Chapter 555: Chapter 554: Hand Over Ling Fei

"What terrifying Power! This is the Holy Stone of the Stone Race!" Kunlong’s face was filled with terror.

This Power had clearly surpassed that of an ordinary Heaven-Reaching Realm expert.

One must remember that he himself possessed combat strength comparable to a Heaven-Reaching Realm expert.

Yet now, he couldn’t even move. ’Just how powerful is my opponent?’

As terror washed over him, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of despair.

"No! I am an Elder of the Kunpeng Race!" Kunlong yelled.

"Clan Leader, save me!" he screamed, trying to call for help, but he found that his voice was completely suppressed by the Gravity Domain Field.

"Third Elder!" As the Stone Patterns bloomed in the Void and formed a Domain Field that trapped the Third Elder, the experts of the Kunpeng Race cried out, their faces taut with anxiety.

He was one of the clan’s top experts. If he were killed, the Kunpeng Race would lose a pillar of its strength!

"The great Holy Stone Spirit, an existence of nearly one hundred thousand years, dares to bully a junior of my Kunpeng Race? Are you suggesting my clan has no one who can stand up to you?"

Just then, a cold and deep voice echoed through the air.

From deep within the Kunpeng Race’s territory, a dark light flickered. A pair of Peng Wings tore through space, slashing horizontally toward this section of the Void.

One Peng Wing sliced toward the giant stone Domain Field, intent on rescuing Kunlong.

The other, however, slashed toward the area of the Void where Little Shi Tou and Ling Fei stood.

Clearly, this person was employing a diversionary tactic, attacking the source of the threat to resolve Kunlong’s crisis.

As the wings slashed toward them, both Ling Fei and Little Shi Tou frowned. Yiyi’s fur stood straight on end.

The aura emanating from the wings was simply terrifying.

When it first appeared, it seemed to be thousands of miles away, but in a mere instant, it was already within a hundred miles of Ling Fei. The dark light bloomed, carrying with it a heart-stopping aura. The terrifying Nether Qi made one feel as if they had been plunged into a Cold Cave, causing even their Divine Soul to tremble uncontrollably.

’What a terrifying strike. Is this person a Heaven-Reaching Realm expert?’ Ling Fei thought as he looked up, his eyes locked on the wing slashing down through the air.

The wing was so powerful that it tore through the Gravity Domain Field the Holy Stone had pressed down on Kunlong.

"Kun Wuji, if you dare harm my grandson, this old man will see that your Kunpeng Race flows with rivers of blood!" Just as the wing was about to strike, a furious roar resounded. The Array Light Curtain enveloping the Void was ripped apart, and a Stone Disc shot through the tear, smashing into the gloomy wing.

BANG!

A heaven-shaking bang erupted. The wing was knocked away, failing in its attempt to kill Little Shi Tou.

Meanwhile, the giant stone slammed viciously into the other wing, which shattered and exploded with terrifying Power.

The giant stone trembled and dissolved into Light Patterns. Its peerless strike had been blocked by the wing.

However, the terrifying shockwave that erupted from the impact still engulfed Kunlong.

Kunlong was sent flying, the Treasure Armor on his body shattering as his bones broke. He spat out mouthful after mouthful of blood.

It was a truly peerless strike; the aftershock alone was enough to annihilate numerous Returning Ruins Realm experts.

As Kunlong was sent flying, his aura grew faint. He was on the verge of death.

As Kunlong flew backward, a flash of light appeared behind him and pulled him out of harm’s way.

A tall man wearing a Ghost Robe appeared out of thin air.

This man was none other than the current Clan Leader of the Kunpeng Race, Kun Wuji.

Kun Wuji looked quite young, perhaps only forty or fifty, and was in the prime of his life.

In reality, he was over four hundred years old, but for an expert of his caliber, that was still considered the prime of life. His Blood Qi was at its peak.

When Kun Wuji appeared, the Kunpeng Race Elders flew over and immediately gave Kunlong Elixirs to help him recover his Blood Qi.

Kun Wuji glanced at the Third Elder being supported by the others, his gaze turning icy. ’To strike so viciously!’

The Third Elder’s breathing was now as faint as a thread. His bones were shattered, and invasive Stone Patterns coursed through his body. He was severely injured.

