Chapter 2155: Chapter 716: I Want the Land to Be Filled with Ruins (Part 3)
Ripples stirred faintly in Jidu’s eyes. "So, you’re saying the plagues and poisons you descended upon the Divine Continent... can no longer spread?"
"Your Majesty!" The Lord of Ten Thousand Plagues, God Bing Liang, wore a thoroughly helpless look. "They have used the Two Books of Precepts, setting a Decree that within a radius of a million li around Wang’an City, all spread of any plague or poison is forbidden. ℯ
Once my Plague in the Divine Continent shows the slightest sign of transmission, it will be frozen to death by Hai Water Divine Thunder. Of the plagues I currently command, not a single one can withstand the Extreme Cold Power of Ween Suyi’s Hai Water Ice Thunder."
The Lord of Ten Thousand Poisons, Shen Ruowang, went even paler as he stretched out his hand. "Your Majesty, I too can no longer cast poisons. The power of the Two Books of Precepts is no small matter."
Both his hands had quite clearly only just undergone regeneration, and were still in a rather fragile status.
Not long ago, Shen Ruowang had been forced to sever his own hands, lest that ultimate Cold Power freeze his Divine Body solid.
That fellow, the Lord of Ten Thousand Plagues, God Bing Liang, is still somewhat better off: the plagues he commands can spread and infect of themselves, and can be controlled at great distance.
For Shen Ruowang to raise a poison?calamity, he can only personally, with his own hands, cast poison into those rivers, wells, and so forth. Thus he was struck head?on by the power of the Two Books of Precepts.
He had previously possessed a Divine Artifact Host, destroyed by Ween Suyi’s hand, and his Primordial Qi has yet to recover.
The present situation is even more dire.
The Curse Demon Lord, Shen Yuanzhu, only frowned, his eyes holding a measure of concern. ℴ𝗆
Ween Suyi and Chu Yunyun, those two women, have not established any Decree specifically targeting spell.
Yet the power of spell is destined never to be deployed on a grand scale.
For the Human Clan, with its population of eighty billion, his curse power, though mysterious and perilous, is far too feeble.
What weighs on Shen Yuanzhu’s heart are Chu Yunyun, and that Fourth Generation Saint Emperor.
In former days, when he struck at Qin Muge and laid a Divine Curse upon her, it was at Shen Bore’s entreaty—a transaction struck between Shen Bore and Jidu.
Yet that deal, which had seemed a sure profit with no risk, has now placed him in an extremely perilous position.
Thinking that these two have already attained Emperor Level strength, Shen Yuanzhu could almost weep without tears; his regret is boundless.
"The Two Books of Precepts!"
The Lord of Ten Thousand Disasters, Jidu, descended from the steps, walking all the way beyond the hall’s doors to behold the calamities presently unfolding in the Mortal World.
Every disaster beneath Heaven and Earth can augment his power.
Yet that Ice Disaster now ravaging Central Earth lies beyond his grasp; it was not set in motion by him.
Jidu’s gaze was icy?cold. "In former days, when I crossed hands with Shen Hao, I tasted the power of the Two Books of Precepts. Those Pangu Divine Race are truly incompetent to the extreme. At times I simply cannot fathom what goes on in their heads.
They have actually allowed the Two Books of Precepts to recover to such a degree. Do they not understand that the stronger the world’s power of Law, the easier it becomes for Shen Hao and the True Spirit of the Initial Charter to return?"
The Fifth Generation Heavenly Emperor, Shen Hao, is the only Human Clan’s Emperor never to have been sealed, his True Spirit scattered throughout Heaven and Earth.
The Charter is also named Bi’an, seventh of the Nine Dragon Sons, and was, seventeen million years ago, the Great Justice of the Heavenly Court succeeding Shen Hao.
The White Tiger Supervision holds the military law; while the Initial Charter holds the most core portion of Heaven’s Law.
In these thirteen million years, the Four Great Divine Mountains of Central Earth have remained under a system of tribal co?rule: on the one hand to facilitate the rule of the Star Sky Gods; on the other, because the bloodline of All Gods have ceaselessly struggled and slaughtered one another.
On yet another hand, it is to prevent the Two Laws of Precepts in Heaven and Earth from growing too strong.
"In truth, I had no intention of becoming an enemy of the Human Clan."
Jidu’s voice was cold and astringent. "So long as they bowed their heads to me, were willing to grant us an Eternal Immortal pledge, were willing to offer us worship and sacrifice—then I, Jidu, could cooperate with the Pangu Gods, and just as well join hands with them. However—"
Here, he suddenly clenched both hands within his sleeves. "Of all things they should not have done, they should never have provoked my wrath."
At that moment, a mass of black flame ignited over his entire body.
Though his power of Ten Thousand Disasters has been borrowed away, he still commands the Law of Entropy Sky, and is a Saint of Entropy Sky. Through entropy increase and entropy reduction, he can manipulate the disaster?frequency of Heaven and Earth.
Jidu turned his head to gaze upon his subordinates, and pronounced, word by word: "Within the span of a single day, I want the Divine Continent Realm to see Heaven collapse and Earth crack, white bones exposed across the wilds, walls broken and eaves shattered, a vista of wounds and ruin as far as the eye can see!"
