Divine Level Witch Doctor
Chapter 543 - 543: The UC Shock Department
Internet cafes were easy enough to find. There were several right outside the villa district, all open 24/7.
Zhao Yuan didn't rush over. Instead, he scanned his surroundings and found a secluded alley with no one around and, more importantly, no surveillance cameras.
He had the Bone Woman stand guard at the entrance while he walked deeper into the alley alone. Opening his Storage Ring Space, he took out a brush, ink, and paper. He spread the paper directly on the ground, cast the Skin Painting Technique, and began to paint, creating a human skin for himself.
This Magic, which he had learned from the Witch and Priest School, could not only grant skeletons and Demon Ghosts a Human Skin Cloak but could also be worn by a person to change their appearance.
Of course, the Skin Painting Technique was ultimately just a minor trick. A truly powerful Cultivator could see through the fake shell with a single glance. This time, however, Zhao Yuan wouldn't be facing any experts directly. At most, his opponent would only see him on a surveillance camera. Even if they could tell he was disguised, they wouldn't be able to see his true face.
After painting for over an hour and failing three times, Zhao Yuan finally succeeded in creating a human skin.
After packing away the brush and ink, Zhao Yuan looked at the human skin on the ground and recited a Spell.
The human skin lifted into the air as if of its own accord, instantly wrapping around Zhao Yuan, covering him from head to toe and rapidly adjusting itself.
A peculiar, warm sensation washed over him, making Zhao Yuan feel incredibly comfortable, like soaking in a bathtub with the water at the perfect temperature.
A few seconds later, the skin stopped adjusting. Zhao Yuan's appearance had undergone a dramatic transformation. He now looked like a middle-aged man with a weathered face, someone worn down by the daily grind, with absolutely no trace of his original features.
"Not bad. The details are perfect." Zhao Yuan nodded in satisfaction as he carefully examined his new appearance. He then took a set of clothes out of his Storage Ring Space and put them on.
It couldn't be helped. The Skin Painting Technique only created skin, not clothes. After putting the skin on, he was left stark naked. If he walked out like this, he'd surely be "invited for a cup of tea" by the police.
Once dressed, Zhao Yuan immediately felt stuffy and hot. He had already been wearing one set of clothes, and now he had a layer of human skin and another set on top of that. 'It'd be a miracle if I wasn't hot!'
"Looks like I should take my clothes off first next time I change skins," Zhao Yuan lamented. He then walked to the alley's entrance and called out to the Bone Woman, "Send me the hotel address, then take the White Cat and Dang Kang and go on ahead. After I finish up at the internet cafe, I'll meet you there!"
Although Zhao Yuan looked completely different, the Bone Woman was able to recognize his aura; moreover, the White Cat and Dang Kang were with him.
She was a little surprised. "Master, are you using the Skin Painting Technique as a disguise?"
Zhao Yuan nodded. "That's right. I initially planned to destroy the surveillance equipment, but then I realized that even if I took out the cameras in the internet cafe, there are countless more on the streets outside. It would be very difficult to avoid being seen, so I simply made this Human Skin Cloak instead."
The Bone Woman had a flash of insight. She understood that if she, the White Cat, and Dang Kang were to accompany Zhao Yuan, the Ant Thieves could use them as a clue to track him down. His disguise would be for nothing. So, she immediately picked up the White Cat and Dang Kang. "Master, we'll head back to the hotel now. We wish you a successful mission."
Only after the Bone Woman and the others were a good distance away did Zhao Yuan emerge from the alley. He swaggered into an internet cafe and said to the attendant, "I need a computer."
Without looking up, the attendant said, "ID, please. Thanks."
This face Zhao Yuan was wearing had been created just moments ago. 'Where would I get an ID for it?' he thought. But he had ways of dealing with this sort of thing.
Secretly activating an Enchanting Talisman, Zhao Yuan said, "Get me a computer. I need a private room."
The attendant was an ordinary person; how could he possibly resist an Enchanting Talisman? He immediately complied. "Yes, sir. I'll get that for you right away. Private Room A6."
"Thanks." Zhao Yuan paid and walked toward Private Room A6. On the way, he spotted several surveillance cameras. Far from avoiding them, he actually smiled right at them.
As Zhao Yuan entered the private room, the attendant awoke from his hypnotic state. He clearly couldn't remember what had just happened, and without trying to recall, he simply went back to his work.
Inside the private room, Zhao Yuan closed the door and turned on the computer.
'To expose the Ant Thieves' whereabouts, I obviously can't use the throwaway account Hao Li gave me,' Zhao Yuan thought. 'It's best to register a new one. That way, even if the Ant Thieves investigate, they won't find any clues leading back to me.'
Having come to this conclusion, Zhao Yuan connected to an overseas VPN before logging onto the Cultivator Forum. When he clicked "register," he casually selected the Pill Master class. Arriving at the test page, he discovered that the Cultivator Forum administrators worked quickly; the few questions and answers he had previously pointed out as flawed had already been corrected.
Zhao Yuan was about to answer subconsciously, but he suddenly froze. 'Wait, that's not right. Only people who can already log into the Cultivator Forum would know the new answers to these questions on the Pill Master test. Other Pill Masters would definitely use the old answers. If the Ant Thieves notice this discrepancy, they might just be able to trace it back to me.'
'To take down a huge organization like the Ant Thieves, every single step has to be meticulously planned. Otherwise, this isn't a scheme—it's a suicide mission!'
'To be safe, I'll register as a Witch Priest instead.' Zhao Yuan backed out of the Pill Master test, opened the registration page for the Witch Priest class, and began the questionnaire.
He had, after all, plundered a massive collection of books on witchcraft and divination from the Ying Family. Answering these basic questions was the work of a few minutes.
Soon, he had successfully registered an account named 'Small Witch Meets Big Witch.' As it was a brand-new account, many sections of the Cultivator Forum were inaccessible. But Zhao Yuan had no intention of browsing other boards; his sole purpose was to post in the "Jianghu Gossip" section.
This board had no account Level restrictions, so it had naturally become the Cultivators' favorite place to chat and shoot the breeze, making it the most active section on the entire forum.
Taking out a pen and paper, Zhao Yuan activated the Tracking Technique, searching for and noting down the addresses of the Ant Thieves' main bases and their high-ranking members, one by one.
Looking at the several pages filled with information, the corner of his mouth curled into a slight smirk. He immediately began composing a new post, typing in all the addresses.
Unfortunately, there was no way to upload the small maps drawn by the Tracking Technique. But that didn't matter; the written addresses were more than detailed enough.
Soon, the body of the post was complete. When it came time to write the title, Zhao Yuan deliberated. 'I have to come up with something eye-catching,' he thought. 'Otherwise, if no one clicks on it, this whole plan will be a bust, won't it?'
After a long moment of consideration, he typed out the title: "SHOCKING! Addresses of the Mysterious Ant Thieves Massively Leaked! You Won't BELIEVE Where They've Been Hiding!"