He had come dangerously close to death!

Seeing this, Kun Wuji’s gaze grew impossibly cold. He turned and locked his eyes on the scene ahead.

There, a giant stone stood tall. Hazy Dao Patterns bloomed from it, seeming to form a world of their own as they shielded Little Shi Tou, Ling Fei, and Yiyi.

"Hee hee, Grandpa Holy Stone, you’re here!" Little Shi Tou giggled, looking up at the Holy Stone floating before him.

It was Little Shi Tou who had just used the Holy Stele to communicate with the Holy Stone, enabling the Holy Stone Spirit to intervene in the nick of time.

Of course, the Holy Stone Spirit had not descended in its true form; what appeared was merely a Spirit Body.

Seeing Little Shi Tou’s sly expression, Ling Fei smiled. He realized the little guy must have known all along that he could communicate with the Holy Stone, which explained his composure in the face of danger.

"You little rascal, running all the way out here to cause trouble. This is quite a mess you’ve made!" The Light Patterns on the Holy Stone shifted, and a figure condensed from them, revealing a man in a white robe wreathed in hazy Dao Patterns. The man shook his head with a smile, then reached out to gently pat Little Shi Tou’s head as he lovingly chided him.

Despite his words, his tone was clearly filled with doting affection.

He had lived for eons, but this was the first time he had ever encountered a peerless prodigy like Little Shi Tou, who was born with an almost perfect inheritance of Innate Stone Patterns.

If this junior were to reach his full potential, he might even be able to rival the first-generation Stone Man.

That was why the Holy Stone Spirit was so fond of Little Shi Tou and had even promised to always have his back.

But he never imagined that after such a short time, the boy would land him in such a huge mess.

Even the Holy Stone Spirit, an ancient being of nearly one hundred thousand years, was left speechless. He wanted to give the boy a piece of his mind, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

He was simply too fond of this junior.

"Hmph. Grandpa Holy Stone, you’re the one who said that as long as you were around, no one could bully Little Stone," Little Shi Tou said with a pout.

From the look on his face, you’d think he was the one who was angry!

"Haha, yes, yes, I did indeed say that." The Holy Stone Spirit laughed, not the least bit angry.

"Besides, I didn’t start it, they did!" Little Shi Tou said, his face a mask of indignation.

"I told them over and over not to mess with me," he muttered, glancing at the Kunpeng members in the Void.

At his words, the nearby Kunpeng Clan Members almost coughed up blood in sheer exasperation.

’What the hell? This damn kid killed two of our experts and now claims *we* started it?’ The Kunpeng Clan Members were beyond frustrated.

Kun Wuji’s expression was grim.

Beside him, a few Elders recounted the day’s events in detail.

After learning the whole story from beginning to end, he nodded slightly, his disdainful gaze locking onto Ling Fei and Little Shi Tou.

"Elder Holy Stone, I respect you as my senior, but for your Stone Race to openly invade my Kunpeng Race’s territory and kill several of our experts is simply going too far. Today, if your esteemed clan does not provide an explanation, I am afraid I will have a difficult time answering to the tens of thousands of Kunpeng Clan Members!" Kun Wuji’s gaze was icy as he stared at the human form of the Holy Stone Spirit, his every word dripping with chilling killing intent.

What happened today was an utter disgrace to the Kunpeng Race.

He wished he could strike down Ling Fei and Little Shi Tou where they stood.

But he also knew that killing Little Shi Tou and Ling Fei would be no easy task with the Holy Stone Spirit present.

"An explanation? What kind of explanation do you want?" The Holy Stone Spirit’s gaze shifted to Kun Wuji. His eyes swirled with hazy, indecipherable Stone Patterns, betraying no emotion. Yet the light glittering within them was as sharp as a blade, striking fear into the hearts of the Kunpeng Clan Members.

"Hand over Ling Fei and Little Shi Tou," Kun Wuji said, his gaze icy as he spoke each word with chilling deliberation. "Furthermore, your esteemed clan must compensate my race with a drop of Holy Stone Milk!"

A vast and mighty power began to emanate from him.

That Power permeated the surrounding thousands of miles, making the very Void seem as if it might shatter at any moment.
