their light. In other words, even a firefly-like light would eventually dim and lose its light.’]

[’But for Candle rank, the Light Bearer can summon a light candle that will last for as long as their energy reserves could hold out.’]

[You knew that it was quite impractical to force the spark to be everlasting, as it contradicted what a spark was. However, ’everlasting’ could be defined in another way.]

[’As long as another group of sparks appeared after the previous group disappears, then in some ways, I can achieve an everlasting duration of light illuminated near me.’]

[’If they could replace the previous sparks just before the previous spark’s duration ended, then it can be considered as a successful alternative to an everlasting light.’]

[After all, the effect would still be that the area around you is still being illuminated by your inner light. Although the previous sparks had died down, it would be replaced by newer ones, and the cycle would continue.]

[Thinking of this, you implemented your idea.]

[After several hours had passed, you finally formulated the Extreme Light Bearer Training Method!]

[Of course, it was still incomplete. So far, it only listed the method to reach the Extreme Spark rank. Aside from the first rank, the subsequent ranks were still left for you to modify and improve upon.]

[After you finished formulating the Extreme Spark rank, you decided to embark on the Extreme Light Bearer Path with your recently created Extreme Light Bearer Training Method.]

[Closing your eyes, you visualized your light, which was something you had already completed in the Main World Terra.]

[Since it was something you already had great experience with, it merely took you a minute to create a spark on the tip of your index finger!]

[With your inner light appearing within your soul, and the spark being created on your fingertip, you’ve successfully become an Extreme Light Bearer!]

[Due to reaching the Extreme Spark rank, the spark you’ve created was not only much brighter, but its intensity was far greater than other Spark rank Light Bearers.]

[’Now that I’ve attained the Extreme Spark rank, all that’s left is to reach the absolute limit of this rank. Currently, I can only create one spark since I’ve just recently started.’]

[’Ideally, I should be able to reach a level where I can create multiple groups of sparks and ensure that before they are extinguished, a newer group of sparks would replace them.’]

[Thinking of this, you took out the radiant crystals you’ve acquired previously from your system inventory.]

[Although you have Dark Monster Flesh, using it was the most barbaric method to increase one’s inner light and Light Bearer rank. The better method was to use refined dark essence, while the best one was to just use radiant crystals.]

[Unfortunately, most Light Bearers could only use dark monster flesh. After all, it required a lot of time to refine the dark monster flesh into refined dark essence.]

[Furthermore, only powerhouses at least a major rank above the Dark Monster could purify their flesh into radiant crystals. In your case, you were able to achieve it due to being major ranks above those Dark Monsters that you’ve slain.]

[Aside from that, the Boundary of Light and Darkness allowed you to conjure a light that was only inferior to the Everlasting Light, but was still at the level of a high-grade light-attributed Universal Law.]

[In other words, most Light Bearers would have to rely on a Light Bearer stronger than them to acquire radiant crystals. It was a resource that could only be acquired by those wealthy Light Bearers or those whose family had powerful Light Bearers.]

[You might not have such a family, but you were a powerhouse who could contend with a Light Sage.]

[The radiant crystals you currently possessed were more than enough to allow you to become a Light King at most.]

[After you took out the radiant crystals, you created a spark on your fingertip and let it come into contact with the radiant crystal. This way, you absorbed the light energy within the radiant crystal and used it to empower the inner light within your soul.]

[With the assistance of Inner Light Shines Eternal (Red) and XX-rank Devouring Monster, absorbing the light energy within these radiant crystals was as easy as breathing.]

[The first batch of ninth-grade radiant crystals you took out was completely consumed. Fortunately, by the time you were done, you’d reached the limit of the Extreme Spark rank!]

[In the Light Bearer ranks, it was further divided into Initial Stage, Mid Stage, Late Stage, and Peak Stage. However, your Extreme Training Method introduced a fifth stage, which was the Limit Stage.]

[Not only was the rank upgraded to extreme, you even went as far as reaching the limit stage of that extreme rank!]

[’With my Extreme Spark Limit Stage, even those Light Bearers at Candle rank or even Lantern rank won’t be able to defeat me!’]

[’Unlike them, my Extreme Spark can cause damage not just to Dark Monsters but also to physical entities. The problem of Light Bearers at lower ranks was their inability to cause destruction on the world around them and harm physical entities.’]

[’But since I’ve already modified the mainstream training method into my own extreme version, I’ve ensured to patch up that weakness!’]

[Thinking of this, you snapped both of your fingers.]

[In an instant, countless sparks of light appeared around you, like fireworks blooming!]
