Divine Wilderness Dragon Emperor
Chapter 512: Tragic Heroism
Chapter 512 -511: Tragic Heroism
“Draw upon my True Dragon Blood!” Ling Fei uttered in a low voice.
WHOOSH!
The moment the True Dragon Blood was drawn out, it erupted with terrifying Power, accompanied by a resounding dragon’s roar. It was as if a True Dragon was being born.
Instantly, the Blood Qi within Ling Fei’s body surged to the heavens, its light illuminating everything in all directions!
A vast Dragon’s Might radiated from his body, making every Heart Spirit tremble.
‘Pure True Dragon Blood… What a pity. The Dragon Blood within my own body is so thin.’ As the True Dragon Blood was drawn from Ling Fei’s body, Emperor Tang sighed. If he possessed True Dragon Blood as rich as Ling Fei’s, he could have activated the True Dragon Seal with his level of Cultivation and with far greater ease.
After sighing, he guided the Dragon Blood into the True Dragon Seal.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
A massive amount of True Dragon Blood Qi was unleashed from the Dragon Bone in Ling Fei’s back.
This was true Dragon Blood Power—Ancestor Dragon Blood Qi, no less. Even a single trace of it was astonishingly potent, far stronger than Emperor Tang’s.
Furthermore, within Ling Fei’s Sea of Consciousness, the Blood Qi from the drop of Ao Qian Dragon King’s Essence Blood also surged out frantically and poured into the True Dragon Seal.
The True Dragon Seal seemed starved, frantically absorbing the Blood Qi Ling Fei drew out. The frenzied pace was so intense that even Ling Fei felt a wave of fatigue, as drawing out the True Dragon Blood Qi required an immense amount of his Heart Spirit.
Guiding the Blood Qi out of the Dragon Bone was especially draining on his Heart Spirit.
But to unleash the Power within the True Dragon Seal, Ling Fei didn’t hesitate for a moment. He pushed himself to the limit, continuously drawing out his Blood Qi.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
As a massive amount of Blood Qi poured into the True Dragon Seal, the Dragon Seal’s previously dim aura began to once again emanate a vast Dragon’s Might.
But this was still far from enough.
Ling Fei’s Blood Qi continuously surged forth, pouring into the True Dragon Seal.
The Blood Qi soaring from his body resembled a burning flame—a magnificent sight. Yet, the light in Ling Fei’s eyes grew increasingly dim.
Witnessing this scene, the onlookers drew in a sharp breath.
Just like Emperor Tang, Ling Fei was sacrificing his very foundation in an all-out effort to eradicate these fiends!
“Burn my Divine Soul Power!” Emperor Tang whispered. As he spoke, Divine Soul Power flowed from between his eyebrows and into the True Dragon Seal.
“All Living Beings, aid me!” At the same time, Emperor Tang spoke again. His voice emanated from the Holy Decree, spreading in all directions.
However, his Dharma Body was no longer manifest, and his voice lacked its previous power.
He had become far too weak.
“We stand with Your Majesty!” As the voices of the people rose in response, they were choked with sobs.
One by one, the people focused their minds, meditating upon Emperor Tang. Their Telekinesis began to gather in the air.
Many even fell to their knees, prostrating themselves on the ground, truly seeing Emperor Tang as their one true Emperor.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
The vast Power of All Living Beings was drawn forth.
Emperor Tang guided it with both hands. A vast Power of All Living Beings condensed on the Emperor’s Dragon Platform before being channeled entirely into the True Dragon Seal.
A portion of it also flowed into Emperor Tang’s body, causing his aura to strengthen slightly.
‘Body, merge with heaven and earth!’ With a thought, Emperor Tang used the True Dragon Seal to merge his Heart Spirit with the world, and he began to sense everything in all directions.
He was searching for the whereabouts of Beiming Huahai and the others.
At that moment, Beiming Huahai and the four powerhouses from the Corpse Spirit Hall were fleeing in five separate directions.
BUZZ!
Suddenly, the Void trembled. Beiming Huahai felt something lock onto him.
“Beiming Huahai!” A deep voice suddenly thundered from the heavens above.
Then, ripples spread through that patch of the Void. A Dragon Claw materialized out of thin air, reaching for Beiming Huahai as he fled into the distance.
