Doomsday Life Simulator System In A Zombie Apocalypse World Update Era
Chapter 387: The Zombie Apocalypse’s Power System
Seeing the zombie virus cure that Zayne had taken out, Henry nodded in agreement, "Yes, that’s the one we’re looking for! We’ve opened many wooden chests, and we’ve only acquired one in total, and that one was used to cure Jacob’s zombie bite."
After taking out the zombie virus cure, Zayne tossed it to Alan, which prompted Alan to catch it carefully due to fear of it falling on the ground.
After all, the zombie virus cure was stored inside a glass vial, so it was quite fragile. Although Alan was worrying for nothing, since Zayne used his invisible force to keep it afloat and ensure that it landed on Alan’s hand.
With Alan receiving the zombie virus cure, Zayne asked, "Do you plan to cure the zombie virus with that? As I’ve mentioned earlier, I have plenty of ways to deal with the zombie virus."
"It involves the power system of this world, which I’ve already deduced and figured out."
Having taken countless world globes and visited countless station worlds, Zayne was no longer as ignorant as he was before.
Among those countless worlds he had visited and even taken, some of them were zombie apocalypse worlds. A significant portion of them had used the zombie virus as the main core for establishing a power system.
Before, when he only completed the First Doomsday Life Simulation, Zayne wasn’t certain what the white crystals inside the zombies’ heads were used for. Although he could guess from the novels he had read, it wasn’t as reliable as encountering them in the real world.
It was only after completing the Second Doomsday Life Simulation that Zayne had gained enough experience due to traveling to countless worlds.
With his experience combined with his intelligence as a Human Progenitor, even if this Zombie Apocalypse World didn’t have any power systems and only the zombies had it, Zayne could easily tailor one for the human race.
However, he didn’t have to. From what he had known via Hint Prompt, a virus evolution manual would be acquired from a wooden chest at an extremely low probability.
Although he didn’t have the virus evolution manual, Zayne could easily create it with his Creation Sovereignty. After all, let alone things that existed, Zayne could even create things that wouldn’t logically exist in the real world.
There was a reason why even the first-generation Human Progenitor couldn’t sublimate his 60% Creation Principle into a 60.001% Creation Sovereignty. Aside from insufficient aptitude in the Universal Law of Creation, the Universal Law of Creation was just inherently difficult to comprehend due to how powerful it was.
The only reason why Zayne hadn’t used it much was due to its law fragment ownership being behind his main Sovereignties. Moreover, he had already established a combat system based on his Order Sovereignty and Boundary Sovereignty, which served as his two main Sovereignties.
At most, other Sovereignties would only be used to patch up his weaknesses and shortcomings.
Even so, the lack of usage of the Creation Sovereignty didn’t mean it was weak. At least, Zayne had more use of it in the real world than in the simulation since the resources in the real world were finite, unlike in the doomsday life simulation.
When they heard Zayne’s question, Henry and the others paid attention to it, especially Alan, who wasn’t in a hurry to drink the zombie virus cure.
Anyway, the zombie virus cure was already at hand, so Alan was no longer worried about racing against time just to prevent himself from turning into a zombie.
Before Alan could ask Zayne about it, Jackie interjected, "As much as I want to hear everyone continue the conversation, we shouldn’t forget that we’re still in the middle of the street."
"My radar had already detected the presence of survivors within nearby residences, so I wouldn’t cross out the possibility of them eavesdropping on us."
Hearing Jackie’s words, Zayne assured them, "As soon as I arrived here, I had already used my power to conceal everyone’s presence and prevented anyone from eavesdropping on us."
"From their perspective, it’s not that we disappeared, but they’ve forgotten we’ve existed here in the first place."
He had used his Bloodline Magic: Absolute Boundary, specifically the Boundary of Presence, to deal with such a problem.
After all, he didn’t want any of these mortals to interrupt his conversation with his friends.
Henry nodded, "I see. Bro is as thoughtful as ever. You’ve already got it covered even when we haven’t thought of it yet."
Alan asked, "If that’s the case, can I ask you, bro Zayne? Is there any difference between me using the zombie virus cure and using the methods you have to deal with the zombie virus?"
Facing Alan’s question, Zayne answered, "It’s due to the power system of this world. Although I haven’t acquired it yet, there’s an extremely low probability of acquiring the Virus Evolution Manual from the wooden chest."
"Above the wooden chest is the bronze chest, which can be dropped by Elite Zombies. It’s only the first day of the zombie apocalypse, so there are no Elite Zombies yet. However, there is like a handful of bronze chests hidden in this world which were generated randomly in hidden or dangerous locations by the World Will."
"A bronze chest has better odds of dropping a Virus Evolution Manual. If a survivor can acquire the Virus Evolution Manual, they’ll be able to use the zombie crystals to absorb the neutral zombie virus within it and let it become the catalyst for their evolution."
Zayne added, "As for why I asked, it’s due to the zombie virus cure improving a survivor’s adaptability to the zombie virus. Even with the Virus Evolution Manual, there’s still a chance that the survivor wouldn’t have a strong will or viral resistance, causing them to devolve into a zombie instead."
"So if a survivor has great resources, a crude way to increase viral resistance is to be bitten by a zombie multiple times, then use the zombie virus cure to recover from that, thereby increasing viral resistance."
"Afterwards, you can keep repeating it until you’ve reached an ideal viral resistance to attempt viral evolution."
