Doomsday Life Simulator System In A Zombie Apocalypse World Update Era

Chapter 417: Completing A Hard-Level Difficulty Doomsday Scenario

  • Next Chapter

While Zayne was thinking about the simulation feature upgrades, he soon heard a notification sound in his mind.

-Ding!

[It has been detected that the host has completed the Hard-Level Eternal Winter doomsday scenario.]

[Due to completing a Hard-Level Difficulty Doomsday Scenario, the host has been rewarded with a 0.02% Multiversal Law of Apocalypse law fragment ownership.]

[This 0.02% law fragment ownership will be inherited into future simulations like a simulation talent. In other words, the host will start with his base human body + this law fragment, no longer being powerless at the start.]

After those system screens appeared, Zayne felt his 30% Apocalypse Authority sublimate to 30.02% Apocalypse Principle!

Feeling the changes in his power and the newly improved Apocalypse Principle, Zayne contemplated, ’The feeling is much different than when I’ve sublimated an Authority into a Principle on my own.’

’This situation feels more like 30% Authority + 0.02% Principle, with the 0.02% law fragment acting as an additive and not completely merging within the Universal Law of Apocalypse fragment.’

’In other words, I can still sublimate the Apocalypse Authority and let it progress to 100% eventually. The added Multiversal Law fragment wouldn’t take up the 100% Universal Law ownership but is laid on top of it.’

’Eventually, if I accumulate enough Multiversal Law fragments, I’d be able to achieve a case where I’d be stuck at 90% Apocalypse Sovereignty, but with a 3% Multiversal Law of Apocalypse fragment, I’d be able to exert the power of a 93% Apocalypse Supremacy.’

’In fact, the power of that 93% Apocalypse Supremacy would be stronger than a typical 93% Supremacy.’

Zayne had confirmed that based on his Apocalypse Principle.

His 30.02% Apocalypse Principle, if it ever encountered another powerhouse with a 30.02% Apocalypse Principle, would still be superior to that powerhouse’s Apocalypse Principle despite having the same quantity of law fragment ownership.

After all, the quality of his added Multiversal Law fragment was way superior to a Universal Law, allowing Zayne to gain such an advantage. This alone made him even more motivated to specialize in the Universal Law of Apocalypse.

Discovering the newfound power granted by this multiversal law fragment, Zayne decisively decided, ’No matter what, comprehending the Universal Law of Apocalypse wouldn’t be a dead end!’

’Moreover, after I confirm what happens after a Monthly Apocalypse World Update ends, I’ll resume increasing my power rank while completing those more difficult doomsday scenarios after the Second Monthly Apocalypse World Update starts.’

’For now, I can aim to complete those much weaker doomsday scenarios. After all, they won’t take as much time and mental effort compared to Nightmare-level doomsday scenarios like the Two-Person Extreme Train Survival.’

’It’s always better to deal with doomsday scenarios that can easily be completed through sheer brute force since I can achieve that with Celestial rank combat power.’

Although Zayne knew that the Eternal Winter apocalypse could have been completed without killing the Spirit of Winter, the method of doing so would be far more complicated than outright killing her.

Anyway, since he had the power to do so, he would definitely use brute force unless he had no choice but to use his brain and formulate a plan. After all, it was mostly those who were weak and lacked power who’d reason out with words, precisely due to lacking power.

Otherwise, those who were powerful like him would reason with power. If a problem couldn’t be solved with power, then those who used it merely lacked power, and they didn’t use enough of it.

Of course, Zayne wasn’t truly a brute. After all, if he was one, he wouldn’t have survived that long in the Second Doomsday Life Simulation.

But in the end, the reason he had to scheme against those Wild Gods was due to being weaker than them. If he was stronger than them, he could just wipe them out.

’Sure enough, power is the absolute truth. No matter what, if I want myself and my lovers to be safe, as well as my future children, I have to become the strongest.’

’Only by being tall enough to support the sky would I be able to become the most reliable shade for my family.’

Recalling a certain time in the train survival universe and even in the Eternal Winter apocalypse, Jade had wanted to have his children.

After all, she had already decided to be with him for all eternity. However, Zayne had refused, stating that he wasn’t powerful enough yet.

As someone who was extremely cautious, he didn’t want to be powerless enough to encounter things that were beyond his control.

’If I’m not mistaken, there should be some great turmoil happening within these infinite realities. After all, those Wild Gods seemed to have some similarities, albeit weaker, than the eldritch gods I’ve known in my past life.’

’Seeing as how the impossible had already become possible since I’ve lived out in this second life of mine, it’s not far-fetched to say that if those eldritch gods, especially the Outer Gods, had existed, then I have to become at least strong enough to flee from them.’

’Even if they didn’t exist, there ought to be something that would cause The One to initiate these Monthly Apocalypse World Updates. Just that possibility alone meant that I can’t remain complacent and must be powerful enough to deal with such threats.’

’Fortunately, Jade wasn’t blinded by love and also realized that after I pointed it out, causing her to agree to wait until the two of us became powerful enough to protect our future family.’

Thinking of this, Zayne wasn’t that against starting a family. After all, he had already experienced more than a thousand years if the time dilation in the Zenith Train was included.

Although it didn’t affect his youthful mindset, the vast experience had indeed caused him to be more mature and stable. But it was due to this reason that he didn’t want to start a family now.

It was similar to how it’s not advisable to start a family without a stable income.

In this case, Zayne wouldn’t do it unless he was powerful enough and could guarantee that his lovers and future children would be safe under his protection!