Although Beiming Huahai had been fleeing for some time, he was only a Divine Mansion Realm Cultivator. His flight speed was far slower than Kun Hai’s.
As a result, he hadn’t managed to get very far.
“Emperor Tang!” When the deep voice rang out, Beiming Huahai’s face filled with terror. In his panic, he immediately summoned a Sword Shield and slashed it toward the sky.
This Sword Shield was a Supreme Treasure, and a Forbidden Artifact as well.
WHOOSH!
It expanded to a thousand zhang in length and slashed toward the Dragon Claw, erupting with a shocking aura. The power it displayed was already approaching that of a Daoist Palace Realm expert.
But the Dragon Claw flared with brilliant light. The five words, “Serving Heaven and Accepting Destiny,” blazed forth and bore down, knocking the Sword Shield away.
Then, the massive claw descended, instantly shattering Beiming Huahai.
A Divine Mansion Realm powerhouse had fallen.
Afterward, the Dragon Claw retracted.
In the heavens above, Emperor Tang’s aura weakened further.
Even Ling Fei’s face had grown pale, and his brows were furrowed tightly.
That last strike had depleted too much of his Heart Spirit and Blood Qi.
“Can you still hold on?” Emperor Tang asked, taking a deep breath as he glanced at Ling Fei.
“Don’t worry, Your Majesty. I can still fight!” A glint flashed in Ling Fei’s eyes as he pushed himself to his limits, even going so far as to burn his Divine Soul Power to draw out the Dragon Blood.
“Good!” Emperor Tang nodded. He then continued to draw upon the Power of All Living Beings and burn his own Divine Soul Power to unleash the Power of the True Dragon Seal.
And so, high in the sky, the faces of both Emperor Tang and Ling Fei grew increasingly pale.
Yet the True Dragon Seal’s aura was recovering once more.
At this moment, the people of the Southern Wilderness could only watch in silence.
Yuan Huaitian and the others felt a bitter pang in their hearts.
There were eight hundred thousand Cultivators present, yet not a single one of them could help.
Only Ling Fei, with his True Dragon Bloodline, could join forces with Emperor Tang and fight at his side.
They could only watch helplessly.
As they watched the auras of the two men weaken, the hearts of the people ached in sorrow.
But Emperor Tang and Ling Fei remained fearless, gritting their teeth and pressing on.
Even though their faces were as pale as paper, they continued on.
WHOOSH!
Finally, the True Dragon Seal had absorbed enough True Dragon Blood Qi.
Emperor Tang’s Heart Spirit locked onto a Celestial Corpse.
It was an Ancient Coffin, flying towards the north.
“Kill!” A glint flashed in Emperor Tang’s eyes as his Divine Soul controlled the True Dragon Seal. Light Patterns flashed on the seal, manifesting a Dragon Claw that pierced through the Void.
The Dragon Claw pierced the Void, blotting out the sun as it enveloped the Ancient Coffin. A vast Dragon’s Might crashed down.
‘This is bad! Emperor Tang is here!’ As the Dragon’s Might descended, the Celestial Corpse within the Ancient Coffin was struck with terror.
But as the Dragon Claw struck, the Ancient Coffin disintegrated, and the Celestial Corpse within was instantly crushed to pieces.
And so, another Celestial Corpse was killed.
The Dragon Claw retracted and dissipated, leaving only the Dragon Seal floating in the Void.
Manifesting the Dragon Claw consumed too much Blood Qi and Divine Soul Power, so Emperor Tang dared not waste a single shred of it.
This time, Emperor Tang rested for a full quarter of an hour. Then he raised his head, looked toward Ling Fei, and asked, “How are you?”
“I can still fight!” Ling Fei said.
“Good!” Emperor Tang declared, and the two of them struck once more.
The auras of the two grew weaker and weaker, their faces paler and paler.
“Your Majesty, you can’t go on like this!” the Empress cried from the side. Emperor Tang’s Divine Soul aura was so weak it showed signs of fading away completely at any moment.
“If I don’t kill one more Celestial Corpse, I won’t be able to rest, even in death.” Emperor Tang gritted his teeth, insisting on striking again.
Because there were still three Celestial Corpses at large.
And those were just the ones they knew about. Who knew if the Corpse Spirit Hall had any more Celestial Corpses?
